Chapter 211 An Unexpected Visitor

   I looked from Mom to Xylie and both had an amused look on their faces. It's not that they are having visitors that is my problem but the fact I am not properly dressed. I did not even know what came over me. This is unlike me that is always cautious of how I dressed,I think my inner witch wants to teach me a lesson.

    The beep came again and Xylie stood up to go,I made to stop but thought against it,what will be my reason for asking him not to open door for his visitors. But come to think of it,why am I behaving like this?,it's not like the guest opinion about me will matter.

    The door opened and I heard voices and I swear,I recognized one of the voices. It's a lady and a guy's voice I heard but the guy's own sounds familiar. I did not want to believe my ears but then,it was really who I was not expecting to see, an unexpected visitor.

    There was an empty opened plate in front of me and I wished there was food inside,I could have gotten busy with it and forget about the voice,but I am sure it's him or my head is messing with me but if it's him,what relationship does he have with Xylie and Mom. I have restored to calling Gina's Mom,Mom.

    I heard foot steps approaching and I bent my head,it was really him. 

"OMG! What am I going to do now,I really do not want to be in the same space with him"

I muttered shaking,I was beginning to panic. I tried calming down but there was no way for me. Problems seems to find me all the time.

   From my peripheral view,I could see two pairs of legs,one a belong to a male and a female. Xylie came to me and raised my head up.

    "What's it darling?"

   He asked and that moment my eyes met with Ben's and time stood still,the memories of our little happy moment came rushing back to me. I thought I have gotten over those memories but no matter how hard I had tried to bury it,it keeps coming back alive. A tear dropped from my eyes and I stylishly wiped it with my handkerchief. I tore my gaze off him and looked at Xylie.

   " It's nothing,I caught cold so I have not been feeling well but not to worry,I could manage until dinner is over"

I said and he nodded in understanding,the lady that came with him happens to be his fiancee,my client. I am not surprised she is the one but how are they connected to my hosts.

    "This is Rosie and Ben,Rosie is our neighbor so mom thought since she wants to host you to a dinner date,that it's cool she invites Rosie too but then Rosie invited her fiance ."

He explained and I nodded,that explains it.

   "Hi Nora,I was not expecting to see you here but it's all good"

  She said and wink at me silently sending a secret message and I understood. I nodded and smiled,I looked from her to Ben and he has a confused look on his face. Poor guy,I know he will be wondering how I know Rosie.

    "It's a pleasant surprise,I was not expecting to see you here, you must be new here"

    "Oh yes,I packed in two months ago and Mrs Smith has been more like a mom to me so when she invited me for a dinner,I thought it wise to come with my boyfriend to show her. She deserves to know who her sweetheart has fallen in love with"

   While she was saying all that she did not tire her gaze off Ben,I could see the sincere love in her eyes,there is no doubt she loves him but does Ben love her too because the look on Ben's face says otherwise.

 "That's very thoughtful of your Rosie"

Mom said and turned to Ben.

   " Hello Ben, Rosie has said so much about you. She really adores you. I am happy I am finally meeting you,she is  like a daughter to me"

  "It's my pleasure ma'am,she can't stop talking about you too. Finally meeting you is my pleasure"

   Ben said and moved over to mom and kissed her two cheeks. Mom pulled him and kissed his forehead.

    There was this unfathomable love I saw in her eyes when she kissed him,it's really touching to watch her display that act of affection. She is a sweet soul,she loves everyone equally.

  Xylie cleared his throat and I laughed,

   "I am still here"

He said with a hint of jealousy in his voice and I could not help but to chuckle. I can't believe that this tough guy in front of me will be jealous of anyone but then,you can't blame him,I understand him perfectly well. It's really not easy to miss out on what everyone enjoys while growing up and now, somebody wants to love him with her whole heart,I bet he can't stand the feeling.

    "Chill sweetheart,no one is taking Mom away from you. She is yours and yours only,no one is struggling to share her love with you"

   He smiled at me and I did too.
