Andrew is a grown man now and I think he has clear knowledge of what's good and what's bad. So there is no point trying to force him to follow our ways or lifestyle pattern. Am done trying to make someone live exactly the way I want
That's my husband's headache from now on and as for me, I would simply mind my business and enjoy my life to the fullest
"I need you to Massage my back tonight, so hey ready. I am going to take my bath now"- My husband said while walking straight towards me
"And why should I be the one to do that. Can't you go to the spa?"- I asked
"You will massage my back because you are my wife and it's my right or you won't like what would happen next"- He replied rudely
"Alright, it's okay. No need to yell, just call me when you are ready"- I replied while trying to rest my back and enjoy my show
Andrew's POV
At last, I can finally sleep in peace, knowing that no one would monitor my movement or try to command and force their rules and regulations on me.
I felt so relieved, more than I have ever been in years and the most interesting part of it all is that I am chilling with my close buddies. It's gonna be a fun night for us all
"Come on guys, let's head over to the dinning table for our dinner. I have prepared some fresh vegetables along with some fried potatoes."- Alexia called out
"Oh, we will be there in a jiffy, let me quickly finish up this form and make sure everything is all set"- Micheal replied
"What form is that?"- I asked with curiosity
"Nevermind, it's just an online form that I came across. It's a forex trading class and I would love to join"- He replied
I was quite surprised that Micheal is starting to show interest towards learning how to trade the forex market. Few years back, he was so scared and annoyed anytime he hears the word forex.
He once lost close to $70,000 while trading the market, but I guess he lost the money because he was a novice in the game. And he didn't want to settle down to learn before trading
"I thought you hated this forex of a thing back then bro"- I teased
"Yeah, I actually hated it when I lost all my money trading. But now, I have learnt from my mistakes and I would like to try again this time with a mentor by my side"- He replied with a smile
"When you two are done talking about this forex shit, you can com and eat your food. As for me and Gabriel, we are going to finish up ours and maybe eat yours if possible"- She interrupted
"I would likely eat theirs if they don't come to the dinning table on time"- Gabriel added
"You can eat mine, but be rest assured that I will tear it out of your stomach when I am hungry"- Micheal Replied jokingly
"So back to our discussion, why didn't you get a mentor at first or you just wanted to waste your money and why do you want to start investing in forex?"- I asked
"Well, at first I came across a video which opened my mind to the possibilities of being a forex trader and how wealthy you can become by analyzing and trading the market.
But I made a very big mistake by watching videos on how to trade instead of looking for a good mentor. I actually came across one back then but I was just too quick to get I go the market and start trading, I was so interested in making quick money"- He Replied
"But I don't get it, why do you want to start investing in forex when you are already rich. You are working in your dad's company and he pays you well, doesn't he?"- I asked looking so perplexed by his story
"You won't understand bro. There are some things I try to keep to myself and most times it makes me feel so uncomfortable"- He replied
"What's happening, you can talk to me or is it a secret you don't want to reveal"- I asked
"Not really, but I will tell you anyways"- He replied
He looked around to check if someone was watching us. What is he trying to do
"What's the problem. Why are you turning around to see if someone is coming"- I Replied
"I don't want to mention this in the presence of Alexia and I don't want her to ever know of this little secret that I am about to tell you"- He replied
"What's the secret then?"- I asked, looking so curious at this very moment
"Well, people actually think that I am making it big from my dad's company. But little do they know that they are some circumstances surrounding the whole issue.
My dad pays me just $30,000 monthly and he pays the Manager close to $150,000 monthly. He made me the assistant manager and pays me lower than the amount he pays the Manager"- He replied with a frown
"Why would he do such a thing, did you have any issues with him or did you make him angry?"- I asked
"The whole thing started when I started spending my money on women and drugs. I was the manager of the company few years back but my dad got angry when he found out that I was spending my entire salary on women and hard drugs.
I was a chain smoker back in the days and I most buy large tons of cocaine just for pleasure and relaxation. My salary as the manager back then was $170,000 per month and I often receive other bonuses along with my paycheck every month"- He said
I looked at him with shock because I would never for once believe that Micheal was once a chain smoker and a drug addict. And the worst thing is that he kept it all to himself all this while.
He didn't even mention it to his best friends and I am pretty sure that Alexia knows nothing about this. No wonder he was turning around to make sure that the coast was clear
"Bro I can't believe you kept all these from me all this while. Why would you do a thing like that, I thought we were best friends who share secrets with each other no matter what"- I replied
"If I wanted to keep it away from you, I won't be telling you right now. I was so ashamed to say it all these while because it might change the way you all will look at me.
My dad eventually caught in the club while sniffing some cocaine with some ladies in the club. He went mad that day and almost broke my head with a bottle, he even arrested me and made me spend five nights in jail. Those days were one of the most painful moments that I can't forget.
He freed me on the sixth day and it took me close to a month before he finally forgave me. But he swore never to allow me receive much money and that's why he demoted me to assistant manager and also reduced my monthly salary.
It's been a year since this incident happened and he has refused to increase my salary and promote me to my old position in the office"- He replied looking so down on himself
"Why is he still acting like that even when he knows that you are now a changed man?. It's kinda weird if you should ask me"- I replied
"That's why I want to learn about forex and build a financial stability path for myself. You won't believe that I had to beg my father for extra cash because I know that we would need a lot of cash to make this journey a memorable one.
it's high time I stop asking or working for my dad anymore. I want to know what's it's like to work for myself and make money elsewhere"- He replied
"You can't just walk away from your father's company like that, your idea is a nice one but you will need to become a master in forex trading before you can live the life you dream off and be financially free
But first thing first, we need to go and eat our food so that it doesn't get cold. I am very hungry right now"- I replied while making my way towards the dinning table
He followed me immediately, and Alexia was quite amused to see us walking towards the our food
"So you guys are finally hungry, I thought you want to chill and discuss like real men"- She teased
Gabriel has already finished his meal and he relaxed on his chair like someone who won a race. I bet his stomach is filled up already
"Well, I think it's time for us to eat ours before it gets cold. I love it when it's hot"- Michael replied with a smile on his face
We both ate for a while and I could swear that the food was so delicious and satisfying. Alexia is a good cook, Micheal is so lucky to have a girl like her
"So what's tomorrow going to be like, we should start making plans because we need to move early if we want to arrive Early"- Gabriel interrupted
He was actually right, we need to make plans on how we would get on the first flight heading for Atlanta Georgia if we want to arrive early
"Yes we actually need a plan but we will have to involve Kelvin in this discussion because he is not physically here right now and he needs to know about all the plans"- I Replied
"Why don't we just make the necessary arrangements and inform him after we have taken our final decision"- Michael suggested
"It won't be proper if we should see carry it out in that manner, it would seem unfair to just make decisions at his back. Who knows if he would be of help when we need so brilliant Ideas for tomorrow's trip"- Alexia spoke up
"Alright then, let's call him now and put the phone on loudspeaker so that everyone can hear him and also speak with him.
He may not be with us physically, but he can be here through the help of our cell phones"- I replied while bringing out my phone to dial Kelvin's number
"What's up dude, hope you are set for the big day ahead. Can't wait to witness the trill of tomorrow's journey"- Kelvin spoke out after answering the call
"Take it easy my man, we need to come up with a good plan first. Because you are not in the same location with us, so we will need to strategize our plans"- I replied
"Okay, so what's the big deal. I am all ears"- He replied
I switched the call to loudspeaker so that everyone could hear him loud and clear
"I have switched your call to loudspeaker, we are currently deliberating on how tomorrow's journey would be like
Left for me, I would say that everyone should be up by 6:00AM in the morning so that we can catch our flight by 8:00Am"- I said
"Sounds like a nice plan only if you don't end up sleeping like a dead man"- Micheal replied
"How do I sleep like a dead man?, have you seen me sleep before or have we slept close to each other before"- I asked with a funny face
"Not at all bro, but something tells me that you would probably sleep like a dead man this night and if we should wake you up tomorrow morning and you refuse to get up quickly.
I would personally pour cold water on face"- Micheal replied
