Chapter 369 Moment of Peace

Nora's point of view.....

Ben and I were seated in his car not talking to each other.

   Xylie and Rory had left long time ago.

With everything that has happened tonight, I learnt something. When people suddenly become nice to you, they are after something precious in you. I don't know why I could not tell that Loveth was a witch after all. I was not stupid, I was just being nice and I would not change my ways because of how I am being treated each time I show kindness.

   Ben touched me and I turned towards him.

"Are you okay?"

He asked looking worried.

   "I am fine, just tired from tonight. Thank goodness it is all over"

   "Yeah, it is all over. Let's go home"

He told me and started the car and we left the ancient hall.

  Ben did not take the route leading to my apartment, rather he took another which I know off course where it leading to, to his father's mansion.

  That's right, as it is now, I need the comfort of my sister. She would be much appreciate this time.

   We got home to the mansion and I came down before Ben did. I had to wait for him.

The light was not out so it means the couple was still be awake.

   Ben walked to me and took my hand.

"Let's go inside, Bunny"

Despite how down I was feeling I chuckled at what Ben called me.

   "How many sweet names will you call me"

"As many as I wish. It makes me want to see your different reactions to those names"

  I giggled and went inside together. We met Sharon and Frank in the living room Sharon smiled the moments she saw us.

   "Oh! my babies are home, how did the party go?"

She exclaimed.

   "Yes Mom we are good evening to you"

Frank smiled at both of us.

   "You witnessed something tonight. We were all aware and we are glad that it is over for now. We all know that as the witch race is concerned, the war will never be over. Congratulations to you both."

  I am just realizing that everyone except me or probably Ben was aware of tonight but I got the feeling though. It came to me on our way to the dinner party.

    "How funny things ended before it even began. I knew Lady D was out to destroy Nora and I but it's fine, at least  we have peace of mind for a while and will not relent because we  know we will never stop fighting. War will continue to find us. This I know."

  Ben said. It was happy moments for all of us.

Xylie's point of view....

     Rory and I  got home to mom still wide obviously waiting for us.

   She hugged Rory.

    "Welcome guys, Gina has gone home right?"

She said after she pulled apart.

  "Yes Mom. We are really tired. We see you tomorrow"

  I told her and took Rory by the hand and went into my room.

    I don't know about Rory but kissing my bed is the next thing on my mind.

Writer's point of view ...... 

Rory and Xylie took turns in having their births and no time they were sleeping. There was no doubt in their faces is that they are going to take their relationship to another level. Since there is peace for the moment, they will explore each other and find out happiness. They will make the best of the time they have now and have it to the fullest.

   Mrs Smith sat on her bed smiling. She knows quite well that it was not over after all but there is going to be peace for her and the people she love for a moment, she don't know when the next war is coming up but it was definitely come sooner or later.

   Gina laid on the bed with Chris snuggling against each other. She had narrated to Chris all that happened while she was in Beverly and Chris who was aware was not too surprised that lady D had to pulled the stunt but the good thing is it was over for now.

    "I am glad that you are okay, Nora is okay then, Ben  is okay and everyone is okay, that's fine. We are going to pass and hopefully we will prepare for what is coming because we definitely know that something bigger is coming. I just pray that we are not caught unaware"

He said and smelt Gina's hair who smiled and rubbed her tummy.
