Chapter 40 ken in hospital

Miriam took ben aside, because
ken has lost his memory
that is why we couldn’t find
him on time.
What? Ben shouted and turn
to look at ken.
You mean he can’t recognize
any of us?

right now, so we go home and
bring your parents, they may
be able to know what to do.
Ok..ok.. let’s go then he said
still looking at ken.
They ask the boss to take
care of him while they go get
his parents.

then why is he not here, maybe

more sillier than that.
Ken walked up to a large crowd
of people who are looking at
him like they have seen a ghost.

Ken ask surprise.

you home.

Within 30 minute the ambulance
arrive and Ken was forced inside
it, because he was resisting
and refuse to go with them.
Tina keep crying for her son,
saying that he should be
handle with care.
They all arrive at the hospital
and ken was roll into his room,
doctors attending to him while
the whole family standing
outside waiting to hear the
result.
What did the doctor said was
wrong with him?, and why can’t
he seem to recognize any of us?.
I don’t know yet, Ben’s mom
reply, let’s just wait for them to
come out.
Ohh. My son he can’t go mad.
He is not mad, he just seem to
lost his memory, ben’s mom
keep reminding Tina.
Doctor and Mr. Jackson coming
out of the unit.
The whole family rush to hear
the outcome.
What happen to him doctor?
"Well, his brain is going through
stress right now but he will be
fine in no time, it seem that he
had an injury in is brain that
force him into forgetting the
most important things to him
most importantly the things that
are dear to his heart he will
seem to forget them but with
the right surgery I am sure he
will be fine.
Then please go ahead with the
surgery Mrs. Tina said.
The operation has to be carried
out in few days madam the
doctor reminded Mrs. Jackson.
"Is fine doctor, Mr. Jackson said,
just do your best."
"Ok sir."
Mr. Jackson ask Miriam and Ben
to stay with Ken in the hospital
while he takes the rest of the
family home.
"Am not going anywhere
without my son, Tina said, am
staying here with him."
"Fine, you can stay Mr. Jackson
said not wanting to take that
right from her, is her son after
all and she has been waiting for
this long to see him.
"So let’s go home the rest of you."
Everyone was happy now, ken
is finally back, now ben’s mom
would be rest assured that no
one will blame her for the death
of ken, Oh.. thank God, what
a relieve she said when
they got home.
"And why are you so happy?
Mr. Jackson asks his wife, I
thought you will be ok if Ken and
his mom just disappear and I
also thought that you have been
behaving strange lately.
"You see, that is why am happy."
"What do you mean by that?"
"If ken had died what will you have
said to me?
"I don’t get you."
"Am saying if Ken had died you
would have personally said that
I kill him so my son can inherit
your wealth."

"Halleluiah" Mr. Jackson said, not
believing what he is hearing.

ahead to marry another woman."

said, and wondering how many
times he has to sorry to his wife.

you cheated on me."
"We don’t have to go over and
over with this, beside am now a
good man.

it would have been better if I was
the only woman you married,
now I have to share you with Tina.

Jackson ask wording if he will
ever stop saying sorry to his wife
for the rest of his life. Women are unbelievable, they said they’ve
forgiven you now, and the next
minute you need to beg for your

that Ken recovered quickly and
come back to us in good health.

for his recovering.
"Back in the hospital Ken couldn’t understand why this people are
staying in the hospital waiting
on him for, did I said am sick?
He ask the doctor.

brain that needs to be taking
care of.

"They are the people who brought
you here."
"I know they brought me here
but who are they?"
"Am your mother, and he is ben
your brother, and Miriam our
Maid… she pause as Miriam
make a face.
