Chapter 420 Break The Rules

 Theophilus's point of view….

I got to my room and Lily was doing Justice to my room. She ran my things over and my bed is a heap of mess because almost all my clothes laid carelessly on it. I shut my eyes and opened. The will to scream at her was not there, I was more of a zombie at the moment.

  She did not realize that I was in the room and she continued to disarrange my room. I can't tell what she is looking for.

  She screamed a moment later and I turned my attention towards her. She was looking at something I can't see from where I stood.

  "No way, theophilus. When you get back here, you will tell me who the hell is this girl. She looks so stunning and …."

Her last words got to me and realized that it's a photo of Gracie I stole from her that Lily just found.

  I found myself behind her immediately and picked up the photo in a flash.

  "Stop going through my stuff, Lily. I would not mind you are my aunt"

She looked at me and smiled devilishly,

   "Who is she?"

"Not your business, Lily. Now leave my room and on your way out, call a maid to come and arrange this mess you made here"

   I said sternly but the little devil will not burge.

   "Well, it is my business because my nephew who is supposed to get married today rather, tonight is supposedly having a picture of a Lady in his closet, not that the picture of the lady is his supposed wife"

  She said, grinning wickedly,

"I want to know who she is, Theophilus. So who is she?"

"Lily, you don't wanna know so out of my room now"

I said as I pushed her towards the door.

"Okay, wait until I tell my big sis about it and you will spill it by force"

She said and I halted in my tracks.

  "You are not going to do that, are you?

"You know what I can do, just trust me"

She said and made to leave but I dragged her back.

  "Are you insane Lily, you know how cranky your sis, my mom is going to get if you tell her"

  "I know and that's why I want to tell her or unless you tell me who the lady is"

 I sighed and climbed my bed after I had made some space on it.

  "Her name is Gracie and I have known her for a long time, happy now?"

I explained, hoping she is cool with it.

  "Theophilus, I did not ask you to give me her name, I asked who she is"

  "But I just told you who she is"

"Well I am not satisfied with your explanation of who she is. There is more and I can feel it. Why would you rather have her picture instead of your bride"

Lily is too intelligent for her age and I hate that a lot about her. That's what happens to kids who grew up in civilization.

    "Since you want to know why I have her picture, I will tell you and I hope after that, you will keep quiet and not spill. I like her and I want her but as you know, I can't have her because of Abigail and I wish there is a way to go about it. I had to steal her picture to be seeing her. Even if I can't be with her, her picture will be here with me"

  The grin on her face dropped the moment she heard why I had to have Gracie's picture.

  "You really do like her, don't you?"

"I do."

  "Then if you do, don't get married to Abigail."

She suggested and I gave a small laugh.

"You know that's not possible, I am destined to marry Abigail"

  "That's bullshit. I am a witch but I would not allow myself to be subjected to this kind of thing. I am free to choose who I want to marry, not the other way round. I don't care about witches and metas so if you like Gracie. Break the rules and make her yours, you don't need me to tell you what to do. Theophilus, break the rules for your happiness. I will do anything to keep my peace of mind if you understand what I mean."

She said and I smiled. I have never thought about breaking the rules. She might be a little girl but Lily sure has a brain of fire.

   "Thanks Lily"

I smiled and she smiled back.

  "First of all, take me to her. I want to see the one who has kept my nephew restless"

She winked and I laughed genuinely.

"Definitely"
