Chapter 426 It's Never Too Late

Nora's point of view…  

    Jeff has been giving me a headache ever since. Despite he saw I was having a lot in my hands yet he kept getting on my nerves.

   The catering service that was hired had arrived and they are getting ready for the event. It's just a small event which I could have handle the food but Ben insisted that a catering services should be hired 

   "Aunty Nora, can I go see the new bride?"

Jeff asked and I quickly agreed. 

"You can go"

I dismissed him and he ran off.

"Jeff, you will not be the end of me. Let me use this moment you are off to get breath of some fresh air."

I muttered.

   "Hello sweetheart"

I blushed when I heard his voice. It was Ben.

 "Ben, you are back. I am glad, at least you will take Jeff out for a while so that I will have my space"

 I told him with pouty lips.

"Jeff must have given you a tough time as always. I actually I got the ice cream, I myself, don't have strength for his trouble so I am got the ice cream on my way back"

My hope of spending time without Jeff crashed when I heard what Ben said. He saw my expression and looked at me apologetically.

   "I am sorry dear but we both are running from the same thing so you can't blame me"

"It's okay, I will have to endure him. Meanwhile, he ran off to see Abigail. Did you see dad?"

  "Yes I did. Mom said she is coming but needs to do something urgent"

"Okay. I am almost done here."

Ben smiled at me then pecked my cheeks.

"This is for Jeff give it to him when he is back, I am off now"

He said and left immediately.

  Abigail's point of view….

Briana did all my make-up. I was done with all that I needed to put on. I was good to go, just waiting for time.

The picture of the girl in the mirror was off someone who is in a quest for Revenge.

My door opened slightly and a little boy came in. He smiled at me, I was staring at the mirror but I could see the smile plastered on his face.

  "You look beautiful if only the heart will look as the owner"

He said and sat on my bed.

  "Who are you and what are you doing in my room?"

I asked him. He looked up at me and smiled,

"What do you think?"

He smirked.

  If not for my dress that would not allow me to move. He would have received a knock by now. Kids and manners.

   "I am a Friend of your mom and dad. I am here to watch you get married"

   "Alright but get down from my bed."

 I told him with a frown on my face still he kept looking at me.

  He came down from the bed after he was done staring at me and walked towards the door and made to leave,

   "It's never too late to change."

With that he walked out of my room.

  Something was off about him, I assumed that the boy came with a friend of mom so I did not stand up to go see where he is heading to.

Tonight by midnight will would be the day the southern prince and the destined bride would be joined together and it will be the beginning of Prince Theophilus reign.

It has been a rule made by the ancient throne maker that the prince gets married at the early morning of his twentieth birthday. It was supposed to happen to Chris but due to the circumstances as of his own time,  he was an exception.

  Gina and Chris's reign stopped today and they would have the time to make up to each for the years they did not get to spend time as they should because they were busy attending to the affairs of the people.

   Gina was happy that she and Chris were able to produce an heir to the throne. It was a great achievement on their part and they will be celebrated by the witches.

    But it looks like there is something going on because Jeff, Ben's mantle of protection does not wake up from his slumber when there is no problem.

Nora has a hitch, Gina has a bad feeling and Theophilus does not want to marry his bride and suddenly, Jeff appears. There is more tonight.

  Nature waits patiently for tonight because she has the feeling. She can see and feel but can't tell what exactly will happen.
