The Defeat
Surprisingly as Gui Shan placed his hands on the stone, it glowed as though Gui Shan held the sun.
Everyone was amazed including the masters. Because it's always rare to find individuals with that amount of Qi.
All the student cheered Gui Shan as no one expected he had so much potential in him. Gui Shan was eventually declared the winner and the prize came to him.
Gui Shan returned to his seat with self esteem. His fellow wing members congratulated him, Tang Tang cheered him more despite the fact they were from a different team.
Chu Cao felt defeated, and the reason it was painful to her is because the defeat came from a first year student.

The celebration came to an end students were asked to return to their dorms and resume training the next day at their various training camps.
Each wing segment have their own training ground and hall. So the students are to report at their various training ground the next day.
Gui Shan was brimming with expectations, because he has always wished to become more stronger in order to protect those around him.
Training was to begin the next day, all the new students anticipated what the training would look like.
That night Gui Shan couldn't wait for the next day, he woke up twice until day broke.
The next day came, the new students went to their different wings and training camp. Gui Shan got there on time and viewed the training ground.
Each wing had a manor and the students are to reside in their wing manor. This was unknown to them.
*CRIMSON LION WING*
Entering into the Crimson's manor, Gui Shan met senior Tan Ning in the main chamber.
"Good morning senior", Gui Shan greeted.
"Good morning, and were are your fellow newbies?", he asked.
"I guess they must be on their way", Gui Shan said.
"But they are quite behind time", Senior Tan Ning said.
Just before he completed his statement, Ru Yuo and Wan Fei arrived at the training ground.
"Good morning senior", they both greeted.
"I guess you guys haven't moved in?", Senior Tan Ning asked.
"Moved in...as in move from our dorm?", Gui Shan asked.
"Yes! The dorm has served its function",
"The dorm is not your permanent residence, it was only opened because of the entrance examination",
"You all are to move into the Crimson's manor today", Senior Tan Ning said.
Just as he finished his statement, Senior Han Xui and a second year student, Lu Han stepped in from their closets.
"Good morning seniors", they all greeted.
"Forget the formality, we are one family", senior Han Xui said.
"Where is master?", Gui Shan asked.
"Master Huang Ju is in his chamber doing his routine meditation and would be in seclusion for about two days", Tan Ning said.
"Then when would our training begin?", Gui Shan asked out of curiosity.
"Today of course, as your seniors, it's our duty to train you when master is away", Han Xui said.
They were then instructed to go to the study hall as they begin their training.
Both Gui Shan, Ru Yuo and Wan Fei headed for the study hall.
While they walked to the study hall, Ru Yuo began scolding Gui Shan.
"Do you know that you made me wait the whole morning for you, thinking we would be coming here together?", she said.
"Sorry for my uncaring attitude, I promise to make it up to you", Gui Shan said.
They arrived at the study room and to their surprise, they saw lots of books, scrolls and written catalogue.
They were all amazed and open mouthed.
"Why are you so surprised? This is just a little of our collections", Tan Ning said as they entered.
"Don't tell me we are to read all these books?", Wan Fei asked.
"Are you a lowbrow? Don't underestimate the power of the pen", Ru Yuo said to Wan Fei.
"So when is our training to start", Gui Shan asked.
"You won't do any physical training now, you would have to finish these books in two days time", Senior Han Xui said.
"Lu Han would be here to supervise you and ensure no one play smart", Tan Ning said.
"But there's no fun in reading", Gui Shan said as he murmured.
The seniors left the newbies under the watch of Lu Han.
Gui Shan is seen staring at the books wondering which one to begin with.

*PURPLE CLOUD WING*
Back in the purple cloud wing things were already heating up.
Hu Mei, Jin Xu and Yu Xuan had already arrived at the Purple cloud manor.

"Good morning seniors", they greeted.
"You may rise", Chen Feng said.
"I want to remind you that purple cloud wing is not a ace for the weak",
"We being able to take first place in the academy is due to our intense and strict training",
"Failure is not an option", Chu Feng said.
They addressed the new students that idleness would not be condoned and master Yang Jun can't stand weak fellows.
"I want to bring to your notice that the academy's Inter-wing competition is just two months from now",
"The competition is aimed at measuring the ability of the students in each wing and only one wing would emerge as the winner", Senior Chu Cao added.
"Where is master", Hu Mei asked.
"He's waiting for us all at the training zone", Chen Feng said.
They all went out of the main chamber to meet master Yang Jun in the training zone.
"Good morning master", they all greeted.
"Good morning students",
"I can see our new students are up and doing",
"But I desire that you put in your best into the training, there in no room to slack", master Yang Jun said.
After addressing them, he declared that training should begin.
"For you to become a master of kungfu and sword art, you need lots of training",
"We only have two months to prove that our students are the best and I urge you to stick to it training you would be given", he said.
But before the training, he ordered that they should be given their wing's outfit which was embroidered with a purple colouration.
The new students all wore the outfits and were fully pledge students of the purple cloud wing.
"Our training would base on your senses, vision, hearing, strength and footwork".
"In our today's training, we are going to begin by training our senses and state of mind", master Yang Jun said.

*SILVER EAGLES WING*
Meanwhile in the silver eagles wing, Bi Yao, Tang Tang and Mao Li had earlier arrived at the Silver manor.
The manor was characterized by its splendid appearance, as though it was made with silver.
Tang Tang was overwhelmed and was carried away by the appearance.
"What do you think of this place", Tang Tang asked Bi Yao.
"I think it's just fine", she responded.
"What are you guys blabbering about", a voice sounded from behind them.
It was Wan Quaing, a second year student, who was known for his intimidating behavior to people.
They are gazed in surprise and postrated as the other seniors marched in.
"Good morning seniors", they all echoed as Qin Feiye and Xiang Wu stepped in.
"Good morning", Qin Feiye responded.
"Hope we all had a great night".
"Welcome to the Silver eagles wing and I want you to know that it's a place for highflyers",
"There is no room to slack back. Hope you put in your best into this training", she said.
But before the training, she ordered that they should be given their wing's outfit which was embroidered with a silver design.
The new students all wore the outfits and were fully pledge students of the silver eagles wing.
"I wish to announce that our training for this two months would be base on your senses, vision, hearing, strength and footwork", Qin Feiye said.
The new students were all brimming with expectations at the moment.
"But I want you to know that it's going to be a tough training and only the strong minded can make it through", she said.
Just after that, master Lin Fei stepped in an ordered that the training begin.
"I want you to know that no disappointment is allowed",
"Do your best as the training commences now", master Lin Fei said.
They soon began their training that day. They started by training their sense and state of mind.

Gui Shan is seen reading a book on "The state of the mind".
He seems deeply focused on the book he was reading but got distracted by the sound of Ru Yuo's voice.
"Gui Shan you seem to have developed an interest in reading over the past few hours", she asked.
"Since there is no training for now, should I sit idly? Though I seem to enjoy this book", Gui Shan said as he gazed back into the book.
Wan Fei was seen in a conversation with Lu Han, the second year student.
