Revenge Begotten

"So I wasn't abandoned", Gui Shan cried out.

"All these years, I've blamed my parents for being ruthless and abandoning me",

Mother! Father! I'm sorry for blaming you.

"Someone took you away from me, but you did all you could to protect me and keep me alive", he cried out.

I must vindicate you!

"The people who did this must pay!" Gui Shan screamed out.

His eyes were red and overflowing with tears. It never occured to master Huang Ju that it would cause Gui Shan do much pain as his present state.

Master Huang Ju tried to pacify Gui Shan, but he screamed out the more.

"I must be strong! I must train harder, I must get stronger and fight this injustice", Gui Shan said.

"Royal capital! Await my coming", Gui Shan said with a longing for vengeance in his heart.

Master Huang Ju did his by best to pacify him.

"Don't cry Gui Shan, karma would catch up with your parent's killers, you just have to get stronger and powerful",

"When the time is right, you'll get justice for your parents. For the time being, focus on your training", master Huang Ju said.

After some moment of silence, Gui Shan wiped his eyes and requested that they returned back home.

Both master Huang Ju and Gui Shan walked down as they returned to the manor. Gui Shan was lost in thoughts.

He couldn't just hold it back, he was pained to his heart. It was as though a fresh wound was opened in his heart.

They finally got to the Crimson lion manor. Ru Yuo was the first to spot Gui Shan, so she quickly ran to meet him.

But as she got close, she noticed the moody look on Gui Shan's face and then pondered why he had that look.

"Welcome back Gui Shan. Is there anything bothering you? Why the sad face?" Ru Yuo asked.

"Nothing much, I'm going to be fine", Gui Shan said in a hush tone.

Ru Yuo accompanied him to his room, but he requested to be alone for the rest of that day. As Gui Shan walked into his room, he shut his doors.

He then fell on his face and began weeping till his eyes got sore. After some moment of shedding tears...

"Stop it! Don't cry, just get stronger", Gui Shan said to himself.

After some sad moments, he decided to pay a visit to Grandmaster Hun Feng and inform him of the shocking news.

As usual, he meditated and successfully transcended to the subconscious realm of his mind. He then found himself in the old man's chamber.

Gui Shan was silent for a while when he arrived. Just then, Grandmaster Hun Feng noticed the gloominess in his face.

"Good day my son, why the sad look on your face?" the old man asked.

"Master Huang Ju just told me that my parents were actually murdered...", Gui Shan said as he burst into tears.

"Don't cry my son...what actually happened?" he asked.

"Someone plotted against my family and massacred the entire household", Gui Shan said.

"Master told me that my father was the last wolf warrior, who lived in the royal capital. His name was Fan Xian",

"According to my master, he was very powerful and invincible...but how could he die", Gui Shan said as he cried out.

"Take heart my son...this is your destiny. I want you to know that all these happened for a reason", the old man said.

"Nevertheless, seems to me that your family's massacre was a scheme to cut off the wolf bloodline",

"Lucky, you are still alive, thanks to your foster father", he want.

He then pacified Gui Shan as he  embraced him. "Take heart my son...", he said.

"But I want you to know that your identity must be kept a secret since you don't know those who were behind the death of your parents", he said.

"You have to remain hidden in order to avoid being a target", Grandmaster Hun Feng said.

"What then do you advice me to do master... right now, I feel chattered...", Gui Shan said as he wept.

"You have to be strong and face your destiny. Get stronger, only then would your voice be heard", old man Hun Feng said.

He then further encourage Gui Shan not to be driven by hatred, but fight for Justice.

After some lengthy conversation, Gui Shan was sent back to reality by master Hun Feng. He lay on his bed gazing up as he slept calmly.

   * * *

It was another beautiful morning, Gui Shan woke up as though nothing happened the previous night. He was full of life and energy.

He went about his daily activities and was getting ready for training that day. Gui Shan was set for training that day, so he headed for the ancestral temple as usual to begin another phase of training.

He arrived there and as usual saw master Huang Ju meditating in the temple.

"Good morning master", Gui Shan greeted.

"Morning Gui Shan, I can see you've grown", master Huang Ju said as he was amazed by how much Gui Shan changed after the sad news yesterday.

"Master, you taught me to be strong, so I must learn to get stronger", Gui Shan said.

"That's good to hear", master Huang Ju said.

"From today onward, you'll be training by yourself till I wish to teach you a new skill", he said.

"You can use this time to solidify the previous skills you've learnt", master Huang Ju said.

"Thank you master", Gui Shan said as he went out to begin training.

...

*SILVER EAGLES WING*

Meanwhile, news of Gui Shan's personal training with master Huang Ju had already reached the silver eagles wing.

Based on the information that they heard, Gui Shan was undergoing a difficult training as he often came back with cuts and bruises.

On that fateful, Tang Tang, Bi Yao alongside Mao Li were out in training as it was their daily routine.

They all seem to be improving greatly. Tang Tang now possess solid martial arts skills. Bi Yao desired to get stronger and stronger in order to protect herself and those she cared for.

Master Lin Fei from a distance watched her students especially Bi Yao. Bi Yao as her only successor, had been guided in the art of alchemy and apothecary.

Apart from her martial arts skills, she has greatly improved and refined her medicine skills. It was already noon and training was progressing well.

All of a sudden, Bi Yao was prompted to ask after Gui Shan.

"Tang Tang...have you been able to check on your friend Gui Shan and see how he's doing recently?" Bi Yao asked.

"You just reminded me... considering the difficult training he has been going through I should have visited him", Tang Tang.

"It's not my fault actually, I've had a lot on me lately but I'll see him soon", Tang Tang said.

"I just hope master Huang Ju is not going too hard on him", Bi Yao said.

Tang Tang on his own part was amazed.

"It never occured to me that you had so much affection for Gui Shan...it seems over the months, water has gone under the bridge", Tang Tang said laughing.

"None of your business", Bi Yao said as she shrugged her shoulders.

"Do you mind is we skip our training to see him?" Bi Yao asked.

"Hmmm...now I get the picture. But master Lin Fei is still watching us", he said.

"Okay! Here is the plan, immediately master Lin Fei leaves, we'll sneak out and pay him a visit", Tang Tang said.

"Is it okay?", he asked.

"Fine by me", Bi Yao replied.

So they continued with their training exercise. Master Lin Fei walked up to them as though she was coming to supervise them.

"Hmmm... I'll be leaving you to continue your training. I have some urgent business to attend to", master Lin Fei said as she left them.

Tang Tang and Bi Yao giggled as they heard this. Master Lin Fei turned back at them wondering why they giggled.

"Is anything the problem?" Master Lin Fei asked.

"No master", they responded.

After she was convinced, she left them to continue their training as she head out.

Immediately she left, Tang Tang and Bi Yao stopped and decided to go see Gui Shan.

"Bi Yao...now is our chance", Tang Tang said in a hush tone.

As they both were about to leave, Mao Li called their attention.

"What about me, I also want to see brother Gui Shan", Mao Li said.

"No...our absence would be so obvious, stay back and cover for us", Tang Tang said.

"Okay", Mao Li replied seeing he had no choice.

The two youngsters sneaked from their training ground and headed for the ancestral temple. They walked in corners to avoid being spotted.

They eventually found themselves in the ancestral temple. They hid among some trees and flowers close by as they scouted the area.
