They just wanted to get stronger and stronger. Master Yang Jun saw their hunger and passion during training. They didn't relent or slack for a single moment.
"If this trend continues, I believe my students would be unbreakable", he said.
He then decided to teach his students other secret technique they can rely on in battles. He also strengthened their yellow palm technique.
And the aspect which gladdens master Yang Jun's heart was the fact that they were catching up pretty fast and getting through with the training.
...
Students in the Silver eagles wing also seem to be doing pretty well. Tang Tang on his part had began serious training, he had dropped all his lax attitude and looked into the bigger picture.
Bi Yao on her part was bent on getting stronger and stronger.
"I don't want to be a burden to Gui Shan...I must be stronger", she would always say.
Mao Li on the other hand was working on his precision and reaction time. He would try moving swiftly with different kungfu moves and repeated these several times.
All the other senior students are neither slacking in their training. They sought to get stronger than master Lin Fei and they did this by pushing themselves pretty hard.

It was another morning, although the previous day seemed hectic, the students braced up for continual training.
Meanwhile in the Crimson lion wing, master Huang Ju keeping to his words was ready to train Gui Shan.
Gui Shan was unaware of what the training would look like. Considering the fact that he did some wolf training the previous night and needs some rest.
As he was still enjoying his sleep, he heard someone knocking at his door. He rose up to see who was knocking and to his surprise, it was master Huang Ju's messenger.
"Good morning Gui Shan. Master Huang Ju requests your presence in his chambers", the messenger said.
Gui Shan on hearing this immediately rushed to take his bath. He didn't have time to take his breakfast, so he quickly wore his clothes and rushed to master Huang Ju's chamber.
On getting there he saw master Huang Ju already dressed. "Good morning master", Gui Shan said.
"Morning Gui Shan, hope you had a good night rest?" Master Huang Ju asked.
"Yes master", he said.
"Master, with you already dressed up, it seems we have somewhere to go", Gui Shan said.
"Good instincts, you're right", master Huang Ju said.
"Starting from today we're going to our new training ground", he said.
"What training ground? I thought we are to train only within the academy?" Gui Shan asked.
"Yes you're right. Remember that during the Inter-wing competition, we got access to the academy's secret pavilion in the ancestral temple", master Huang Ju said.
"So starting from today, we'll begin our training there", he said.
After the conversation, they both head out for the ancestral training. The other students watched master Huang Ju take Gui Shan out.
"I just pray master Huang Ju wouldn't be too hard on him", Ru Yuo said within herself.
Soon they arrived at the ancestral temple. Gui Shan at this point didn't know what form the training would take, but he hoped for the best.
"Starting with our training, we'll begin by meditating in the temple", master Huang Ju said.
"The temple is known to be filled with pure Qi and can quickly aid your advancement", he said.
So after this, he led Gui Shan into the temple and they began meditating.
"I want to abandon every other thoughts and focus on your meditation", master Huang Ju said.
After some hours of meditating, he gave Gui Shan some instructions.
"For you to be a strong and powerful martial artist, you need to know all the skills that are recorded in this scrolls", he said.
"After studying the skills, we'll go out and give it a trial",
"If you fail to study the scroll and find it impossible to understand, you would have to stay here until you master it", master Huang Ju said.
After hearing this, Gui Shan took a scroll and to his surprise, it contained so many skills, including the ones he thought didn't exist.
"Those skills were documented by the world's greatest martial artist and wolf warrior", he said.
On hearing 'wolf warrior', Gui Shan heaved a sigh.
"Why the sudden shock when you heard 'wolf warrior'?, Are you one of them?" Master Huang Ju asked to see Gui Shan's reaction.
"No, I was just amazed by how great and powerful they were to be able to develop these skill", Gui Shan said.
"Okay! You may now begin", master Huang Ju said as he left Gui Shan to read it himself all alone.
Gui Shan held the book and was gradually getting interest. He carefully studied a skill for that day.
After sometime, master Huang Ju returned to check his progress. "Are you done studying any skill?" he asked.
"Yes master! I would love to give it a try", he said.
So they went outside the temple in order to avoid damaging any valuables. Gui Shan then decided to put the skill he learnt to test.
Master Huang Ju gave him some distance and observed Gui Shan while sitting under a tree.
Gui Shan started by following all the steps and to his surprise he got a hang of it. He tried several times and was able to solidify it.
"Master! I did it", Gui Shan said.
Master Huang Ju was surprised because that very skill takes a whole day or two for any individual to master.
"I can see you're a rare talent", master Huang Ju said.
"But don't be too fluky, the test of the skill in two phase", he said.
"After learning a skill, you must try your possible best to get past me with the skill, using an attack",
"No matter how many times you fail, you must keep on trying till the training that day is over", master Huang Ju said.
Gui Shan was worried knowing that it'll be difficult to get past master Huang Ju, considering is many years of experience in close combat.
Gui Shan tried but didn't get an opportunity to even lay his fingers on master Huang Ju. Still, master Huang Ju insisted that Gui Shan must get past him.
That very day, Gui Shan tried all he could to attack and get over master Huang Ju but he failed. On several attempts, he always got beaten and knocked down by master Huang Ju.
The training was actually taking a toil on Gui Shan. He was training to his bones.
"If truly he wants to carry the burden of his destiny on his shoulders, he should be ready for what is far worse than this", master Huang said within himself considering that he was pretty hard on Gui Shan.
"I want him to learn it the hard way, after all, the best gold and silver is gotten from the hottest fire", he said within himself.
Training that day was over, but Gui Shan still couldn't get past master Huang Ju. They both returned back to the Crimson lion manor.
Upon Gui Shan's arrival at the Crimson manor, all the students looked in amazement and took pity on him. You could tell that Gui Shan had been through a hellish-like training.
Senior Tan Ning watched from a spot as they returned. He knew master Huang Ju from his young age and knows that he doesn't take rash decisions unless there is need for it.
He knew master Huang Ju had a reason for doing this, so he didn't object but decided to watch closely and see how things would turn out to be.
Ru Yuo upon seeing Gui Shan ran to meet up with him.
"Oh...poor Gui Shan...be strong okay", Ru Yuo said as she assisted Gui Shan return to his room.
She nursed Gui Shan that evening after noticing some slight bruises on his body. It was indeed a strenuous training for Gui Shan.
"Gui Shan... pls don't push yourself too hard...", Ru Yuo said out of pity.
"No need to worry too much, I'm doing this to get stronger", Gui Shan replied.
After nursing him, Ru Yuo left him to rest. Gui Shan seeing Ru Yuo left, locked his doors and continued resting.
"How do I do this?...how do I defeat master Huang Ju?...", Gui Shan thought for a while.
"I need to defeat him and move to the next one. I must see this as an opportunity to get stronger for the days ahead...", he thought.
"Good!!! I think I know what to do...I would ask Grandmaster Hun Feng to help me out in the course of my wolf training. After all, training in my subconscious mind doesn't expend any energy", he said.
So he concluded that he'll seek help from grandmaster Hun Feng. So as lay on his bed, he was able to transcend to his subconscious mind.
