Chapter 3: 4th Baby Mama

On this pretty annoying Saturday, Lola and i didn't say a word you each other. I said a short prayer and took in my blanket and pillow to the room, spread my sheets property and headed to brush my teeth, I looked at the mirror while brushing , appreciating my God-given beauty, my sexy eyes.... Gosh they are perfect. I finished up, on my way out I bumped into Lola mistakenly then blurted.

  "Watch where you headed, 'friend-in-need' kinda girl...

  "Say a damn word again, then I'd have no option than to smash tits..."

I said mockingly

  "At least you got nothing to be smashed though". She mocked

Then I melted , I felt challenged

  "So if them guys are going to love you,  they'd always go for booty and tits that's why you keep getting hurt by some useless guy". I pondered

  "Yea whatever.". She said

She brushed my shoulder and went to the sink to brush as well. I knew I hit the nail in her brain and I walked way, dressed for my morning jog and headed out. I hugged some while dropped by the burger shop. I saw my burger friend looking stress about something then I waved

  "Hey!  I looked at him beaming

  "Oh hi.". He replied being a bit conservative

  "Oh ok. 4." I requested, kreping my cool

  "6k. There you go.....". He smiled

  "Sure whatever." I snapped

  "Danielle, I just lost a friend. Sorry for the attitude.". He apologized

  "My bad. I'm having a bad day somehow. Sorry about your friend you know....

  "Let me walk you home, please.". He opted politely

   "Great!". I headed out

He spoke to his colleague, keeping his apron and followed me outside. We walked down

  "About your friend, you knew him since childhood?  I asked

  "Not really. He is a business partner.". He calmly replied, holding his hands behind his back 

  "Sorry for being nosy though. He got sick right?". I asked again not minding if he got angry or not

He looked me and faintly smiled

  "He was murdered by some guy...

  "Woah. Really sorry, that's brutal. I believe he was a good man". I added

  "Its nothing. Thanks to you, for listening trash girl". He stopped

  "Its great, burger man." I punched him lightly

  "Hum, can i-i-i....". He stuttered

  "Let me have your phone?". I figured he wanted my number

  "Great, way too smart but I didn't want your number". He teased. 

  "Ok. I thought you did though. Don't get too haughty, just admit it."

 I smiled

  "Yes Danni. I need not want it.". He said looking embarrassed

I collected his cell, typed in my number and we bid each other goodbye and we parted.

Few doors to my apartment, a car horned behind me, I turned and got pissed

  "Am I going to go down to go down the drainage or what?" I yelled looking at the Rover in tinted tinted shields. Someone hopped down in a rush and stood in front of me. I was like dang its this gum body, my Ex. Eric. He hugged me me then I forced a smiled

  "Long time. You still got this don't-want-you-around looking. C'mon Danielle, I'm not asking you back...

   "Did I just hear your shit?". I angrily asked

  "My bad. I didn't mean it that way, i swear!". He pleaded

   "Why did we break up, huh? Its this lack of humanity you got, you know that?". I blurted

A lady down from the Rover and came forth

  "Ok SiSi, take your man out of my way, why did you let him out?". I turned to walk away

  "Coz I wanted this scene, hmm.". She folded her arms posing well

  "Ok, Eric can you tell this bissh that im not having this sick conversation--right now?". I turned to Eric. "Do it"

  "Ada, can we head back now? Why did you come out there first place?"  He looked at her

  "To stand for you... And you girl, stay off my Eric" She said

  "Your name sounds just as ugly as you are... You're the soon to be baby mama, are you? The 4th one, how does that feel?

I said mockingly even tho I lied about him having baby mamas, I just wanted more drama. I needed to laugh

  "What? Danni, you dot To be joking, are you high?". He asked shockingly

  "Just making things lit easier for your woman. Bye 4th baby mama" I smiled and walked away

I overdosed them arguing badly. I didn't feel bad for her or Eric either, he could handle it and for her, she should just cry her life out.

  "Eric, are you that stupid? Keeping 4 baby mamas?

  "Are you believing her, you think I got baby mamas?". He questioned being pissed

  "She just mentioned." She added foolishly

  "Are you scared of being fourth?". He added angrily

He headed to the car and drove off leaving her behind, she tried to swallow her tears as I called

  "Ugly girl, would you want coffee or tequila or maybe Vodka for a start? I figured you're about to cry to stupor". I laughed

  "Go to hell" she screamed angrily, taking off her bone straight wig and her heels to walk.

I entered the house and Lola and her boyfriend kissing on the couch passionately without them noticing my presence. I got irritated, picked my cell phone  and car keys then headed out. I guess quick karma caught up with me instantly for lying against Eric, but then Ada kind of deserved it, she was like a leech on my skin for the first moments we spent arguing.

I reversed from the driveway and hit the road, I found Adam still walking on the streets hopefully, then I pulled over in front of her

She actually suspected a guy wanted to give her a ride, my glass was halfway wounded down tgen, she came thru

  "Hey handsome, could you just drop me off the...". She began to stutter when she saw me my smiling face

  "Get off my lane". She screamed walking away

I followed her slowly and tilted my head towards the window, with my left arm on the wheels

  "Seriously, come in. I'm not harmful, you are" I said

  "If I am, then why let me into your car?" She looked me & tried to embarrass me

  "Coz I'm not scared of you!" I snapped

  "Whatever!". She hopped in and sighed out of relief

The AC was on, I guess that's why she got relieved from telling under the sun, the smite was uneasy I guess. We both paid the price for being uncivilized but remember she started but or maybe I did. I dialed Jamal, good thing it connected faster than I expected.

  "Hey Jamal?

  "Can I come over for a bath?" I didn't mind if Adam was listening or not 

  "Yea! Don't need to ask, I need you around please?". He sounded down casted & depressed

  "Give me 30". I added

  "Alright Danni.". He hung up

Ada looked at me with her eyes widely open, I knew what she was thinking but it doesn't matter I am my own own and I k ow fully well who I mess with, anything can happen but Jamal was good respecting boundaries.

  "Was that your boyfriend?  She asked curiously

  "No...

  "Don't be shy..."

  "Why'd I lie about my girlfriend nif I got any?" I pointed out

  "Wow, he must be a great guy.

  "He is. We've been friends for a long time now. I see him as a brother though than a friend" I added

We smiled

  "I'd drop at the U-Turn" she pointed

  "Great... I got a lawyer friend around here. Alvin close?"

  "That's my domain... Attorney AB

  "That's him..." I exclaimed in excitement

  "He's a good, you know" she added

  "I could tell you about it." I smiled concentrating on the driveway as I pulled over in front of her apartment

  "Thank you for coming thru. You're nicer than I expected though" she complimented

  "You are as well. Some situations just got the best of us, got us to zero" I added without noticing

I didn't want to be that serious but I found myself talking

  "I'm sorry for earlier, here's my card if you got problems or need to talk over coffee or something...." She handed it over

  "How thoughtful. Thanks I appreciate, I'd honor it!" I smiled

She headed out and waved as I  drove away.
