161: YOU ARE BARELY EIGHTEEN!

Mrs Smith stood by the shore holding a travelling bag with the other hand holding a shawl. 

Ashley left Daniella's side and quickly ran to her mother picking the shawl from her hand. 

"Do you know Daniella is a baby to Davids," said Ashley to her mom's ears. 

Her mum chuckled and pinched her cheeks before holding her hands. 

"Sorry, we had gone to the washroom," apologized Daniella. 

Mrs Smith nodded her head and watched the way their hands were tightly holding each other. 

"No problem, we had booked a room for tonight but we can share with you guys," she said eyeing Davids.

"Sure, we will be grateful, we just jumped in here abruptly," said Davids.

She didn't even know her, Mrs Smith had just allowed her to get into the ferry after she helped her with some goods and Davids in turn told her about Daniella that's when Ashley was given a job to wait for Daniella. 

Daniella looked at Davids then at Mrs Smith, "do you two know each other?' 

Davids looked at Mrs Smith hoping she would help her from knowing each other situations but Mrs Smith also looked at Davids waiting for her to talk but the little Ashley was too quick to jump in and start talking.

"Yeah, they met at the ferry and I was the one waiting for you," 

"So you two met here for the first time?" Asked Daniella eyeing Mrs Smith.

Davids and Mrs Smith nodded and Daniella chuckled. She realised that they had used Ashley to be her distraction and Davids was not lost in the ferry.

"Can we go now, Dad will be waiting for us," complained Ashley as she grabbed her mom's hand. 

Davids and Daniella followed Mrs Smith towards the fancy building that was a few meters from the dock. 

"I don't have any clothes you know," reminded Daniella as they stood in the lobby waiting for Mrs Smith who was checking in.

Davids looked at her and smiled, "don't worry, we can get some I hope they are not expensive."

They were walked to the rooms outside the main hotel, they were villas with grass-thatched roofs.

Daniella removed her phone to take some pictures of the villas. "This is amazing, I love the place," she said excitedly as she jogged back to Davids' hands. 

"I am happy you love it, maybe we can come back here when you are of legal age for a month, or even buy the houses," said Davids kissing the top of her head.

"Really? I would love to, then we can also bring our kids here so that they can enjoy the ocean waters," she replied while looking at Davids. 

"This will be your room for today," said Mrs Smith.

Davids and Daniella were shocked. The room was too big, it was outside the main mansion.

"This is too big I mean we are only here till tomorrow," said Davids. 

"Come on, you are teenagers, and we own most of the villas here I don't want to limit you to a small room, have fun you can tour the place, buy some things and even take more pictures, you know what they say about memories they are kept inside a photograph," 

Davids and Daniella chuckled at her last statement. Even though they didn't know her they felt the psych of being around her so welcoming and warm. 

Both of them didn't have a second thought about being on the island. 

"I will be in the hospital, Ashley has some piano classes and then in the evening, we will have dinner with important guests," she said before leaving them. 

"Thank you," chorused the teenagers and they sprawled themselves on the king-sized bed that was in their room. 

Davids was amazed at the decorations of the rooms. The interior design was from the late '80s but it blended with the modern structure of the room. 

Daniella was busy taking pictures and recording some videos. She walked into every room while talking. You could almost think she was doing a live recording. 

"Is that for your youtube channel?" Asked Davids as she walked and found her in the bathroom.

Instead of answering, she turned the camera to face Davids and started talking, 

"Babe, how do you find the washroom, I love the marbled tiles."

Davids didn't talk instead she placed her hands on the lens of her phone to stop her from recording.

"Why did you do that for?" Asked Daniella as she grabbed her hands from the camera.

"I love what you are doing, but for today can we please focus on us, you can do the recording tomorrow, I know Mrs Smith might have a camera and we will use it," told Davids as she grabbed her phone.

Daniella pouted but she knew it was for the better, she had to focus on enjoying the moment rather than pleasing some people who didn't even know what she was passing through to give them a worthwhile tour of the place.

She turned off the camera and placed the phone in Davids pockets. 

Davids placed it back in her hands, "you are allowed to make memories, not for youtube though," 

Danielle laughed and pecked her on the cheeks. They left the room after making sure that everything was okay. 

They decided to pay Ashley a visit to her piano lessons. They found her concentrated and couldn't even look up and say hi to them. 

They decided to let her be and walked out of the room. They walked on the other houses that were in the villas, the grass was perfectly mowed, the compound was filled with men in white pants and t-shirts. They were busy holding trays with food and taking them to various cottages around the villas. 

Daniella saw a sign for a recreational facility and she pulled Davids hands in that direction.

They were various activities, bowling, tennis, skating, in house golfing among other activities.

"What do you want us to try?" Asked Daniella as she eyed various activities.

"What about you chose one?" Asked Davids as she hugged her from behind.

Daniella found it hard to choose one thing. She knew everything was to her liking and deciding on one will be very hard.

"Why don't you choose?" She asked Davids.

"Bowling but skating seems more fun than bowling, so which one?" Davids threw the choice on her court again.

"Skating it is," she said and marched towards the skating section.

Davids looked at her all happy as she picked the skating shoes. 

Paying for their shoes she helped Daniella wear them before wearing hers.

She then joined Daniella on the skating floor and they moved in slow motion. Daniella was not afraid of skating using the four-wheeled shoes, they were comfy, unlike the single skating shoes.

Davids moved more closer to her and placed Daniella on her chest.

"How are you feeling?" Ske asked as she helped her move around.

"Heaven, I don't want to move from this," she said. 

Davids placed a kiss on her cheeks and let 5ge silence prevail as the went on skating. 

After sometimes they left the skating area and walked out of the Villa.

"Why don't we visit Mrs Smith in the hospital, she can give us some ideas about the donor," urged Daniella.

Davids didn't protest about it. She knew Daniella had made up her mind and she was not going to change her decision.

They walked up to the guard around the area and asked her about the hospital. 

"We have two hospitals, you can go to any that you want, they both offer quality services," said the guard.

They nodded and walked away. They didn't know which hospital was Mrs Smith occupying but they just tried their luck at finding her in one of them.

Using their google map, the first hospital we near them than the second one which was a kilometre away from their destination. 

Walking at the reception, the gentleman standing with glasses welcomed them and showed them a place to seat. They asked for Mrs Smith, he informed them that she was held so they had to wait for some time before seeing her.

Davids was shaking her legs as she watched people walking around the area.

"Hey, you okay?" Asked Daniella as she placed her hands on her thighs.

Davids placed her hands on top of Daniella's and smiled at her.

"A little nervous but I will be okay," she said and clasped her hands with Daniella's 

"Mrs Smith will see you now," said the gentleman as he ushered them in the elevator to the second floor.

They knocked on the door and Mrs Smith welcomed them in.

"What are you guys doing here?" She asked them with a surprise on her face. 

She thought they will be touring the place and having fun but seeing them in the hospital was the last thing she expected.

Daniella looked around the room, it was baby-like. Sky blue painting on the wall with most baby pictures hanging on the wall. 

Davids on yen other side was surprised by the coincidence that they were walking into. She knew that the pictures on the wall meant that Mrs Smith was a children doctor or something related to children.

"Are you a children doctor?" Asked Davids. The curiosity was killing her. 

Mrs Smith chuckled and showed them the table's name. It held a different name to it. To mean she was in for somebody else.

"What do you deal with then?" Asked Daniella in a broken voice.

"I deal with In Vitro Fertilization," 

Davids and Daniella looked at each other and quickly settled on the chairs in front of her.

"We want a baby," they both chorused.

"A what?" Shouted Mrs Smith, "you are barely eighteen!"
