Chances or none!

I took a black and red denim jacket, my cell phone and shades after i had dressed up in a white sweat shirt and pants accompanied with a pair of black Yeezy sneakers. I headed downstairs to eat at the table Gianna insisted. I approached the dining room where Gianna and Tiana were sitting and chattering which extended to a hysterical laughed, i was fuming inside because Tiana was taking my wife's attention away from me. 

Gia and i kissed swiftly while Tiana's gaze met mine, if only Gia bad eyes behind her head then she'd get a wonderful view regardless.

"Baby, are you going out already? Tiana and i were just talking about the new body lotion's upcoming project, i really want your suggestions." Gia began

  "Oh...uhm! We could talk about that much later but not right now, we should eat up first!" I added

  "Oh ok! Well, Tiana thinks that you'd be a perfect match for our project...." Gia chirped in

  "Of course Jordan, my friend here has told me alot you know. She mentioned that you are such a great hygienic persona, you care for your skin unfailingly...the skincare routine you've adapted to since way back...i could say that you should be our first client to test babs see your yourself. Its unisex." Tiana explained but the more she did that the more i got infuriated and uncomfortable deep inside. I forced a tight smile to take off unnecessary suspicions.

  "Exactly! I know right? Jordan is really a hygienic persona...Thanks to Ms Danielle. She's got a great impact on him." Gia added staring at Tiana while she spoke.

  "Definitely! I could remember an interview he had with my team about three ago, he glowed. You know a great teen model to an adult one is really a hella accomplishment." Tiana stated

  "Oh really? I didn't know you've known my husband for a lorng time." Gianna pointed out.

  "Come on Gia, who wouldn't know Jordan in Miami, have you forgotten that you got married to the Lion's Cub?" Tiana teased as they both laughed again hut I did not. This awkward conversation was driving me nuts already. I sighed then i interrupted.

   "Can we not talk about me, we've got alot to talk about. I should always take the glory..."

   "Exactly! Especially when we don't deserve it!" Tiana blurted defiantly hut Gianna had no clue. Gia's face squeezed a bit trying to fathom Tiana's statement.

  "You think?" Gia asked. How could i forget, Gia pays attention alot to speeches. I looked up to the ceiling then down to the food on the platter.

  "Yes! I mean, not in Jordan's case. He should take more than the glory...he's really achieved a bounty and i think he's an icon." Tiana explained, they smiled again. There was a dead silence for a few seconds as Tiana stirred up. She wouldn't hive up, would she? I asked myself.

  "Sorry but I've got ask this one question. May i?" Tiana asked the both of us.

  "Do we have a choice!" I blurted unconsciously. It echoed in my head by the way.

  "Come on, baby! Not again! Be more mature!" Gia urged speaking underneath her breath. She turned to Tiana "Yes please." Tiana beamed.

  "Oh ok! Are you not having a child soon? Virtually everyone is anticipating. A cub from a lion...stuff like that!" She teased "Forgive my !manners, im only curious!" She added. Gia's face brightened less yet she tried to smile better.

  "Of course! We are working on that actually! We've been stressed up a couple of months ago that was why we took some time off work!" Gia explained maturely, good thing she didn't break down as well

  "Eventually, we'd think of having a child now or not!" I chirped "Such decisions requires a bolder step!"

  "Like what? I'm curious. Most couples out there get married and eventually have tons if kids afterwards..." Tiana stated. Was she challenging me about something i already knew?!

  "...Most couples you say, not all! Like i always tell my wife, we don't have to fall in love to have children as an end product, its a bolder decision every couple had to take before jumping into it!" I stated my point

  "I totally understand but that is the impression couples these portray; fall in love, get married and have kids! I had to ask. I should really change the perspective of how I see things, most importantly baby making!" Tiana added again

  "Absolutely. If you as ask me, I'd prefer a healthy and affectionate marriage over a marriage embedded on high expectations like Having a child first thing!" I stopped. She became speechless. Gia smiled at me, i guess she must have felt relieved. Tiana seemed challenged but her stable and unshaken smirk would not decease.

  "Gia my dear, your husband is such a brain! Brilliant!" Tiana added.

   "You can say that again!!" Gia blurted

Good thing Gia felt impressed and i got something off loaded. My phone beeped. I took it up immediately like I've waited for it. It was a text from Lamar that reads:

            *Bud, i need your help urgently! Could you come over,  please?*

And i texted back Instantly

                     *Stay put! I'd be there in a moment!*

I wiped my mouth with a servittee and looked up to them, i was ready to leave in no cause.

  "Girls? Ive gotta go!" I  I blurted then turned to who was on my right "Lamar needs me, he says its urgent! I just got a text!" I briefly explained. I kissed my wife's enchanting lips.

  "I hope its all fine?! Send my love from here!" Gianna added teasingly

  "Of course!" I stood up to leave as Tiana blurted out as well, she derives joy in getting me infuriated any time she speaks.

  "Drive safe, Jordan!" 

  "Not necessary!" I replied with an almost invisible smile then stormed out of the house.

About 15 to 20 minutes later, i arrived at Lamar's residence. He's always had a spectacular residence. I walked inside like i owed it, we all acted that way to such based on the familiarity. O asked the servant if his wife was around before i could badge in, she wasn't home and that was some sort of relief to me. I walked into his bedroom while he was drinking himself up then we hugged tightly and briefly. We both sat on the porch then i asked.

  "What the hell, bro! Whats going on? You are not looking good at all?" I asked "Did you even take a shower or not?"

  "That's not the issue, ok? Besides, thanks for coming through!" He turned away calmly

  "Sure! You sound serious  and that sucks, tell me what's going on?" I asked

  "I..I..I...Jordan?" He stuttered turning to me "I've messed up big time, I'm doomed!" He said in a shaky voice which got me thinking and wondering what must have happened. I was silent lost in thoughts and doubts.

  "There's no time for regrets. I haven't even heard what you want to say, just say it already, we'll just find a way around it. Right?" I tried to explain, whatever it was, i was ready to listen to everything.

   "Its complicated..." He added instead of confessing. I stood up to leave immediately then finally blurted. I knew it would be a perfect remedy for him to speak up finally.

  "I cheated on my wife and she's gone..." 

I turned to him immediately in shock. Did i really hear him say that? I muttered inside.

  "What the hell, Lamar? You slept with another woman?" I drew closer and sat. I heaved a deep sigh. Little did he know that I'm suffering from a similar situation as his but not cheating in my marital home. Mine or his could be worst, who knows. He was sobbing in no time, He's broken and remorseful.  "Why did you do it? I mean, Riley is a perfect girl for you, she's got absolutely everything you need in a woman, she's just like you!" I cautioned "How on earth did it happen, where did it happen and how did it happen?" I asked

Someone stormed I to the room. I wondered who would have the guts too? Jeff. He closed the door behind him  then stood right before us holding his arms. He looked like a villain right now. I turned away immediately.

  "Were you both going to do this without me?" He asked sternly.

  "Come on Jeff, it's not what you think! Its terrible." I tried to calm him down, at least to sit and have a mutual and mature conversation.

  "Which y'all think i wouldn't know?" He was really disappointed st this.

  "Jeff, I'm sorry! Its not what you think right now, I was going to call you..." Lamar added in tears

  "Going to? Look guys, we always call up each other whether or not we need us so what happened that I was not told? No calls? No texts? No mails? Did i have to find out from your wife?"

  "Wife?" Lamar and i asked in unison.

  "Yes cowards, yes! She phoned me wailing over the phone. Did you really cheat on her? I mean, that's exactly what she said and i don't wanna believe that either! I'd love to hear the whole truth from the horses' mouth! Start talking!" Jeff inquired again

  "Could you at least sit first?" I tried to coax but he seemed defiant.

  "This applies to you too!" Jeff blurted. I wondered if he already knew what's happening in my house. Oh God! I need help, a fast one.

  "A'ight!" I Snapped. Lamar had wiped off his tears with tissue.

"She's right, i cheated on her...i slept with another woman a day before yesterday...I..I really thought she wouldn't find out just yet...its not like i meant it but i wanted to tell her myself." He stopped

  "You know very well that its hard to spit it out yourself!  They'd...she'd definitely find out! Its sad that this had to happen!" I saud coldly

  "They?" Jeff tilted his head forward a bit "Anyways Lamar, I'm highly disappointed at you and I'm damn surprised that kareem's reaction is COLD. What the hell is wrong with the both of you? Someone start talking..." Jeff demanded, he was serious. He dragged another chair sitting before us.

  "What do you mean I'm cold? I disappointed as well but is there literally any thing we could do at this moment that the did has been done? Its logical that there's none!" I replied defensively.

  "Guys? Just stop arguing ok? Y'all are here to help me find a solution...to fix my home not ruin it, please?" Lamar cautioned

  "Oh Now its 'WE'? I thought i forcefully found way here?!" Jeff cringed. I admit that we were wrong for not calling him but this is getting too far. He was right, I'm not reacting too loudly because I've got my problems in stock.

  "Jeff, could you stop acting immature right now? Alright! We are sorry for not calling you up like we should, right Lamar?" I inquired turning to him then Jeff again "We would never do that on purpose. Don't get me wrong! We are truly sorry!" I took charge, apologizing.

  "Exactly, y'all should be!" He nodded lightly but positively "So what do we next?" Jeff added

  "But first, He's got to tell us what, when and how it happened. That's how we would fix this shit up, don't y'all think?" I straightened out.

  "Of course!" Jeff snapped. 

  "I headed for work as always right after Riley and i had an argument. My P.A, Tracey, walked into my office to talk business like we should and then we collided." Lamar briefed

  "That's crazy right now. Did she make advances at you or you stupidly made one?" Jeff cautioned

  "I did!" He blurted out "She's beautiful and i wanted solace so i couldn't hold on any longer. I didn't know what felt different about her that day but she was a sort of seduction to me!"

  "Shut up dummy, you were horny that's it!" Jeff blurted, that was the perfect description.

  "Find solace? Is that even reasonable at all?" I cautioned him this time "You could always find solace in your wife not under another woman's arms!" I added

  "Can you see why i I'm mad at him so bad? This is intentional. He did it on purpose!" Jeff added too

  "How could you say a thing like that? I wouldn't hurt Riley on purpose. I admit that I was wrong but i only did it the wrong way. I've acted stupid and way too dumb and I'm sorry to my friends and her but i badly need your help!" He icily said
