Davids woke up from her sleep. Her small eyes were now puffy and bloodshot. She turned around and saw Brian sleeping on the carpet. His legs were curled and his middle finger in his mouth like a baby suckling milk from her mother's breast. His face was goofy but again he smiled and Davids chuckled. 

She stretched her hands and picked her phone. She stopped it and snapped a picture, "for future reference," she chuckled while putting the phone away.

He tried to stand up but his head was heavy, she kicked the bottle of empty Hennesy on the floor and done content spilt on the floor.

"Fuck," she muttered under her breath before picking the bottle up.

She decided to clean the place because it was a mess after narrating her silly love story to Brian who laughed at her for the entire night before passing out.

While picking some clothes from the floor, she heard her phone beep. She picked it up and looked at it.

Natalia: I was asking if we can go to the Westside Mall this Friday.

"Ughhh," she groaned and threw herself in the bed. 

She knew Natalia was up to no good. It's either she wants miney or she needs a favour. 

She stopped her phone to answer and another message pooped on her screen.

Natalia: I don't feel like school pizza, would you please get me some Macdonald's?

"Not again Natalia," she cried while throwing her phone away in the bed.

She picked it up and decided to order her some Macdonald's. She knew it has to be for three people. Natalia and her two friends always follow her everywhere she goes.

"Hello, Jeff," she said through her phone while combing her dreadlocks with her hands. "I need you to deliver some fries, Buffalo wings and smoothie, vanilla to he precise to Blue Mountain high," 

"Dude, are you sure you won't get caught, you know the way it's hard even to get you guys some simple hot dogs?" Jeff asked Jeff in the other line.

Davids punched her chins and was trying to think of how the food was going to he sneaked in the school.

"Look, the point where you always pass me the Pizza, it's not fenced, you can place them there and I will ask someone to pick," she said with realization.

"Okay, but that must be plus a damages fee," said Jeff while laughing.

"Sure Jeff, plus damages fee," she said and ended the call throwing her phone on the bed.

Brian woke up and turned but he did not stand up from his position. He groaned and placed his hands on his forehead.

"Do you have some painkillers?" He asked Davids while groaning and squatting.

"Check in the bathroom," she said to him while picking some dirty laundry from the floor.

Brian stands up Nd goes to the washroom for the painkillers leaving Davids by herself.

She picks a receipt that has fallen from her trousers back pocket.

She seats down and starts to look at the receipts. She smiles when she reads what she had bought in the receipts. Brian walks from the washroom and finds her holding the receipt. He snatches the receipt from her hands and starts to read it.

"Dude, what did you spend on this much money?" Asked Brian shocked.

"We went for fun and I bought some shoes for Natalia the ones she was wearing were soaked with water," Davids replied.

Brian goes on to look at the receipts. Anger and shocked expressions are dancing on his face. Davids looks at him and knows that Brian has seen something bad and soon he will our him down with the economist lectures again.

Davids pretended not to look at him and went on spreading her bed. Brian was silent, he was mad and disappointed that Davids still uses the money to please someone.

"Davids, Davids," Brian called and Davids faced her. 

"Yeah, big brother," she said while avoiding Brian's eyes.

"Stop pretending to be busy yet you know what you have down," said Brian in an irritated voice.

Mrs Black had given him the authority to punish and mentor Davids and that is what he was found right now.

"Look at me Davids, look at me and tell me that you are not trying g to walk the same road you walked while you were fifteen. Telling me you are not trying to drain your bank account because of some sick bitch that is trying to reap you off. Yep me she is not the same chick I heard you order fold for!" Scolded Brian while waving the receipt on her face.

"Bro, am sorry, I wAs trying to make her happy," said Davids in an embarrassed voice.

She knows Brian was right. 

This is what happened when she was fifteen. She drained her bank just to please some bitch who was not into her. The results were severe. Her parents denied her upkeep money, she was never paid when she worked for her dad and she had to help Ann every day even when cane from school late. 

Her parents gave her a second chance. They started believing in her again after Brian vouched for her. She started earning money again, her upkeep money was given to her. And this year again she wants to drain her bank account by pleasing Natalia just so she won't be angry.

"Sorry Davids, the is almost like death, why are you trying to bury yourselves in this, just tell someone you don't love them instead of wasting their time and wasting your money on some girl who doesn't value you."

"I am doing this because she is mama's runway, and if I don't do or anger her, she has some anger issues, she might cause chaos and the show won't go well," Said Davids while trying to reason with Brian.

Brian there the receipt to the dustbin and sat on the floor with his hands in his head.

"Davids, I don't want you to feel sorry for someone, don't feel sorry for her that she will go mad or what. Well mama's show might be affected but after this, make sure you tell her the truth, or I wi do that myself," warned Brian.

Davids nodded. 

She agreed with Brian that this was stupid. Enticing Natalia with gifts is a waste of money and her time. She kept thinking of what happened to Natalia's previous lover?

In her previous Instagram post, she saw Natalia had been tagging some stud, she decided to look into her Instagram account and see if she can find any information about her.

"So Natalia dated Makena?" Asked Brian startling Davids.

"What, are you stalking her now Bro?" Asked Davids while moving to look at Brian's laptop.

"No, am trying to know who this Natalia girl is," said Brian while handing her the laptop and excuses himself to get them some drinks downstairs.

Davids started looking at Makena's pictures. She didn't have Natalia's pictures anywhere. It was just her pictures and maybe friends hanging out. 

She graduated high school last year and she went to the local college. Davids wondered why she would go to a local university yet she had good GPA points and could go to any university she wanted. Plus she is from a well off family, her mother is a high school professor while her dad is a banker. 

"Jesus, why are you doing that to her tits Davids,"

"For fucks sake Brian, I haven't even touched her tits," shouted Davids while jumping from her seating position after Brian startled her.

"Sorry, I thought I saw you zoom out on her tits," 

They both laughed and Davids picked her to drink from Brian.

"You know I've been thinking, why don't we go and visit Makena today before the rehearsal, maybe you can get a glimpse of who we are dealing with," said Brian while going back to his seating position.

"Nice idea, we can investigate Makena and we will get an answer," Davids agreed and they went on looking at her pictures.

"She looks pretty," said Brian while sipping his soup.

Davids just looked at him. She knew where he was going with his compliments. 

"Why do you think she left her?" Davids asked while maintaining her eyes contact with Brian.

"She is a gold digger!" Shouted Brian while looking at Makena's pictures.

Davids kept looking at Makena's picture but ain't see anything wrong with her. She could t get a good reason from Brian, she resolved to do things on her own as they prepared to go to Her school.

"What if she says that she was wrong, and Natalia loved her, wi that change your opinion side?" Asked Brian while looking at her phone.

Davids did not answer, but deep down she knew, Natalia and her, we're not going anywhere.
