"During the last battle, it was only the wolf warrior that was able to defeat him," Qing Wu said.

"So our training would be rigorous as we await battle anytime soon," he said.

After addressing them, he instructed them to get their belongings and move into the quarters prepared for them as they awaited training the next day.

So one by one, the candidates returned to their various accommodations. Gui Shan and the others also returned back to the inn in order to get their belongings.

On getting to the inn, they walked straight to their room. Upon opening the door, they saw Elder Si Yin taking a nap.

"Welcome back...you guys are a bit early today, hope there is no problem?" Elder Si Yin asked.

"Actually, not a serious problem...," Chen Feng said.

"Master sincerely speaking, we were all asked to move into the royal estate. Chen Feng just felt for you, that's why he was hesitant," Hu Mei said.

"I've always prepared for this moment. I know it would come, but I didn't anticipate this moment. Indeed it has been a nice and memorable time with you guys," Elder Si Yin said.

"But master won't you feel lonely???" Gui Shan asked.

Meanwhile, while others walked in the direction that led to the quarters. Hu Mei and Bi Yao signalled the others that it was time for them to part.

"Guys, we've been exempted from staying in the quarters, so we would be living in the royal courts with our parents," Hu Mei said.

"See you all at the training tomorrow," Bi Yao said as she waved her hands.

"Ugh...so Bi Yao would be letting me stay alone...," Qin Feiye said as though she sobbed.

The other four of them continued moving as they went to the quarters. On getting there, they met some soldiers from the wolf troop who were there to direct them.

The quarter comprised of the male and female dorm, so the males and females were separated.

Gui Shan, Chen Feng, Tan Ning amongst others, were directed to the male's dorm by two soldiers from the wolf troop.

They entered a very large room which had different bed spaces. So they instructed to chose any space of their choice.

Just as Gui Shan moved and unpacked his things, the wolf token that has always been in his breast pocket fell to the ground and gave a tinkling and distracting sound.

The attention of everyone went towards that direction. The rest of the students seeing it was just a token, continued with what they did.

"Ahhh...," the two soldiers exclaimed as they saw the token that fell from Gui Shan. At a glimpse of it, they instantly knew it was the wolf token.

Gui Shan at this point saw the surprise in their eyes and knew they had recognized it, so he quickly picked up the token and kept it back in his breast pocket.

Gui Shan continued what he was doing as though nothing happened.

At that moment, one of the soldiers reminded them of training the next day, and asked them to ensure they are punctual at the training ground.

Meanwhile, as both soldiers left the male dorm, they moved swiftly in different directions, considering the weight of what they just discovered.

Funny enough, both soldiers had their loyalty ascribed to different masters. While one headed back to the base of the wolf troop, the other went to the royal court, where eunuch Wang resided.

Being one of those who knew the true story behind the murder of Gui Shan's parents on that fateful night.

One getting to eunuch Wang's residence, he moved stealthily to avoid being seen by anyone. But he ran out of luck when Bi Yao saw him.

"Good day sir, are you looking for my dad?" Bi Yao asked.

"Yes," he said after feeling relieved that it was eunuch Wang's daughter.

"He is in his chamber and requests that no one disturb him unless urgent," Bi Yao said.

"Just tell him it's Kun Lun from the wolf troop," he responded.

Bi Yao then went to meet his father and told him Kun Lun from the wolf troop is waiting to see him. Without thinking about it, he told Bi Yao to let him in.

Bi Yao then gave him a sign to come in.

"Bi Yao you may excuse us, we have some important matters to discuss," Eunuch Wang said trying to ensure Bi Yao doesn't hear their conversation.

"Master! There is danger looming," Kun Lun said.

"I don't understand what you mean, give me the details," eunuch Wang said.

"Just this afternoon, before coming here, I discovered that Gui Shan had a wolf token which strikes a resemblance to that of capitain Fan Xian," he said.

The moment Eunuch Wang heard this, he was in shock. It was as though an old wound was brought back.

"Are you sure of this? " Eunuch Wang asked.

"Yes master, I wouldn't joke with such a thing. I saw the token, I'm sure that's it," Kun Lun said.

"So he actually survived. I never knew that he was alive all this while."

"Seems his foster parents named him Gui Shan...It never occurred to me that he would suddenly pop up," eunuch Wang said.

"Who else saw this?" Eunuch Wang asked.

"Fu Zhi and I were there when the token fell from him, so I believe that he saw it," Kun Lun said.

"Seems we need to act cautiously and deal with this without raising any alarm or suspicion," Eunuch Wang said.

"Please keep your mouth closed and watch him closely. Secretly contact me if anything happens, I'll get to you if I have any instruction for you. Meanwhile keep calm and watch closely," eunuch Wang said.

After that, he sent Kun Lun out and shut his doors. He sat down and was lost in thoughts at this point.

"Just this afternoon, while we attended to our recruit, the wolf token which belonged to our late general fell from his pocket," Fu Zhi said.

"What!" Qing Wu said in surprise.

"Are you sure of what you are saying?" Qing Wu asked.

"Yes general, I saw the token with my two very eyes," Fu Zhi said.

"I knew it! I knew it! I knew I would find you one day," Qing Wu said.

"General, your soul can rest in peace, your son has been found," Qing Wu said.

"General, I think this is a call for celebration," Fu Zhi said.

"Yes! But we must not act rashly, so as not to put his life Hun danger. We'll let him be for now, when the time is right, the capital would know of it," vice general Qing Wu said.

After that, general Qing Wu alongside Fu Zhi drank to celebrate this great fortune.

Meanwhile, Kun Lun was outside the chamber listening to their conversation.

Back in the dormitories, the recruits use the remaining part of the day to relax and await training the next day. Meanwhile, Gui Shan from where he lying down was lost in thoughts.

He imagined what may follow since the two soldiers had discovered the token. He imagined that soldiers would come banging into the dorm to look for him or perhaps some secret assassination by his father's murderer.

He couldn't sleep at ease that night, but had different thoughts running through his mind. After much struggle, he was able to sleep, after paying a visit to Grandmaster Hun Feng.
