Andrew focused on helping find a place or a clue where they could start their investigations. So far everything or everyone they wanted to investigate was either dead on has been manipulated and it will be hard to identify them because their faces have been changed and their names are different.
Mike had to handle Mike delicately. Though he is a bog man but everything that was done to him before he came to his normal self see too much, having discovered that her daughter was being lied to by two important people in her life broke him more.
He didn't know how to just sit and pretend everything is okay. Mike walked him to the room where he settled but had to keep a close eye on him unless he throws things anyhow and break them.
The room they were given is the expensive rooms owned by Mr Marcus and there were fragile antics in every part of the house that needed careful handling and with Mr Brown's anger, they had to collect all of them and place them in the washroom safely to avoid annoying Mr Marcus.
Mike walked out of the room when he fell asleep. He tends to fall asleep after the medical es were pumped out of his body. Today Mike was engrossed in looking at the report draf5ed by his doctor after taking the residue from Brown's body for testing. There was a trace of high Adenosine in the body.
Adenosine is one of the chemicals that is used for making caffeine but this medicine jar high dosage of it and it was harmful to the human body.
The effects of removing it resulted in Brown being tired most of the time and wanting to sleep every time.
What made Mike happy was the fact that his friend was recuperating very well and will soon be okay without taking any medication.
The only problem Mike had were his memories. Not a of them were coming back. Having been suppressed, most of them were forgotten and for the ones saved in the subconscious mind they were easy to come back to maybe in a dream or when he tries to think of something.
Mike could have used the forceful method of extracting memories but he knew that will hurt him and the rays from the machines are too strong and he might end up running mad or brain damage.
Going through the various documents in Emma's file, Andrew noticed that her phone was connected to a speaker somewhere. Channelling the saved device, he realised the speaker was in Clank's mansion.
"Why do you think Emma had a secret spying gadget inside the Clank's mansion?" Asked Andrew as he tried to locate some of the files of the recording.
Mike tried to think of the reason for her to do that and he only thought of Daniella. Maybe Emma wanted Daniella to know that she is her mother but she couldn't do that without first getting the authority involved with The Clank's business, since she has reported and given out the evidence maybe her years were going to be reduced which would give her sometimes to hang around her daughter and give her the love she wanted. Before she could do that, she was discovered and murdered.
That was the hypothesis that he came up with. He has to try and see whether she visited any officer or if she called someone apart from the people that were saved in her contact list.
Instruc6kng Andrew on what to look for, he pulled a chair and sat next to him equity going through her call log.
"Do you think he wi ever forgive himself for what happened to her daughter?" Asked Andrew while scrolling through the laptop.
Mike knew Andrew was just a concerned parent, though his son Brian was not affected by the loss of his mother, Daniella can be different. He jas lived knowing that her mother is Amanda and Brown her dad, she won't have any effect unless someone messed with her and said and tho gs about her parents.
Those are kids, but for parents it's difficult, you feel guilty that they messed their kids and Brown is feeling the same but with time, things will work out okay.
"He will be okay, all I hope for is that he gets a second chance with Daniella before she forgets him completely," Andrew nodded and looked at the contact that was saved as 'doctor' but had lots of calls that may other contacts.
"Look at this one," said Andrew as he pointed at the contact for Mike to see the details. Mike quickly focused on the screen looking at the med development from Andrew
"Before the phone went off, she had can him three hours earlier ten times and their calls lasted two seconds or one minute the longest, let's nice to the other calls," suggested Mike.
The other calls also gave a doubtful impression. The longest calls that were made to the contact was five minutes. Since Andrew couldn't access the details of what was talked about because it was a call they decided to search for the number and see if they can find the person who was collaborating with Emma on the investigation.
"A police officer," Said Andrew as he saw the name of the person on his screen.
Checking for his details, little was given about him. He started by being a ticketing officer before he got promoted to the front desk to other important roles in the office.
"Do you think we can get into contact with this police, he might give us some intel from the little that Emma shared with him," asked Mike as he looked at the officer who moustache was telling a story of a weird wicked man but Mime brushed those thoughts away.
Andrew shook his head in disapproval. He had looked at the details of the officer and he believed he was the one involved with the murder of Emma.
If their was something he was working on, he could have talked with his superiors. The phone calls begin from the time when Brian was assumed dead and they never talked for more than five minutes. The messages that they exchanged were few, there was no major development and when she tried to ask for a meeting the man said he was ever busy.
"I don't think so, we should focus on finding that ourselves, I will ask someone from the police station to spy on him and give us some details," told Andrew.
Mine couldn't say anything more because Andrew was a pro in his side. If it was something related to business then he would have agreed and won the fight no matter what.
"I think we should go to Sheba building, that's where one private role is," Mike and Andrew turned and met Brown who was standing at the door with a day face plastered on his forehead
"Are you I'm at?" Asked Mime as he moved closer to him.
"Yeah, I just had a vision of that house, it's the places where my parents used to work day in and out and the same house where they and their first initiations.
Mike and Andrew led the way as Brown was the one responsible for telling the location of the house.
Chopper was the easiest way to arrive at their destination. The house was still standing beautiful decorated. Brown stood looking at the place, many years ago when he was then to the secluded room and was asked to please himself with Alex which was embarrassing a but he did it.
"Are you okay?" Asked Andrew as he watched him zone out.
He nodded they didn't want to ring the bell because they were sneaking into the house to get down information and run away so that they won't be caught.
The room was dusty and the windows were closed making the area more stuffy for them. "I will be sneezing the who day," said Andrew.
Looking around. The chairs and tables were turned all over and a white cloth was covered g them. they were undecided on whether to open it or just leave it that way, but Mike with his hasty nature came around and pulled the sheets.
It was only chaired underneath the sheets. He threw the sheet down in frustration but he couldn't let it take over.
They went in searching through the room till they came across. A huge pile of files with names and pictures of people attached to it.
This was a big achievement for the day, discovering something new out of the ordinary was a relief to them unlike other days when everything from dead ends
"This files might be the one holding the names of people who went through the testing for the first time. Most of them were weak because of the little or pathetic food that they were being given.
Mikes heart did a happy dance as they looked at each of them.
