CHAPTER 52

Jay has not been around because he has been on tour for over a month. After a spectacular performance one night, he ran into a girl backstage and couldn't get his eyes off her. He kept looking at the girl as he was walking away then she went after him and gave him her card as she said "call me when you have the time. My name is Lily and I'm a big fan." 

Lily is a University student who has always crushed on Jay. When she heard that Jay will be coming over to her city, she couldn't wait to meet him because it was like the heavens have just blessed her by fulfilling her wish of meeting her best artiste and crush one day. She took out all her savings because she wanted to use it to bribe someone to get her backstage so that she can meet Jay.

Lily lives with her father and stepmother and her dream has always been to leave home someday because she is sick and tired of her stepmother treating her like trash. Her stepmother treats her like she is not a member of the family as she places her own children above her. Since the day that her father got married to her stepmother, Lily has refused to call her mum because her stepmother was her mother's best friend and Lilly never expected that two weeks after her mother's death she will find her mother's friend on the same bed with her father. The day that Lilly saw that, she was devastated as her mother has always trusted Nina her best friend. Every time that Lily's mother has a problem, the first person that she calls or runs to is Nina.

Lily wept for her mother when she saw how her mother's friend had betrayed her because she could remember the day she sneaked in on her mother and Nina while they were having a discussion. She heard her mother crying and telling Nina that her father is cheating on her with someone else and she is yet to know the person. Lily could remember that on that day, Nina was advising her mother to be calm and not try finding out who her husband was cheating on her with because it will bring her no joy knowing the person unknowing to her mother that Nina was the person that her father was cheating on her with.

Nina is a widow with two children. When Nina lost her husband in a tragic accident, Lily's mother was always there for her friend as there was almost nothing that Lily's mother did not do for her friend. During the period that Nina was mourning her husband, Lily's mother was the one who goes to Nina's house to encourage her, cook for her, and even take care of her children because it seems like Nina has lost her spirit all this time and at a point, she almost committed suicide but all thanks to Lily's mother who was there to rescue her and take her to the hospital where she was treated and given a therapist.

Lily's mother died of food poisoning and till today the case has not been resolved rather, it has been shoved under the carpet. Lily was so hurt at that period because her mother is the only person that she has on earth as her father was never there for her. She knows that it was Nina who poisoned her mother but nobody wants to believe her as they think that she is hurt because her father married her mother's friend which to many, is not an common practice because we find love in many unusual places according to them. Initially, when Nina married Lily's father Mr. Roberts, she was pretending to be nice to Lily until when she discovered that Lily's father s not care whether she was nice to his daughter or not.

The first act of punishment for Lily was that she was shipped down to a boarding school while Nina and her children remained at home. The boarding school that Lily was enrolled was not a standard one but Nina's children were attending the best schools in town. During that period, Lily came to know that most of her friends were fair-weather friends because most of them deserted her when they noticed that she has fallen out of grace in her father's site. They became friends to Beth and Debbie who are Nina's daughters.

 When Lily was done with her secondary school, she confronted her father one afternoon and asked him why he is treating her bad and treating the daughters of another man like they are his. That Confrontation of that afternoon earned her a beating and an extra year at home before going to the university. Because of  Lily, Nina fired the maids that they had at home and Lily became the official maid as she was required to cook, clean, and wash.

Lily's first boyfriend Joseph was scared away by Nina while the second one Jonathan was snatched by Beth. Lily became the Cinderella of her family but the only difference was that her father was still alive and he doesn't care one bit about her. With all the money that Lily's father had, Lily's tuition where never paid on time and sometimes she was forced to miss her exams. After that incident occurred three times, Lilly decided to get a job because she has seen that if she sits and wait for her father and Nina, she will never achieve her dreams.

Nina's children attends a private university and live in the best hostels where the wealthy ones live but Lily is forced to attend a government University and she goes from home. People that know Lily when her mother was alive will always say that she is a typical example of Riches to rags. Many people began to use Lily as an example when they talk to their children and try to make them understand what will happen to them when they lose their mothers.

Since the day that a friend introduced Jay's song to Lily, she became addicted to his songs to the point that she started to crush on him and there are many times where she has dreamt that she met Jay in person and she even gave him a hug. Lily doesn't even care about what Jay sings anymore as she will listen to it. She felt very jealous and even cried at the time when there were rumours that Jay was dating Chris but when she started to see Chris with Doja, she got very happy and even prayed sometimes that Chris never returns to him.

 Since the day that she heard that Jay will come to their town she has been preparing and saving up more money because she has promised herself that she must meet him and she was very grateful to her school that made all of them have a contact card. She knows that people like Jay will never have a second look at poor girls so she begged a friend of hers to lend her some clothes, makeup, and wig which she wore to the event.

She used all her savings to pay a guy that someone introduced to her and her friend that he is one of the people who can get her backstage where she can meet Jay alone without his crew.

That night, Lily was dressed to kill as she told herself that it was either tonight or never. All Lily wanted from Jay was a hug which she will cherish for the rest of her life. Her friend gave her a very short see-through dress which exposed her cleavage to the point that even Lily felt uncomfortable in the dress as she kept pulling it up and down. Even the heels that she was wearing were very uncomfortable because they were too high and she couldn't walk properly with them. The dress was so short that if Lily bends, her ass will be exposed but she still looks gorgeous and dashing in that red lipstick that was applied to her lips.

Jay kept looking at the young lady because she looks ravishing and one look at her eyes, made all the blood in Jay's body rush to his dick and he felt like he got an erection instantly. When she ran up to him and gave him her card, he noticed how unsteady she walked and how her voice was also shaky like she was scared and that made him laugh because she's not as confident as she looks. Her tardiness got him more attracted to her and after he collected her card and was walking away, he couldn't help but turn around and walk back to her. "You said your name is Lily. So what will you say Lily, if I tell you to come back with me let's have a few drinks tonight?" Jay noticed that she hesitated before saying "I... I'll be honoured." He smiled and lead the way to his car as they entered and zoomed off. Even though Jay invited the lady for a drink, within him he knows that he needs more than a drink tonight and she looks like she's going to be an easy lay, so what will it hurt to have one naive starstruck girl to himself tonight?

Lily's heart was beating very fast and she couldn't believe that she was going to have a drink with the almighty Jay. She was itching to take a selfie with him but she didn't know how it will look when she starts taking pictures. She tried holding back but she couldn't and she didn't know when her mouth opened on its own accord and asked Jay "can I take a selfie while you're driving?" Jay laughed and said "can girls ever help it? You are free to take a selfie but remember you said a selfie not selfies. "When Lily saw that Jay had no problem with her taking a selfie, she decided to change her question by saying "okay, can I take selfies please?" After she asked her question this time around, Jay did not say anything and just nodded his head so Lily decided to start taking pictures before he will change his mind. She was very surprised when he struck a pose in three of her pictures. She couldn't wait to show these pictures to her friend because if she tells her friend about this, her friend might never believe but these pictures will be the proof that she rode in the same car with her best musician and crush after his performance at the night of the event.

Innocent Lily who has never had sex was happy to be with Jay and she thought that all they will have tonight are just drinks and she was prepared to ask him many questions about his music career and how he went from rags to riches because she hopes to be like him someday. She knew that she will be in trouble for going home late tonight but she doesn't care as she told herself that her stepmother can do her worst but she must enjoy herself tonight and face the consequences later when she gets home because meeting Jay is worth all the trouble.

When they got to the hotel, Jay drove down to the underground parking lot and parked his car there before he walked into his hotel suite through an alternate entrance. Immediately they got in, he took off his jacket and poured a glass of wine for his guest. The way the young lady gulped down the wine when she collected the glass from him, made him know that she has no experience in wine drinking and that really surprised him because she doesn't look like a teenager so why is she so clueless. He decided to ask her age to be sure because some people look more mature than their age and the last thing he needs, is to be on the headline tomorrow saying that he had sex with a minor. "If you don't mind, I will like to know your age." Lily smiled at him and said "I am twenty three years old." Jay chuckled when he heard her age as he couldn't believe that she was twenty three, because she doesn't look like one. He almost told her that she was lying but saying that will ruin the mood and he really needs her tonight to pleasure him so he wouldn't want to lose his best option for the night. "You don't look twenty three to me, if you ask me to guess your age, I will say that you are nineteen years old." 

Lily laughed because the drink was already getting to her as she has drank three glasses of wine already. "Everyone says that and sometimes, my friends are ashamed of going out with me because they say that I make them look like children. There was even a time when I was nineteen years old that we went to a club and because of me, my friends were denied entrance because I made us look like we were underage. After that day, I was ostracized from the friendship group." As she was talking, she was also laughing alone because it was very funny to her especially as she is in a drunk state.

Jay picked up the bottle of wine and went close to her and filled up her glass again. Aftee he filled up her glass, she instantly gulped it down again and belched. Jay decided to drop the bottle as he saw that if he continues to fill up the glass of this village girl, she will keep drinking without knowing that she is getting drunk and the last thing he needed, was to get her dead drunk. Jay collected the wine glass from her and asked, "do you have a boyfriend?"

After hearing the question she instantly became sad as she said "my love life has been tragic because my stepmother scared my first love Joseph away from me while my step sister stole the second one. Since then, I have decided not to look at any guy again except you. I've been crushing on you for a very long time and it's very obvious because if you check my phone, you will see that I used your picture as my display picture. You have been the man of my dreams ever since my friend introduced me to your song but another truth is that the guys in my school do not ask me out because they find me weird. So you can see that you are also my shield because I always hide behind you by saying that I am only in love with one man and that is you.

Jay walked up to her and claimed her mouth in a kiss. He kissed her with so much hunger because he has not had a woman since he came on tour. He noticed that she doesn't know how to kiss and he wondered if she was pretending or being real. Their keys became heated and Jay carried her into his bedroom and laid her petite body on the bed. Her dress had already shifted up when he carried her and he lost all senses when he noticed that she wasn't wearing anything underneath the dress.
