"This is actually the first time we are hanging out together, you haven't told me anything about your experiences in life or troubles. We are some how new to each other"- He replied
"oh I forgot that you weren't there when I shared the story with Kelvin and Andrew."- I said
"So what is it about, come on. Give me something to think about"- He replied jokingly
"Well, there was a time when things aa extremely hard for my family and as couldn't even eat three times a day because of no money and lack of job. We suffered so much in life and I was like an extra burden upon the family
So my dad opted out that I should move to Canada to stay with my uncle and start a new life there. But I turns out that my uncle is a gay"- I replied
Michael was quite shocked when he heard those words, he couldn't believe his ears, it was a dream to him and I could see the level shock through his eyes.
"I am really sorry about that bro. Never knew you went through all this suffering, I am indeed very sorry. But I believe things would be better now that you back here with us.
I will try my best to always look out and provide for you if the need arises, so just relax and let's enjoy for a bit"- He replied while touching my hair
I felt so happy knowing fully ware that I won't go back to the life of suffering anymore. I was just too happy to even to even remember my past life
All I could remember was the day I met Andrew and Kelvin. That particular day changed my life and that of my family forever
We got to the boutique after driving for a few minutes and I was indeed surprised by the clothes that I saw through the show glass.
I know this boutique and I usually pass through this direction most times when I am going to my mom's shop.
"Let's start our shopping spree bro. Come out and let me take you shopping"- Michael said while opening the door for me like a king
we both walked into the shop and I saw different kind of clothes ranging from trousers to designers t-shirts, shoes and others. I was completely blown away and I was speechless at the same time. Don't even know what to choose right now or maybe I should tell me that I want to come back later when I have a clear picture of what I want?
"Come on bro, let's be fast about it. You know we don't have all day and Andrew is waiting for us back at home"- Micheal replied while dragging me to the clothes section
I saw different variety of clothes and they were all amazing and lovely at the same time. I brought out some Nice T-shirt from the vast collection of shirts and Michael was somehow pleased with my choice.
We actually spent a lot of time until I was completely satisfied that I have chosen the correct variety of clothes that I want and just at that moment, Michael's phone rang
"Hey what's up dude. We will be back home in a moment, already on my way"- Micheal Replied, I guess it must be Andrew calling
"We are waiting for you. Please be fast or does Gabriel have any intention of spending the night here so that we can all leave together?"- Andrew asked
Michael looked at me for a while, obviously trying to see what I had in mind.
"Would you wanna spend the night with us so that we can all move out together very early?"- He asked
Spending a night with them is not a problem at all, but I am only worried because I would need to say Goodbye to my parents and I really want to get their lovely advice before I embark on the journey.
But let me ask my mom if she will be okay with the current development
"Just give a second let me text my mom right now. I need to get her opinion first before I can take any action right now"- I replied while bringing out my phone
I scrolled through my what's app chat and luckily for me, my mom was online. So I dropped her a message and she replied instantly. She said I could sleep over as long as I remain careful at all times.
I guess she will pass the message across to my dad once he gets home. What a relief
"So what did she say. Did she agree to the new changes?"- Micheal asked with curosity
"Yeah, she said I can sleep over at your place as long as I remain careful at all times. So we would head back to my place so that I can get my luggages"- I replied with a smile
"That's great. See you guys soon and I must say that your girlfriend is really giving a nice time here"- Andrew interrupted
Michael's mood changed immediately, he was obviously not happy with that last statement from Andrew and I can't find a suitable explanation to that
"I hope you aren't doing anything stupid or else I will cut off your dick and use it to prepare noodles"- Micheal Replied, sounding a little but angry
I knew he was actually joking because there is absolutely no way that Andrew will try to make out with his girlfriend or anything like that. He's a responsible guy and I respect him for that.
"No bro, why would you even think about such?. Just hurry up and get your asses over here"- Andrew replied as he ended the call
"So let's quickly pay for all this stuffs you bought and let's head back to your place for the luggages. We are behind schedule right now and I am already tired"- Micheal said with a low voice which indicated that he was a bit stressed out
I picked up some pair of sneakers from the shoe session and we both made our way to the reception so that Micheal can pay for the items. I definitely know that these items I took would cost a lot of money.
But Micheal was the one who asked for it and not me, so I shouldn't feel guilty if he pays so much money for the items I took.
"Welcome sir, I trust that you both had a great time choosing from our vast collection of clothes and shoes. May I see the items you took"- The receptionist replied in a soft tone, making fall in love with her voice
"Place the items on the shelf and let her calculate our bill"- Micheal called out to me
Why did he say our bill?. I hope he is aware that I don't have a dime on me to pay for all these expensive stuffs and there is no way we can return them because they made it clear that items that are removed from their position must be paid for.
So going against that rule definitely means we would immediately turn to their workers, because we will need to pay up for the items with our services
"I see your friend has a great taste for quality and fashionable outfits"- The receptionist said while checking the items one by one
"Yeah, I just want to make sure he gets the best and that's why I brought him here. Because I know and I trust your items"- Micheal Replied with a smile
"Well the total cost for the items here is $4000, would you like to pay with cash or through your ATM Card?"- The receptionist asked
The price was definitely overwhelming and I couldn't believe that all the clothes would amount to such. But it seems that Micheal has it all covered up real good
"I have some cash here with me and I think that would pay off the bills"- He said while dipping his hand into his pockets
He brought out a large bundle of cash and gave it to the teller, the amount there surely exceeds the total cost of what he is actually paying for
"That's $7000. Take the rest as your tip or as a token from me"- Micheal replied while taking his receipt from the receptionist
The receptionist was indeed very happy to receive such amount and the joy written all over her face gives me the impression that she really needed some financial assistance just like me
"Thank you so much sir. I don't know what to say, this is really huge and it would solve some of my problems right now"- The Receptionist Replied with joy on her face
"It's nothing, all I want to see is that everyone is happy. I just have a kind heart that prompts me to help people even when they don't seem to need it at that very moment"- He Replied while taking the items from the shelf
"I think I would take these to the car now"- I Replied while taking the items from his hand
I went straight to the car to wait for him and he was still inside even when I have arranged everything in the back seat. I thought he said he was tired or does he want to remain here for the whole day?
"Come on bro, we have a lot of things to do right now and time is not our friend anymore"- I called out to him from the parking lot and he immediately walked out through the front door after hearing my loud voice
"I really want to say thank you very much for the clothes and you also did something Memorable back there. God will richly bless you for that bro"- I said to him as we both entered the car
"Like I said, i have a heart that prompts me to help people and I don't even know the reason for such emotions"- He Replied
"Maybe it's God speaking to you through those tiny emotions"- I teased
He started the car and we charge with full speed so that we can get back to my house on time and pack up the things that I need for the trip.
We got home after a few minutes drive and I begged him to follow me inside so that we can both carry the luggage to make things faster. But after opening the front door, I was so shocked to see my father who was laying down on the sofa
"What's up son. Where are you both coming from?"- He asked with curiosity
seems my mom has not briefed him about the recent developments. And I know explaining it to him would definitely take much of our time
"Dad, there has been some recent developments and My Friend Andrew said that I should sleep over at his current location so that we can both leave for the airport on time tomorrow"- I replied while walking towards my dad
He was obviously surprised by the development and I could tell he wasn't happy about it at all
"I thought we were going to play our family game tonight?"- My dad asked
The family game night was one of the things that I cherish very well because we all play different games and try as much as possible to create fun out of it. We do play the game every Sunday evening.
But it seems that we are not going to play the game this time and I don't know how he is going to feel about it right now
"I am so sorry dad. But I promise that I will be back, i will be away only for a few weeks and that's all"- I Replied with a smile
"I understand son. I am indeed happy that you finally hanging out with your close friends. reminds me of mine back in the days"- He replied
