Chapter 257 We Have Got ourselves

 Nora's point of view......

.....6 am

     I gradually open my eyes to see the sun rays reflecting through the blind. I was not able to pull it through last night when I returned because I was too tired to lift myself. I stared and rolled on my other side, still feeling so exhausted. I can't believe all that happened yesterday actually happened.

   So I, Nora was able to locate my mate like for real,it's unbelievable. Benjamin was my mate after all. 

    Knowing Frank is Ben's father and who knew Ben's mate was is what I am yet to digest into my system. Why did he not invite me to the party? Well, I guessed he was aware that Sharon was inviting me after all.

I don't know what to make out of this but I am happy. I know Ben is supposed to be by my side right now but we are in a civilized world, it's not like I have got a duty like Gina or that we have got to go back to South. It feels like we are not mates but two people who fell in love, like this mate thing is not real but we both know that it is real. 

    Ben being a half breed makes it more fun because he is hundred percent human and is limited to so many things like disappearing and all that after we have settled down as a couple, we will have a normal life.

   And about that disappearing thing, Benjamin has been limited to it. I think it was his hunger for me to find him that made him break that protocol or maybe he is not limited after all.

    I want to be normal like every lady out there. Being a witch for centuries now has not changed the fact that I am human, only that I am not normal.

    I rose from the bed to see what's time,it was 6 in the morning, too early to start anything. I will not be going to my office for a while. I want to take a break and maybe chill with Benjamin to make up for the time lost.

   Speaking of a king and he calls, I pick the call not letting it ring for another second.

"Hello Angel"

He said,from his tone,I can bet you he just woke up from bed. I like his morning voice,it sounds so deep.

  "Hi king,how was your night?"

"My night was great and I am sure you had a wonderful night too"

I could feel the excitement in his face. He is surely happy.

    "I did, still lying in bed"

I said and lay back in the bed.

  "Same here,I wish you were here with me. We could have done something you know"

I blushed hearing him say that. I thought I was the only one naughty,when he said something. I know the kind of something he is talking about.

   "Definitely,no denying"

I replied and muffled a laugh.

  "You know my party had to cut short our plans yesterday but we got ourselves and we are not running, you know why, it's because we both are stuck with each other for eternity so there is no need to rush. We have got time to make up for ourselves"

  I smiled to myself when he said that. He sees good in everything and I am happy to be connected to him.

  "I have got you boy so don't worry we have got ourselves and we will enjoy until we are tired still,we keep enjoying. Nature has to make up for two of us"

He chuckled on the phone and I smiled.

   "Who are you calling boy, don't let me get you there because you know I can punish you in a way you would not imagine"

He said.

    "My king, a punishment coming from you,I would gladly take it because I know there is no punishment. You would not have the heart to punish me for real"

I said, smirking.

   "You sure are daring me but I will pardon you."

"Yeah you should,"

I said and sighed, I got carried away that I failed to ask after others. 

 "What of Sharon and dad?"

"They are good. Dad could not stop talking about you,how he gave you lifts twice and all that and it got me thinking that he knew about you all along. I wanted to get angry at him but shun myself against it. He is lucky that I am his son, he would have pay for the emotional trauma we went through"

   I know Ben a little to know that something like this will get to him. He is an emotional person.

"You don't have to blame him,I think he wanted us to find ourselves and we did without his help so don't be too hard on him"

I said and he sighed at the other end.

"We are cool, thanks baby I love you."
