Kun Lun was forced to swallow the pill. In a matter of seconds, his countenance changed.

"Your majesty, you may now ask him the question and get the truth," Chen Feng said.

"Ahem! Who is your accomplice," the emperor asked Kun Lun.

"I work under eunuch Bi Wang," Kun Lun said as he continued.

"Ahhh...," everyone present exclaimed.

"Eunuch Wang who was responsible for the massacre of the wolf family, has been in a state of unrest when he discovered that 'Fan Xiaotian', the son of the wolf warrior is still alive, so he sent me to assassinate him and save him some trouble of being exposed," Kun Lun said.

Eunuch Wang immediately bowed before the emperor and pleaded for his life and that of his family.

"Your majesty! Have mercy! please spare me," eunuch Wang cried out.

Everyone was perplexed and amazed at the same same time when they discovered it was eunuch Wang who was behind the wolf family massacre and were also amazed that Gui Shan was long lost son of the wolf warrior.

"I knew Gui Shan was no ordinary kid, if not he wouldn't be so powerful," Hu Mei said within himself.

Meanwhile, both eunuch Wang and Kun Lun pleaded for their lives and that of their family.

"I'm both joyed and disappointed, what an irony!" the emperor said.

"Great fortune to Wushu kingdom. Fan Xiaotian please come forward," the emperor said as he beckoned to the Gui Shan.

At this moment, all eyes were fixated on Gui Shan. Instructor Qing Wu and Bi Yao were both happy for him.

"I'm so indebted to your father, Gui Shan. So I give you the privilege to decide what would happen to the families of eunuch Wang and Kun Lun, since they led to the death of your parents," the emperor said.

"Your majesty, I wouldn't forgive myself if anything happens to Bi Yao's father. I'll put the past behind, I ask that their families be spared, but these two should be imprisoned so as to atone for the evil they've committed," Gui Shan said.

Everyone cheered Gui Shan's courage and judgement.

"You possess a kind heart just as your father," the emperor said.

So the emperor instructed that the guards take the both of them and lock them in prison. But before eunuch Wang was taken away, he requested to say something.

"Fan Xiaotian, I'm gladdened by how much you love my daughter, take care of her and love her all the days of your life. I give you a go ahead to get married," eunuch Wang said.

"Thank you father in-law," Gui Shan said as he smiled.

Everyone cheered and were rejoicing at the outcome of things. Just as they were still rejoicing, an Intel came in. 

The messenger told it to instructor Qing Wu, who went further and told it to the emperor.

"Seems the poison tribe is about to invade us, we'll continue this celebration after the poison tribe have been defeated," the emperor said as he dismissed the gathering.

Meanwhile, all members of the elite team were made to report at the training field.

"I must inform you that our informant just told us that the poison tribe may attack us soon, so I urge you all to be ready and fight at your best," instructor Qing Wu said.

"It is the duty of the elite team to protect the household of the emperor," he said.

So soldiers of the wolf troop were all assigned to strategic positions to defend, while the elite team were made to watch over the royal court.

Meanwhile, the poison tribe had planned to attack the capital at night and catch them unawares.

After watching for hours, the poison tribe didn't show up. Twilight eventually came in. All members of the elite team watched still and awaited to take necessary actions.

In that hour of the night, Gui Shan excused them and decided to look for a cool corner to meditate, so he went to his dorm. He decided to pay a visit to Grandmaster Hun Feng and inform him of what transpired at the palace.

"Good day Grandmaster," Gui Shan greeted as he successfully transcended to his subconscious mind.

"Good day my son. How have things been going, you seem both happy and sad, any problem?" Grandmaster Hun Feng asked.

"A lot of significant thing has happened today," Gui Shan said as he narrated everything to him.

"Sometimes in life, the justice we seek may not be the same as predestined by fate," Old man Hun Feng said.

"But most importantly, you need to be ready to defeat the poison master. Since everyone now knows you are the son of the last wolf warrior, lots of hope would be placed on you," he added.

"But elder, what if I'm not able to defeat Yan Mo. Infact I'm not even as strong as my father, neither I'm I a match for Yan Mo who may have grown stronger over the years," Gui Shan said.

"How can I face him?" Gui Shan asked.

"Just believe in yourself," Old man Hun Feng said.

"But the more I think of the hopes placed on me, the more I think I may disappoint them," Gui Shan said.

"Master please help me with your strength," Gui Shan said.

"Not to worry, if you find it difficult to defeat him, I'll merge with you and help defeat him...but that would be my last time with you... because using that technique would consume the remaining part of my primordial spirit," Old man Hun Feng said.

"No elder, I can't bear losing you," Gui Shan said almost in tears.

"Don't cry Gui Shan, I think this is how fate wants it to happen. Remember, it's your destiny to save your people, no matter the sacrifice you are making," the old man said.

"Besides I'm already dead, this is just my primordial spirit," Grandmaster Hun Feng said.

"Go Gui Shan...go quickly.. seems something is happening outside," the old man said since he could sense something already happenings.

Gui Shan quickly broke out the subconscious realm and made it to the world of reality.

On coming out of his room, he saw everyone including the wolf soldiers running Helter skelter.

"Gui Shan...come on, let's hurry to the palace and guard it, we're under attack," Tan Ning who has been searching for him said.

"I guess poison master and his lieutenants would want to attack the royal palace... leaving their underlings for the soldiers," Tan Ning said as both he and Gui Shan ran towards the direction of the palace.

Joining the scene, Poison master and his lieutenants were seen at the entrance of the royal palace. Gui Shan and Tan Ning then joined other members of the elite team.

"Elites formation," Gui Shan called out.

With immediate effect, ten of them encircled the lieutenants, while the remaining ten of them did the 'Qing-Wang formation' and encircled poison master.

"Stop dreaming... hahaha...do you think this your formation can stop me... hahaha...," the poison master laughed hard.

"...most importantly I would like to know the son of the wolf warrior. Please step forward...," Yan Mo said.

No one answered, but they were fixated on defeating him with the formation.

"It doesn't matter if you reveal yourself, I'll know as the battle progress...," He said.

"I'm over here," Gui Shan said out courageously.

"I must congratulate you Gui Shan, pardon me, Fan Xiaotian for being able to defeat my lieutenants and now stepping out as the son of the late wolf warrior... hahaha...

"But I must warn you, that I'm much more stronger than when I fought your father...so if I were you, I wouldn't be in high hopes... hahaha...," Yan Mo said as he laughed harder.

The battle began as the elite members began their attack.

Without breaking a sweat, the formation technique was broken by Yan Mo, one by one, he defeated the members of the elite team...

Gui Shan was still left standing, so he continued fighting Yan Mo.

Yan Mo was able to counter all of Gui Shan's powerful attack and beat Gui Shan with no effort.

At a point, Gui Shan was raged... thinking of the fact that this was one assignment his father left to him...and he must live up to the legacy of his father...

In that fury, he had a breakthrough and advanced to the astro level stage in an instant....he was then able to use wolf mode up to 100 percent.

This still wasn't enough to defeat Yan Mo. Giving it his all, Gui Shan was still powerless. He had no choice but to ask Grandmaster Hun Feng for his support.

Since he had no choice... Grandmaster Hun Feng's vitality bonded with Gui Shan's body....

At that point, Gui Shan was invincible. He fought with the poison master and was attacking non-stop.

Yan Mo was perplexed by how fast Gui Shan got strong. But it was too late to think. In that fury, Gui Shan beat Yan Mo to a lifeless state.

The battle against the poison tribe was good as one, It was finally over. Everyone cheered and carried Gui Shan up after he defeated Yan Mo.

That night, casualties were attended to. It took about two days for most of the soldiers to recover.

Seven days after the victorious battle, Gui Shan and Bi Yao were wedded at the capital. The hunter and his wife were invited to the royal capital to stand in as Gui Shan's parents.

During the wedding ceremony, the emperor conferred on Gui Shan the title as Captain of the wolf troop.

...the long lost wolf warrior lived happily hereafter...

...THE END...

...they both stood in as Gui Shan's parents and graced the wedding Of Gui Shan and Bi Yao...
