The Final Round: Gui Shan vs Bao Bao

Gui Shan moved swiftly with so much force and aura. The crowd watched in surprise as they saw the competition taking a new turn.

The air pressure that followed his punches were so intense that Wu Zhu couldn't stand a chance.

Wu Zhu became pissed off, so in an instant he decided to use his technique.

"I'm not sure you can survive this attack, because I'm about to use a technique that would squash your arrogance," Wu Zhu said.

Gui Shan maintained a distance as he watched Wu Zhu. Just then, Wu Zhu weaved his usual sign and sprung forward with his attack.

The felt it as Wu Zhu moved straight at Gui Shan with that heavy attack. But to Wu Zhu's surprise, Gui Shan didn't move or evade his attack.

As the punch was about to land, Gui Shan smashed his hand against the technique. It was a great airburst, everyone felt the energy that dispersed.

Wu Zhu was shocked, the technique didn't even move Gui Shan an inch. Gui Shan then kicked him away with so much force.

Everyone were amazed and silent, because Gui Shan's strength and power, threw them off board.

"Never knew Guiyi academy had such a powerful student," the emperor said to eunuch Wang.

"I think he's a rare talent," eunuch Wang said.

"I'm confused...but the technique worked on you earlier...," Wu Zhu said.

"I was just playing then," Gui Shan said as he stepped forward.

Just then, Gui Shan walked towards him. Wu Zhu, including the crowd thought that Gui Shan wanted to give him a finishing blow.

But to their surprise, Gui Shan gathered enough Qi and blocked hi Yang meridian. Wu Zhu felt instantly powerless.

Wu Zhu immediately ran off the stage in fear and shame.

Just then, there was an uproar as the crowd screamed Guiyi academy. The shouting continued for some minutes before it was then calmed down by vice general Qing Wu.

Gui Shan was then declared the winner of that round. He then climbed down to meet the rest of his academy members.

"Gui Shan you did great, I'm proud of you," Elder Si Yin said.

"Gui Shan... I've always believed in you," Bi Yao said passionately.

"Ahem! I believe you all can't wait for the final match. Seems there are lots of surprises awaiting us in the last round," vice general Qing Wu said as the crowd cheered even more.

We have just two candidates left, so the last round of the competition would be between;

'Bao Bao' of blue moon academy vs 'Gui Shan' of Guiyi academy.

The crowd cheered even more as the contestants climbed up the stage. Gui Shan and Bao Bao then stood some distance apart as they gazed at each other.

"Seems there is something special about this boy, he seems to use the skill lieutenant Zi Lan talked about,"

"If I succeed in killing him right here and now, I think poison master would take it as a credit for me," Bao Bao said within himself.

Suddenly, Bao Bao started moving round the ring. Gui Shan who was also cautious moved away. The of them turned in circles as they watched each other carefully.

"Seem to me you won't be much of a challenge. After all, where is that bold and powerful you used not quite long? Why chicken hearted all of a sudden?... hahaha," Bao Bao said as he laughed.

"I can't engage in a word fight with you now, but the end of the match would depict our strength," Gui Shan said.

"Well said, let's begin then," Bao Bao said as he took a fighting stance.

Before Gui Shan could realize, Bao Bao was already at him attacking him. Gui Shan due to his training has a quick reaction time, so he was able to evade the unexpected attack.

He drifted back in a way in order to get space to level up to wolf mode, but before he could catch his breath, Bao Bao was already at him.

"I wouldn't give a chance to use that your technique again," Bao Bao said as he kept on attacking Gui Shan.

The crowd were surprised considering the strength gap between the both of them at that moment.

"Why hasn't he be able to fight back, wasn't he the one who was fighting so fiercely not quite long ago?" Emperor Ye Xinlong asked eunuch Wang.

"Perhaps he has reached his limits," eunuch Wang said.

"I don't think so, let's watch and see," the emperor said.

Gui Shan at this moment had been on the defensive side. At this point, he seems to be overpowered by Bao, considering the fact that Bao Bao was going all out.

"I think I need to act fast as use the 'dark subduing palm' to end this fight," he said within himself as he attacked Gui Shan progressively.

Immediately, he performed the technique, Bao Bao went straight and hit Gui Shan with the 'dark subduing palm'.

Gui Shan wasn't aware that was the 'dark subduing palm', so he decided to brace it with his hands. But unfortunately for Gui Shan, he was sent flying to the ground, he even sustained an injury and spat blood from his mouth.

"Two more of the technique, you are done for... hahaha... hahaha," Bao Bao said as he laughed.

Just Gui Shan remembered that was the same thing lieutenant Zi Lan said while using the 'dark subduing palm'. It was then it occured to him he was actually fighting a member of the poison tribe.

He was raged by the thought of this. Meanwhile, Bao Bao was preparing to land the second blow using the technique.

Surprisingly, with that rage, Gui Shan leveled up to wolf mode in an instant just as it happened with master Yang Jun.

This time around, he even advanced to stage three of earth level stage. Just as Bao Bao was about to land the blow, there was an outburst of energy from within Gui Shan as he leveled up.

Bao Bao's technique backlashed because of the air pressure Gui Shan released alongside the energy flow.

Everyone within that range felt the power and aura that was all over Gui Shan in that instant. Gui Shan stood up from the ground looking fierce and powerful.

Gui Shan gave Bao Bao a signal to come at him. Bao Bao who was enraged by turn out things, attacked Gui Shan using the 'dark subduing palm'.

As he was about to land the attack, Gui Shan flicked it away with a wave of his hands and have Bao Bao a punch which sent him flying to the ground.

Everyone were surprised by how Gui Shan got so powerful all of a sudden.

"Impressive! I knew he wasn't going all out in the first place," the emperor said to eunuch Wang, referring to Gui Shan.

Bao Bao tried all the different techniques he had been taught, but they were all ineffective on Gui Shan.

"Hahaha...you think I would give up and bow to you? No! I'll use my last but most powerful technique. I didn't know that a Guiyi academy student would push me to do this," Bao Bao said.

Immediately Bao Bao said, he weaved a sign and suddenly, the atmosphere around him changed and became darker. He was using a forbidden technique of the poison tribe.

The crowd drifted back from his direction when they saw him do this.

"Gui Shan be careful," Bi Yao shouted from the crowd.

"Hahaha...now no one can stop me. I must crush you today... hahaha... hahaha...," Bao Bao said.

Vice general Qing Wu climbed up the stage and was about to call off the fight. But Bao Bao had grown powerful than he expected.

"Don't worry vice general Qing Wu, I can handle him. Just believe in me," Gui Shan said.

Bao Bao at this moment was gathering dark Qi in his hand which could any ordinary individual in an instant.

Just then, Gui Shan decided to use 'Yellow palm technique' principal Ming taught them. He hasn't tried it on wolf mode, but his instincts told him to do so.

The both of them came at each other with their attacks. Both forces clashed, and there was an air-burst considering the amount of energy released by them.

But Gui Shan's attack seem more powerful. Bao Bao was sent flying in his direction, even the stage was destroyed by the effect of the technique.

Everyone felt the air pressure of the technique and ran away from that direction. They were amazed by the strength Gui Shan possessed. To the crowd, it was a terrifying one that they believed only masters and grandmasters should possess.

Bao Bao on the floor moaned in pains, knowing he has lost he quickly sought for a means to escape. Quick witted as he acted fast.

Just as Gui Shan came down to lay hold on him, Bao Bao teleported using the secret art of the poison tribe.

The crowd was shocked that Bao Bao suddenly disappeared after his defeat. There was an uproar as the people were now in a confused state.
