240: Are You Lovers?

The two children sat on the floor for some time before breaking their hug moment. They had learnt how to comfort each other when a situation comes up. They know their mother is strong and doesn't tell them anything but at the same time, they understand she can go through stiffs but never says it. She acts all cool but doesn't show any signs of pain or tiredness. Noelle wiped her brother's tears and kissed him on the cheeks.

"You don't have to cry now, if we come up with an idea on how to find our father, things might just get better," said Noelle.

Zeke looked at her. He was the last born, though they were born on the same day, Zeke was born four hours later because their mother had complications.  Noelle has always been his best friend, he suffers from asthma and is fragile in front of her sister and mother, something he always tried to hide. 

"The big problem, we don't even know where to start with," said Zeke holding he is sister's hands. 

"What about our cousin Ashley? She can give us a heads up, she is always the one who would babysit us and even snatch us away from the weekend in case of anything."

Zeke scratched his head and kept a straight face at Noelle.

"Are you sure Ashley knows anything about our father? I have ever heard her say a thing," said Zeke. 

"Maybe, because we have never asked her anything." Said Noelle while looking at his brother. 

The discussed how they were going to get Ashley to speak to them and help them find out where their dad is at. 

Meanwhile, they did their assignment. Noelle helped Zeke with maths while Zeke helped her with English. They had this close cooperation with each other every time. It was a calm sibling relationship but as we know siblings sometimes have fights and you don't want to come near their fight. 

Daniella walked to their room and found them busy studying. 

"So are you guys ready for tomorrow's trip?" Asked Daniella sitting on Noelle's bed. 

"Yeah, we will need some cash and some food packed for us," said Noelle while looking at Zeke for support. 

Zeke raised his brows and then nodded to his mother.  It's like the money part was not part of the requirement but it was just an idea to have money when they are going out.

"Are you sure you will be safe in New York City?" Daniella looked worried. She has never let the children out of her sight unless she is going somewhere, they are always under the great care of Mirah or Ashley and even Clara. Leaving them all alone in the care of the school, scared the shit out of her.

"Mom, come on, no one is going to kidnap us, unless you have a second reason why we shouldn't go there apart from me and Noelle being young," protested Zeke. 

"No, I am just worried and I will miss you guys so much you know, you will be gone for long hours before I see you back,"

"It's just the normal hours we are away in school. The thing is that we will go early but we will be back in your hands and you will see our faces again."

Daniella watched how they were trying all the means to make sure that they go on the said trip. She had her reasons why they couldn't go. The most obvious is because Davids is in New York but at the same time that was stupid because Davids doesn't have anything to do with school or even the children.

Clara heard them arguing and walked into their room.

"Is everything okay?" Asked Clara standing at the door.

"Mum doesn't want to allow us to go to New York, it's a school trip. We will be going to another school to mingle with the other children from that school," said Noelle.

"Hell no, you guys are not going to New York City, Dee tells them that it's dangerous to go there," protested Clara looking at Daniella who had all her hands on her face.

"What's wrong with you two? You are acting weird with a mere mention of New York City," said Noelle.

"Yeah, have you seen how auntie Clara had shouted and given us a loud no, it's like, it's illegal to say the word?" Added Zeke.

"It's nothing, you guys can go there, just make sure you take care of each other, I will give you enough money and a secret phone so that you guys can call me in case anything happens."

Clara looked at Daniella and dragged her out of the room. They got into Clara's room and Clara closed the door behind them.

"Are you mad? What if Davids by accident sees them, it's not like they are her children but Dee, Sorry to say this but Zeke took all your features, except that he has a penis and not a vagina, and that blond hair from Noelle, I don't know, where she got it from, but I swear that looks like Davids' hair, just saying so whoever you picked was looking like Davids on the hair side. If they by accident come across Davids, it's over for us."

"Are you listening to yourself speak? Davids doesn't care, and she knows nothing about the babies Clara. Maybe the person I got the babies from looked like Davids, but I wanted someone I didn't know anything about. I just hope it is not some asshole like Vin because I won't allow my children to inherit his weird behaviours. Davids never had sex with me so there is no way she is going to know these children. Just shut up and let them do whatever they do. They want to go out Clara, do you want to tie their legs and put a leash around their neck for them to stay in the house?" Asked Daniella.

"Fuck me, okay, maybe I will go pick them up, but it is a long drive, let them enjoy the school aeroplane that we paid for."

Clara sat on the floor. She looked so lost in her world. She didn't understand why Daniela would allow the two children to go to that far place and sje knows very well that it was not safe.

There was a knock at the door, Noelle and Zeke stood with hands folded on their chest glaring at both Clara and Daniella.

"Can you guys tell us the truth?" Asked Zeke. 

"What truth baby?" Asked Daniella standing up and bending to his height.

"That you two are lovers and we are products from an unidentified man?" Asked Noelle.

Daniella looked at Clara who in turn glared at her with a shocked face. They could t believe what they were hearing. 

"Who said that?" Asked Daniella trying to be calm with the two babies.

"You two argue every time like husband ad wife and my brother Zeke here kissed a boy in school so that doesn't scare me, maybe you two are lovers just tell us the truth mama "

"Look, we are not lovers, your mum and I are good friends since childhood, she is my sister that's why we always argue. It's not that we are lovers." 

Clara was trying all she could to tell the children about the situation.

"What about our dad?" Asked Zeke looking at his mother.

Daniel was lost on how to tell them that they were from an unidentified father. She looked at Clara. She didn't want to talk about this but looks like they were going to address the issue today.

"Come here," said Daniella patting the space on the bed for them. 

They sat on the bed, their legs swinging. Noelle was a bit taller than Zeke. Her legs were not that bringing and she was able to step down a bit.

"I didn't want to be married, so I decided to get someone who can help me get you two. The person whom I got was unidentified. I didn't know The person because I loved it that way, but if you want I can go to Ashley's mother to ask her if we can identify the person." 

Clara was left with her mouth wide open.

"We are sorry, we didn't mean to pressure you mum, we just wanted to know why we are always the only children without two parents to accompany them to school meetings," said Noelle looking at her mother.

"It's not that way, I knew I needed to talk about this with you guys some days, I just hope it ain't gonna change anything. Not a thing about me. It won't change anything that I feel for you guys. I love you both and came what, you are still my babies."

The two kids hugged their mother and Clara walked into the hug too.

When they were satisfied with the answer, they left their mother's room. 

"Don't you think they are too young to know the truth?" Asked Clara.

"No, they needed to know the truth. They might have been questioning themselves about the truth and they needed to know everything. They will have to decide what they want for themselves. I know they can handle anything."

Clara hugged her besties and placed a kiss on her forehead. 

"You are the strongest person I know Dee, you have two beautiful children and they love you so much."

"Can you imagine they thought we were lovers?" Asked Daniela.

"I was almost having a heart attack from that you know!"

They both laughed and sat on the bed.
