An Unwanted Visitor

 Jenny's point of view...

While Zain went to the living room to see a movie, I walked to my room to see Tasha. The earlier I inform her about leaving the better for she and I.

I knocked and  the door opened a second later.

  "Hi, it's you'"

She said then turned and left the door. I walked in and closed it behind me.

  "Tasha, we need to talk"

Her face seemed to brighten at my word.

She walked up to me then pulled on my sleeves and whispered, "What's wrong? is it Zain?"

"No, it's about you"

She looked back at me and raised an eyebrow.

 "About me? what about me?"

I sighed then decided to tell her, "You are leaving"

She looked surprised at what I said. Her eyes wide open. She let go of my sleeve then sat down on her bed with a thud. She did not see that coming.

"Oh! you want me to leave here?"

I nodded.

"Why do you want that?"

she asked.

I took a deep breath.

"Zain and I are going on vacation" I responded and her face clouded.

This time her expression was one I didn't recognize. It was one I have never seen before and for a moment I wondered if I have done something wrong.

"So you both are going on vacation huh?"

She asked not looking at me "and you want me to leave because I have got to go, am I right?"

"Yes, Tasha. I am sure you are not expecting Zain to leave you here while we go on vacation?. You can come back when we return"

"Off course, I could always come back as the best friend I am. What about Lizzy?"

She questioned still not looking at me.

   "She is not staying too"

I assured her.

"Oh! I see But Jenny, have you forgotten school is in three months time?" She asked, this time around looking at me. Her expression did not not seem to change.

"I don't tend to forget school"

I replied folding my arms.

"I thought I should remind you. I am sure you remembered how it was last time. I would not be here to clean up your mess again. Since you decide not to see things the way they are, I wish you good luck and the strength to bare premium heartbreak when it Comes"

I had enough, I turned to the door but before walking out I added," and don't worry Tasha, I will make sure to guard my heart from heartbreak and in case it comes, I will bear it alone. Thanks anyway"

With those words I left, slamming the door behind me, I breathed in a sigh of relief, I headed to the living room as well.

Tasha's point of view...

The moment she left, I stood up and slammed the pillow on the bed.

"Can you imagine the audacity she had to tell me she is going on a vacation with Zain? Oh Jenny, you really overdoing things and I wouldn't be blame if I do something drastic"

I fumed shaking my head.

Suddenly, an idea formed in my head and I smiled.

"Let me see how she would go on vacation with Zain"

I mused,a wicked grin appearing on my face.

  Zain's point of view...

Jenny joined me in the living room looking sad and I knew it has to do with her talking to Tasha to leave.

"It's fine, you don't have to look so grumpy about it."

I consoled her with my hands reaching out to her.

She took it and came closer to me.

"Alright, I am cheered up now"

She replied and we both started watching the movie I was on before she joined me.

For number of minutes we said nothing to each other, I was just enjoying the feeling of her skin on mine, Soft and delicate.

She sighed and put her head on my lap and as in a cue, the main doorbell rang and she sprangle up.

  "Where are you going?"

I questioned as I stood up.

"To get the door off course,"

She replied walking forward. I chuckled and called her back," don't worry, let me get the door."

I walked to the door and opened it and guess what, an unwanted visitor was standing right there looking at of place. I didn't expect him to be the one knocking.

  "Dr Emmanuel!"

I muttered and jammed the door on his face.

He has the nerve to bring his cheating, lying face to my doorstep. He is damned lucky I am in a very good mood.
