"Of Course there is more"
Ben and I turned to see Gina sitting comfortable at the back of the car with a frown on her face. She was angry and I could feel it.
"She needs the soul of the Innocent to bring you down. She is doing everything possible to make sure you and Ben cease to exist."
Gina said. It was adding up now.
"So if I am not mistaken she perform the ritual death"
"That's correct and she succeeded in performing the ritual and I can't assure that she does not have an edge now. The only thing she failed to understand is that good will always prevail"
"So what do you suggest?"
Ben asked
"I suggest nothing only for both of you to be careful. I can't guarantee you both anything."
She replied and finally smiled a little.
"I understand, hope you are good?"
"I am, definitely. I am staying over so I would just go over to Mom's place. Before I leave I will see you both"
She said and vanished from the car. Gina is welcomed in Beverly after all it's her hometown but her sudden appearance sparks something. I was in the South earlier and she did not mention coming to Beverly which means her coming was a decision she took after I left.
I was wondering about the possibility of her coming when I felt Ben touch my cheeks. I smiled even though I did not look at him.
"We are going to be fine, we will pass."
His soft words calmed me down and I knew we are going to be fine. If it's a crime for one to live happily with the people that matter most, I need to know.
"Thanks Ben, I just don't get what Lady D will get from all of these. It's a pity she is doing this"
"You don't have to worry. We have got ourselves and I make a promise to you today, no matter what may, we will go through this together. One thing I have come to understand is that trouble will always surface. We should not give up because we will always have a way to solve our problems. What matters is at the end we are victorious"
Ben said, comforting me.
"I know right"
I chuckled and kissed his lips.
"Take me home, we have had enough"
Ben nodded his head and began driving away. I kept looking back until the burning restaurant was no longer in sight, I exhaled. It's indeed sad how it just went up in flames in just a second.
Gina's point of view…..
I found myself at Mom's place. There was no sound coming from anywhere which means, Rory, mom and Xylie might be out. I relaxed on the couch and looked around. Nothing changed, I can't believe I no longer live here.
It's been a month now. A lot has happened, a rollercoaster of people on the way and now, I am the most recognized lady in The South and great Beyond. I met people, different people, witches and humans.
I thought back to what happened earlier on and why Lady D would do what she did. There was no need trying not to understand. She understands the ritual of deaths and has successfully carried it out.
I did not want to tell Nora about tonight and all that has been planned but one thing is certain, good will always prevail. She is safe and so is her mate.
I stood up and made my way to my room. I miss being the Gina of the house.
I passed Xylie's room and did not bother going in, I got to my room and it was not like I left it. My guess, Rory has been here or might be going to stay here if she wishes, if not mom will make out her own room for her because I know Mom.
Writer's point of view….
Lady D had just returned from a successful mission and was all smiles. It was easy, something she thought it was going to be hard to carry out. It was a good thing she carried out the mission herself, who knows one of her aids would have failed.
She opened the little box she carried and sniffed the content, it smells victory to her. She smiled and closed the box back.
"I am just ready for tonight and nothing, I repeat, nothing will stop me from serving dishes to whom is supposed to be served to"
She thought smiling to herself.
Jeff watched her and smiled. He has nothing to do. He will just wait and watch how tonight drama is going to unfold.
The battle line has been drawn and it's between Lady D and Glamorous, the mountain witch.
