Chapter 373 Moon Celebration

   I returned with Abigail and Theophilus who practically raced through to go and meet Mrs Smith. Before I could reached the pool side, they were into a tight embrace with Mrs Smith who can't seems to get enough of the hug.

   I shook my head and sat on my own space. Ben smiled at me and squeezed my hand because I was sitting close to him.

   "Abigail, what has mummy been feeding you?"

Mrs Smith asked Abigail after she released Theophilus and her. Bob came down from Gina's leg and walked to me and I picked him up.

   "There is no special food mummy feeds me, I eat what everyone else eats. Is that not so daddy?"

She turned towards Ben and asked him with a cute smile on her face.

  "It is so my darling. There is no special food. We eat everything"

Ben aided her answer and she walked towards him and sat in between his legs while Theoplhilus quietly walked to Gina and squatted by her side then whispered something to her and no time, he withered away.

   Gina trust the boy so much that she let's him go wherever he wants without restrictions. She knows so well that it's not safe but I trust her judgement. If she trust him to take care of himself then I trust him too.

   Lily sat by the side playing with Abigail's ball the one that has fell into the pool. I was listening to what Mrs Smith was saying and my attention was on her.

   She screened the ball like it bites but still continues to play with it. She would look at the ball very well before bouncing it up and down and I continued wondering why she does that before bouncing it.

   Abigail too was watching her and from time to time she would frown deeply.

   I found today strange because she did not go with Theopihilus when he left. Before she can't let him go without her going with him unless he is going back to The South. When I meant them in Abigail's room, both of them were at different corner playing on their own and had thought that I would asked them what's the matter after they would have said Hello to our guest.

    But still, I would asked Abigail if they had fought because that is the only explanation to their strange behaviors.

    "The celebration of moon is coming up soon, how are we going to do about it?"

Mr Smith voiced out.

   I totally forgot about the celebration of the moon which the witch Princess has initiated on her second year of being the queen and The people of South could not be happier than anyone else.

   We celebrate it to mark the Queen's Victoria over lord Xexes and the bloodlines has not failed to be in attendance for the past seven years, this is the eightieth year.

  "Mom, it is just a few days time. There is nothing to prepare about, it's just the normal celebration. You are making it sound like we have been having a pattern way of celebrating it over the past seven years. This year celebration is not going to be different and we will celebrate it normally like we usually do."

   Gina said and Rory nodded her in agreement.

   "It seems you all are forgetting something. That very day is Abigail's birthday, so don't you see this year own is special."

   Mrs Smith said and I opened my eyes wide. It's true, that day is Abigail's birthday. I did not forget that 18th is Abigail's birthday, I only did not remember the moon celebration is that day.

    "Mama, who is having a baffdai?

Lily asked in a childish manner, struggling to get up and fail. Gina walked to her and picked her up.

I chuckled to how she pronounced the birthday.

   "Your sis is having her birthday in a few days time and there will be a lot of chocolates"

There was joy in her eyes when she heard Gina mentioned Chocolates. She so much love chocolate.

   "I am have no Chocolate cake this year."

Abigail said grumpily.

    Suddenly, she does not want chocolate cake but it has been her long time cake flavour.

    "I hope it's not because Lily wants chocolate that's why you suddenly lost interest on chocolate cake?"

I asked her sternly. I love her but I don't want her to be a spoilt brat.

    "Lily loves chocolate cake and you do so definitely you are having a chocolate cake. No two ways about it and that is final, Abigail"

Ben said and she quietly came down from Ben's lap and went inside.

   I apologise to everyone present over her behaviour and went after her.
