28. DID YOU GUYS LIKE..........

"Mrs Tamima, am truly sorry for arriving late today. It was not my intention to do so."

David's was inside Mrs Tamima's office trying to reason with her and apologizing for arriving late to school.

When they left the Mountain garage, Davids had thought that they will make it in time but unfortunately traffic had delayed them. There was construction going on leaving only one lane for all vehicles to go back and forth. Reaching school Math's class was already over and her math's teacher Mrs Tamima was at the door collecting the exercise books.

David's felt angered by herself for coming late to the Maths class. She had even forgotten that she was supposed to take her class through geometry in that lesson since she volunteered.

Her classmates were angry at her that she wasn't there to take them through the class yet she knew that they needed her help.

Standing in front of Mrs Tamima's office, though she was disappointed in herself she was trying with all means to make sure that she corrects herself. She doesn't know how to do it but she is going to make sure that she recovers the lost lesson and make it up for Mrs Tamima.

"Davids, if you were not willing to teach your classmates, why give them false hope that you will help them with maths class?" Asked Mrs Tamima with a disappointed look on her face. David's could see through her, in her eyes she sees the face of her mother portrayed when she disappointed her during the fashion show when she didn't do her work to perfection, she didn't want that to be the case for Mrs Tamima.

Mrs Tamima looks at the books beside her table then looks at her I. The face, "show me that I can trust you to take care of the maths class again Miss. Davids."

She completed and sent Davids out from her office.

Sitting in the library, Davids picked the timetable schedule from the librarian to try and check how she can make up for the lesson. Checking through it, she realized that almost all the time she wants to use to cover up the class, most of her classmates won't be around.

"Stop thinking too hard, those guys can sort themselves out," came Damien's Voice from the bookshelves across her.

She shot her head up and looked at him, "please tell me that they didn't call me named when I didn't show up." Asked Davids with creased eyebrows.

"Is pomp, pomp also a name?" Asked Damien sitting at the same table as her.

"Only that?" Asked Davids.

"Just don't bother about them they will come around one by one," grinned Damien while opening his laptop.

As if she has gotten an idea, she rechecked the timetable.

"Damien, can you please get me the list of people in our class?" Requested Daniel while still busy with the time's table.

"What for?" Asked Damien surprised by her change of behaviour.

"Because, you Damien, you are a genius. One by one I will cover the lesson lost. Like right now, I can pick five students and teach them because some of them are not making history." Shouted Davids with excitement earning a glare from other pupils and a warning face from the librarian.

While Damien was getting the list, Davids was busy arranging her geometry equipment.

"Here you go and just so you know I have helped you identify those taking history so you have ten pupils to teach now." Exclaimed Damien handing her a paper.

After going through it, she picked five students and marched to them. Gladly they were doing maths.

She pulled a sit from nearby and Damien also joined her.

"I know am a douche and you can call me any names, but please, let me make it up to you guys for the lesson," she didn't even finish talking when she fished out her maths textbook and the instrument needed and began doing the calculation. Though some pupils were bored, she still managed to coarse them and together they did the work.

After twenty minutes of explaining and drawing, they were all okay with the concept. She left them with sums to do as a group while she moved to another group, where she delivered the same concept carefully and diligently before leaving.

She later picked some of the pupils to help the rest with the same concept.

By the time it was lunchtime, she was happy with the effort that she had put in the classwork.

"Do you think Clara will join us today for lunch?" Davids asked Damien as she was placing her books inside the locker. She hadn't noticed that Damien was busy on his phone tapping away furiously.

Closing her locker, she threw Damien a look but Damien was still on his phone.

"Damien, Damien," she called out loudly that the other students in the hallway turned to look at them.

"What," asked Damien with a furious face as if he had been angered.

"Come on, why that face?" Asked Davids pushing him towards the boy's urinals.

"What the fuck are you doing here?" Shouted the boys inside the urinal.

"They are dicks, and u have one, nothing unusual dickheads," she replied after pushing Damien to the corner.

Checking to see that they were alone inside the washroom and being sure that they were alone, she then moved to Damien who was now cursing.

"David's," he called on Davids who was busy checking the toilets for somebody.

"What's wrong Damien?" Asked David's after she was done with the checking.

"What is the need of loving someone who doesn't show ?" Asked Damien with a tight grip on his phone.

Davids moved up to him and a hushed home down.

"It happens Damien," Davids told him while fixing his collar.

" no, it doesn't, why is Clara avoiding me now? Now when Daniella is around? I thought we had something on Sunday?" Said Damien frustrated with himself.

Davids stops there shocked by Damien's word. She didn't know that they had moved up to that base of sleeping together.

"Did you guys like...."

Damien cut her before she could complete her sentence.

"We didn't have sex, we just kissed and spent time with my family. Right now she is not replying to my text, is it because Daniella is back?" Asked Damien.

Davids cleared her throat, she wanted to tell Damien that maybe it was true but she couldn't break his heart.

"Look," called Davids, "let's go to the school cafeteria maybe she has reserved something the way she did last Friday."

"Maybe," shrugged Damien as Davids was pushing him towards the cafeteria.
