187: We Had An Agreement.

Do you still believe when they say,' When you are busy planning your life, somebody or something somewhere is also planning for it?' Probably that's not the say but it looked like that.

Davids was busy planning how she is going to live her life after graduation, not that she will have to struggle, look for somewhere to stay, she still hasn't known which university she is going to. After the exams, she has been sleeping, waking up to eat, and rewinding the activities over and over. Her parents decided to give her days off because she had finished high school and they didn't want her to be working in the office, for the time being, they asked her to relax and that's what she was doing.

Daniella and Davids had decided to give each other a break though she didn't understand why Daniella was doing that she agreed with it. To some extent,t it gave her time to reflect on their three months love journey and how she wants to correct it or make some changes in the relationship.

She was ascending downstairs when she saw Annie carrying a glass of water in a tray taking it to her mum's room.

"Hey, let me help you with that, you've been working yourself all day, at least I can do this," she said as she took the tray from Annie's hand and walked over to her parent's bedroom, she didn't need to knock because probably her mother had not yet slept

Walking in, she heard her mother talking over the phone, she was on the balcony of their room, indicating she was not in bed. She tiptoed not wanting to create any attention and placed the tray with water on the counter of their small kitchen. She wanted to walk over to the other side of the balcony but she heard her mother mention a familiar name, 'Brown?'

She stood and eavesdropped though she knew it was not a good thing to do so on her parent's conversation, she wanted to know what she was talking about and who her mother was talking to.

"How are you doing Brown?' She heard her mother ask over the phone.

"I am trying to be okay, just wondering when I will be seeing my daughter, I rarely see her pictures online nowadays with Davids is everything okay?"

Davids couldn't believe her ears, she knew that Brown was dead and buried almost three months ago, 'how comes my mother is speaking to him, this can't be!'

She argued with herself as she moved closer to see the video of the guy her mother was talking to. Her mother had her back facing the door giving her a good view of the person being spoken to on the phone.

'What the fuck!' She cursed but didn't allow the words to come out of her mouth, she held her mouth with her hands and walked out of the place.

Vicky had hot realized that she was inside the room, she went on to speak to Brown because he had asked her to talk to Davids about Daniella.

Davids quickly walked into her room avoiding Annie who was arranging the dining table for the evening meal, being a Wednesday, everyone was supposed to assemble at the table for the meal, they could talk about various issues and anyone who wanted to air a problem would say it and it would be sorted out.

She climbed up the stairs to her room and closed the door behind her, luckily for Davids, Brian was not around today, he had started to work in Vicky's company and she had the room to herself.

"So, Daniella was saying the truth, she had seen her father that day and I was the one preventing her from seeing her," she started lamenting bad she paced up and down in the room.

"How could my parents hide this information from us, Daniella missed her dad sometimes even though he had done some bad things, she wanted to confront him, " she said as he threw clothes all over the place.

She then remembered the woman who said her husband was called Brown, 'what if that was her father dressed up as a woman?' She knew only one person was able to make that transformation happen, her mother, a great makeup artist, even though she didn't learn about it she used YouTube tutorials to come up with her make-up design, something Brian was also doing now.

She paced up and down, blaming herself for not believing in Daniella when she said that she had seen her father, she didn't know who to believe anymore.

Her parents have proved that they can't tell her anything, they let a child suffer yet her father's nightmare keeps haunting her, a man who almost killed her with cigarettes burns! She wanted to walk back into the room and confront her mother, ask her why did they hide Mr Brown and faked his death, without explaining it to her, but she couldn't, she didn't want to frustrate her mother but at the same time she felt anger building towards her and she couldn't contain herself.

She looked for her phone to call Brian maybe she will get some information about it but she couldn't locate her phone.

She decided the only way for her parents to reveal the news is by getting Daniella, and telling her the truth, Daniella will in turn come over and ask her her parents why they did it.

'If they had food intentions, they could have explained to us why they are keeping Mr Brown hidden for all those months?' She thought to herself.

Walking downstairs, she found Annie in the kitchen stirring the pot while humming. She looked at her, she knew if there is a secret then she must know what is happening, why Mr Brown was kept under the radar.

"Jesus, you scared me!" Exclaimed Annie who turned around and found her behind her.

"Is Brown Alive? Daniella's dad?" She asked. She didn't mean to be rude but she just found herself being rude to her this evening.

But Davids didn't need an answer, the expression of shock and betrayal was dancing on Annie's face, she was stammering trying to come up with an answer but she couldn't. Davids didn't need her to sing-song to her to tell her that they were excluded from the information.

She walked past her and went outside, Annie rushed to Vicky's room, "call Mr Black right now!" She said in a panicked voice making Vicky stop drinking her water and call her husband.

"What is it, is someone in the house trying to kill us?" Asked Vicky as she placed the phone on the loudspeaker.

"Davids knows about Brown, she has run outside," said Annie in a regretful voice.

"What?" Shouted Vicky as she sprang from her seat and run past Annie.

"Hun, hun," shouted Vicky over the phone," get over her right now, Davids is running away because of Brown, I think she is going to be Daniella about it!"

Annie turned off the gas and followed Vicky, the guards around were alerted but they said she took her bicycle and said she is going for a walk, two guards were assigned to accompany her.

They decided to calm the two guards but Davids was the one who answered the phone, "explain to me why I was not informed about him? Her daughter has been crying, her father molested her when she was a child, she wanted to face her but you hid him, tell me how you are defending criminal mum, a rapist?"

Vicky was surprised by her daughter's outburst. Sue didn't know where due get the information. She wanted to talk to her but Davids stopped her.

"Save it, mum, we always share things that are happening in the house, dont you believe I can't keep a secret?" She asked.

The guards were busy tracking the walkie talkie she was using, Vicky's mind was scattered, she was in fear, that something might happen to Davids, someone will kidnap her maybe the people who attacked her will get to her and kill her.

"Is there anyone who doesn't know about it in the house?" Asked Davids.

Vicky cleared her voice, she had exited to Brian two days ago, because there were items that we're being designed for Brown in the shop. Brian had to keep it a secret and that included not opening his mouth to Davids.

"Does Brian know?" She retorted.

"Yes,' said Vicky in a faint voice.

"Turns out I am the baby in the family who doesn't need to know shit!" She paused for a moment, hoping to hear her mother say a damn word but she didn't.

She threw the phone and stepped on it several times, toed the two guards to the bicycle, left them on the ground and runoff.

"Okay, we have her location," said one of the securities.

Vicky jumped into the vehicle that was going to get Davids, she didn't want her to get hurt, Davids was correct they have violated the family rules, about explaining what Is happening in the house to everyone, they didn't honour those rules, now Davids is mad because they didn't tell her that they were hiding Brown and their reason for doing that.

Arriving at the location, they found two guards tied into a bicycle and the walkie talkie was not working, she had disabled it.

"I didn't expect anything less, she was raised with a tough Mike and taught how to fight, what did I expect?" Asked Vicky as she watched the guards who had been bruised on the face and the bicycle deformed before they were tied to it.

She decided to Call Mike, Mike was worried but he decided to put his worries aside and focus on his little child who had decided to run away after finding out about Brown.

Andrew drive him to The Clanks but she was not there. They didn't know where Davids had gone to. Damien and Clara were not around, they had gone on their three days vacation after they won the King and queen prom.

At The Devine's restaurant, she was not there, Marcus confirmed with them and said he hasn't seen her.

Panic started to hit the whole family, Brian had not been alerted and was shocked when she arrived at the path leading to the mansion, he didn't need to ask what had happened because he couldn't see Davids around the place, Vicky was crying and yet eyes were red_sore from shading lots of tears.

Brian walked into her and tried to comfort her but she was not calming down.

Mike and Andrew decided to post the matter to the police station, they knew Davids was somewhere trying to calm herself before coming home, something she does but she jas never left home this late in the evening, she would have gone to her room and cry there then came and talk her heart out to her parents, but this was not happening.

The security team decided to hack the telephone booths though it was illegal, they connected them so that they can ring at the same time, they hoped that Davids was walking around and she will probably pick up the call though it was near impossible for her to get the phone from the booth because her father had warned her not to call using a booth's phone, it was dangerous.

At the perimeter wall, Davids was walking slowly around it, sneaking and looking out for anyone who will come closer before she jumps on the other side.

The walk was not that high and the electrical fence was not reaching the top part, after confirming that there was no one on the other side, she jumped and landed on someone's feet.

"I have been waiting for you for so long, Davids Black!"
