Chapter 303 Peace After All

    Coming here was all I needed,I was going to be at peace after all. It's unfortunate dad, that you have to be six feet down but it's all since you don't complain,I guess it should be fine by me. I love you both now and forever.

    I sighed and looked at Rory, she was smiling.

  "Your parents like me and imagine your mom telling me to stay if I want to. Does that not tell you anything, Xylie?"

She was excited and I couldn't tell why she was bubbling up. Whatever, I don't share in her excitement.

   "Xylie, you are not saying anything?"

She asked,

   "What do you want me to say, Rory dear?"

   I asked with a charming smile and she looked at me confused, I smirked. 

  "I am surprised at your behave sometimes. I can't understand you but anyway if you don't want to share in my excitement so be it"

She said and took a step, Rory will always be Rory. Her mood swing is on top notch, something that doesn't need for her to get angry, she gets angry. She has a soft heart and I am sure that is why little things get to her.

  "Alright Rory, don't be like that. You can stay if you want to after all, no one asked you to come back anyway and like my mom said, the choice is yours so don't fuss about it."

  She heaved and waved her hand.

   "Whatever you say"

She said

   I shook my head and looked at their grave. I don't know when I am going to come here again, I didn't even come with flowers.

   "See you both when I have to see you"

With that, my work there was finished, it was time to go back to Beverly and going back to Beverly means reality.

   "We are done here, let's go"

I said and took Rory by the hand. I had in mind to tour more places with Rory but we can always come back.

   She reluctantly let me held hand and we found ourselves at the throne house, inside the lounge to be precise.

     A maiden was leaving the lounge the moment we arrived. She obviously came to clean the lounge. I beckoned her and told her to let the lord and Lordress know that we are here,she left and Rory and I settled down on the seater. She was still frowning.

   "Rory, you will get old if you continue to frown like that"

   I said and she hissed.

    "Just let me be Xylie"

She said,

  "Okay"

I replied and she looked at me before rolling her eyes.

   "You are so annoying, don't even know what I am doing here with you?"

She asked bitterly

"Well it because you love me that's what you are doing with me"

I replied and smirked, getting on her skin gives me a sweet feeling. If I don't get on her skin, who would?

    Gina and Chris walked and Gina was frowning. First time I saw her squeezing her face, it must really be bad, who knows what happened between them?.

  "Xylie, Rory you two are back so soon,I thought you might want to explore the whole of the south?"

Chris said and pulled Gina down with him to sit down. Gina eyed him but still allowed him to drag her down.

  "Sis, hope you are okay?"

I asked, this was so unlike Gina. She was always giddy up.

  "Yeah,you know pregnancy and all that. Don't worry I will be fine. So how was your tour?"

   "It was nice though, Rory and her troubles made it worthwhile"

I replied and she chuckled as Rory glared at me, I am glad she was able to smile a little.

  "It looks like someone still wants to tour round"

Chris asked, eyeing Rory who got her attention focused on Gina.

   "I have had enough,I can always come back. Thanks for asking"

Chris nodded and Gina smiled.

   "It's alright, don't know Xylie if you are going back to Beverly or you will stay a little but whichever one you want, South is open to you anyway anytime and  when I say South, I mean the mansion and Rory you know your way already, stay comfortable."

Gina said and stood up with Chris.

 "I am actually going to Beverly with Xylie"

Rory said, Chris and Gina looked at her for some time then looked at me, I shrugged my shoulders, they both shook their heads and left not without Gina telling Rory to do as she wishes.

   With that, it was time to go back to Beverly,I took Rory's hand and we left the South, with the thought of coming back again. It's been a long journey.
