Feel Like Heaven

Few seconds passed and Kulture had not turned around. Owen could almost hear her heartbeats.

The whole thing was amusing to him.

"Kulture, are you always like this? I get it, I am handsome that you can't resist me. It's fine to crush but can you stop for one second and girl up and tell me why you are here. I haven't got all morning"

He persuaded her yet Kulture couldn't move from the spot she stood.

He reached out to her and turned her to face him and was surprised to see her eyes closed.

He assessed her from head to her toes, she had changed from her work outfits to something simple. A blue dress with white lace and a pair of black high heeled boots. She wasn't wearing any make up or accessories. And he found her absolutely pretty with her no make up face. Her lashes long like that of feathers and her lips succulent.

He found himself getting lost in them,

"Kulture, open your eyes"

He ordered politely, he didn't want to sound harsh yet he wanted her to say why she was there instead of standing like a zombie in front of him.

She slowly opened her eyes but rested it on his face. She was afraid of looking below his face in fear of seeing his dick rocky head. Funny enough, Owen hasn't realized he has rod in front of him.

"I was done with work, you know and decided to come tell you that taking your round town won't be a problem so you wouldn't think about it, that's all. Francis has told me about it this morning"

She said all that without catching her breath.

"Alright, that's very thoughtful of you then. Guess I will see you later"

As soon as the words left Owen's mouth, Kulture nodded, turned and hurriedly walked away, leaving Owen astonished by the attitude.

  "What's with the attitude?"

He mused and closed his door. He made a step and looked now at himself. His eyes widened and cursed.

Shit, this must has scared her"

He said looking at his standing rod

    *****

Seated in the cab, Kulture could not stop thinking about what she saw. It is really embarrassing for her. Her face kept getting red and red.

"Why did I even went to see him? Francis could have done it"

She kept saying in her mind.

After a ten minutes drive from the hotel, the cab stopped and she  alighted.

She stood in front of her parents apartment. The neighborhood was quiet as usual.

The soft breeze of the early morning sweep swiftly through her hair making her look more beautiful than ever before, it's almost feel like heaven.

She brushed the strandle of her behind ears and took a deep breath then started walking towards the passage.

The door was slightly open. She walked into the living room and there sitting on the couch was her father.

He was wearing his old pair of jeans and a plain white t-shirt with a black belt and a black shoe.

  "Morning dad"

She greeted her father looking at him all over

  "Morning precious"

He stood up and kissed her forehead then made her sit down.

"You look exhausted, work I guess?"

He looked unhappy seeing her look so stressed out.

"You don't have worry about it, it's just for a while. Mercy had her operation already so there is no need to work extra again"

She said trying to cheer her sad father up

"I know but I'm still worried about you, you should take care of yourself okay?"

"I will daddy. Mom has not come home yet?"

She asked him and he smiled gently

"No, she said she is staying overtime. she wants to be there when your sister will wake up. I was waiting for you to come home for me to leave. I want to be there to see her wake up too"

   Kulture nodded,

"She is going to be so happy knowing that she won't die anymore. I guess I will come with you too"

"No darling, you don't have to. You need to rest, your have dark circles under your eyes. I wouldn't want you to breakdown knowing fully well that you will still go to work later today"

Anger and pain flashed in her eyes but she knew that her father was right, she didn't want to lose sleep.

she sighed,

"Okay, I will rest a little"

   She replied, standing up.

"Francis is around and he is bringing a friend"

She said with her back already facing her father.

"Alright, God bless him for us"

"Sure dad, he is a good man. Not everyone will do what he just did. Mercy is lucky to have him"

She said as a matter of factly.

"And I am lucky to have you both. You know, no matter how hard things are for us, we will come through them"

  "I Know dad"

She mumbled as she walked away.
