After experiencing that, master Yang Jun didn't bother to continue, so he ended the training session for that day abruptly. Although the students didn't notice, but that was the fact.
"Gui Shan never stops to amaze me every single day. I wonder where he learnt all those," Hu Mei said to Chen Feng.
"Yes, he'll indeed be a great warrior," Chen Feng said.
After the training that day, they all returned back to their various wings. While master Yang Jun went to meet up with principal Ming and report the status of the training.
Master Yang Jun still feeling the impact of Gui Shan's skill went ahead to meet principal Ming.
Immediately he arrived there, they exchanged pleasantries as he went straight to his reason for coming.
"How did the training go, hope they are improving?" Principal Ming asked.
"They are all doing fine Elder Ming. But there's something I strange of about Gui Shan," master Yang Jun said.
"I discovered that Gui Shan has a strong internal energy which I fear is higher than that of the masters in the academy which is very unusual," he said.
"Hahaha... seems master Huang Ju's training was effective on him," principal Ming said.
"Elder you don't get what I mean, among the other students that passed through the training, none of them possessed such strong internal force he possesses," master Yang Jun said.
"Perhaps he's a quick learner and surpassed all the other candidates during the course of the training," principal Ming said.
"I think he's a rare talent the academy should be proud of," he added.
This statement actually made master Yang Jun pissed off.
"Elder Ming, I think he is a possible threat since we don't know his background," master Yang Jun said.
"Don't worry, I think Gui Shan has good intentions for humanity, we just have to follow fate," principal Ming said as he smiled.
"It seems Elder Ming is keeping something away from me. I guess I'll uncover the truth myself," master Yang Jun said to himself.
After the conversation ended, master Yang Jun returned back to his wing manor as he left principal Ming all alone.
"Gui Shan...Gui Shan..., You never cease to interest me. I guess I need to check Gui Shan out myself tomorrow, seems he's so extraordinary," principal Ming said within himself.
That day was gone, it was eventually night. All the students in the academy retired from their activities and went to bed.
Meanwhile the selected candidates in their various rooms were still awake. The thought of training the next day was what thrilled them. To some others, they couldn't wait to get to the capital.
...
It was eventually another day. As usual, the selected candidates all reported at the ancestral temple for their training.
But to their surprise, unlike the training from the other masters, principal Ming was already present at the training ground meditating.
As the students came in one by one, they were shocked to see that principal Ming got in before them. After some few minutes, they were all present and stood facing principal Ming.
They all anticipated their next phase of training. Since it was going to be the first time principal Ming would be training them personally.
After waiting for a while, some of them began muttering some words.
"Uuhhh...this would be the first time principal Ming would be training us. I wonder what his training would base on, I can't wait for it," Tan Ning said within himself.
Just then, principal Ming stopped his meditation as he stood up to address the students.
"Good morning Elder Ming," the students resounded.
"Morning students. Not bad, seems you all anticipating the martial arts competition with high hope," he responded.
"Yes Elder," they all responded.
"That's good to hear," principal Ming said.
"To the business of today, for the next two weeks, I'll be teaching you some of the academy's secret art technique since this may be your last training with me and in the academy," principal Ming said.
On hearing this, excitement welled up in the candidates as everyone had an eye for the academy's secret art technique. So they all started muttering some words.
"Silence. I want you to be aware that these techniques aren't ordinary martial arts skills, since they require concentration and a free mind," principal Ming said.
"During the course of the training, I'll be teaching you all the academy's four fold techniques,"
"These are the techniques that have aided the survival of the academy and spread our fame all over Wushu kingdom. It would be a shame if none of our students possess an ounce knowledge of it," principal Ming said.
In this moment, all the students were absorbed in principal Ming's words as they longed to learn these techniques.
"Here are the four techniques;
'Qi breaking punch technique', 'Yellow palm technique', 'Teleportation technique', and 'Telepathy technique'.
"Although, you may have witnessed your masters use some of these techniques or perhaps have been privileged to learn them in a basic form. I'll urge you to pay attention and learn the complete set," principal Ming said.
"I believe in two weeks time, you all should have mastered all four techniques," he added.
"Are we ready?" principal Ming asked.
"Yes Elder," the students resounded.
"Good," he said.
"Today, we'll begin with the 'Qi breaking punch technique'," Elder Ming said.
All the students paid rapt attention as principal Ming began with the training.
"This technique is a very powerful technique," principal Ming added.
"To use this technique, one would gather Qi in his palm and direct them to the fingers pointing them out as an arrow."
"With this force, one would then thrust the chest of your opponent. This force destabilizes and breaks Qi flow in your opponents vital points."
"Performing this technique requires precise direction and manipulation of Qi," principal Ming added.
"Woah... amazing," Hu Mei exclaimed.
"Don't get too excited yet, it takes days of practice to perfect it but I hope in the next few days, you all can master it without exception," principal Ming said.
"Now watch me," principal Ming said as he took a deep breath.
Principal Ming then turned to a nearby tree, gathered all his Qi in his core and directed it to his finger which pointed to the tree. With that force, he thrust the tree.
With the impact of the force, the tree was in shreds as the impact was spread all over. The students were impressed by the demonstration and were eager to give it a try.
One by one, they came out and did as principal Ming did but we're not able to get it right. Before their second trial, principal Ming gave them some pointers and urged them to concentrate their energy carefully.
On a second trial, they were able to perform the technique with a little impact on the tree. But as usual, that of Gui Shan was so great that the tree was already down in shreds upon his second trial.
Principal Ming was impressed, same with the students as everyone stared at Gui Shan with much amazement. Gui Shan on the other hand was feeling uneasy as everyone gazed on him.
"Good work. I'm glad you all grasped it. Although it wasn't as effective as mine, I believe you all goy understanding of what I meant."
"Training continues tomorrow, and do well to be punctual," principal Ming said.
After that the students returned back to their various wings to rest.
...
The students trained continuously and in a span of three days, they were all able to perform the 'Qi breaking punch technique'.
...
It was another day of training, specifically the fifth day of their training with principal Ming. As usual, they all reported at the ancestral temple.
Training began that morning with principal Ming.
"I'm glad that you all were able to master the 'Qi breaking punch technique', so we'll then move to the next phase of our training," principal Ming said.
"We'll move on to the next technique, which is the 'Yellow palm technique'."
"Most martial artist usually learn the weak form of this technique. But I'll be teaching you the full form of the technique," principal Ming said.
"In this technique, you well up all your Qi core, accumulate a large amount in your palm that when released can forcefully repel anything on it's way."
"With this technique, you can blow down a whole tree from it's root and break open a door," principal Ming said.
"Although the pattern of the technique looks similar to the previous one, this palm technique requires a greater amount of Qi."
"Just watch me as I perform the technique," principal Ming said.
Principal Ming like the previous teaching stood in front of a tree, welled up his Qi in his core, accumulated enough in his palm and released it.
Everything that were in range of the technique were blown away. The tree itself was broken in half with one part flying away. The grasses also were brushed away by the force.
Even the students felt the impact of the technique.
