252: Let The Drama Begin!

She was unsure of what she was seeing. She didn't know if this is real or not. All she was seeing is mini-her when she was young. The hair, the height and the only difference were the dress code. At that age, she wore more boyish unlike this baby in front of her who was wearing a basketball jersey as if she was going on a match any minute from now. In her hands was the jacket that Rose claimed to have given a 'friend' who didn't have one. She wanted to run and look at the baby in front of her but, Rose beat her at the game. She grabbed the two hands of Zeke and Noelle dragging them towards Davids who smiled at him. Squatmg down to his height, Davids hugged him tightly, leaving the two kids beside him admiring their relationship.  Breaking the hug, Rose introduced the two cuties to her.  Davids was still squatting to look at the two kids in front of her. The boy had the features of Daniella. His almost blue eyes and blackish hair even his features were more of a girl than a boy. She turned her gaze back to Noelle who was looking at her with a worried face, she found her hands travelling to her hair, her shoulders and trying to look at her closely. Noelle had every feature that she had, the only difference was her hands, though they were long as Davids they were more like Daniella's. Her eyes were deep blue than her brother's. 

"Dad, you okay?"  Asked Rose.

Davids quickly withdrew her hands from the girl and smiled at Rose. She was not okay, she didn't know how these kids were inheriting more of her features.  she is not their father. She couldn't father anyone and the only thing she remembers was being in prison the whole time. She is clean, but looking at the kids again, she knew things were not okay here. 

The other family members were watching him concentrate on the three kids in front of her. 

"You see, she is also wondering who those kids are?" Said Vicky looking at her husband. 

Black didn't have anything else to tell his wife. Though he was sure that Vicky was not trying to insist that he cheated on her with someone else and now the truth is haunting him. 

"I bet I will find another girl who has the same characteristics and features as yours, then I will say you cheated on me too," said Black making Vicky slap his face. 

Damien and Clara were busy standing on the other end, they were facing each other as they wanted to say something but words couldn't form out of their mouths. 

"Maybe we keep this fire burning then add more firewood when we are from here?" Asked Damien. 

Daniella nodded and placed a kiss on his cheeks. They walked and stood next to the others watching the type of bonding that was going on between Davids and the three kids.

Damien decided to rescue Davids since he saw her lost in the kids' world and was finding it hard to get out.

"Okay, Rose, don't you think you've had enough time for the introduction?" Asked Damien.

"Come on uncle Damien, unless I get to take my two cousins to a tour in your company, this weekend," said Rose looking at him with mean eyes. 

   "Whatever man, you have a photoshoot this weekend, you can take  them with you, happy now?" 

Rose smiled showing her teeth while smiling at him. 

The three kids scattered away, and Davids was back in the world, she couldn't shake the thought that maybe the child was her or maybe someone else who looks like him is out in the world and gave Daniella the babies. 

                   "Davids, neet Claire."

Davids had been waiting for this moment to see how happy her best friend would be. She was happy for him and didn't want to see him getting any random girl to his bed to satisfy him. He had Clara now and they can solve their issue on their own without fighting, she hoped. 

Davids opened her arms and welcomed Clara, Clara was shocked that Davids extended her arms for her to walk into them. She tried to look back at Daniella to assure him that things are going to be okay. 

"Damn, you are more beautiful than high school, what have you been doing?" Davids didn't want to look awkward in front of Clara. She also doesn't blame her for what happened. Things take different directions sometimes and she understood that. 

"Nothing much, completed high school and here I am, took my degree in fashion design and some part-time journalism course," said Clara.

Davids nodded. She lived that, she didn't give up on life even after her aunt died and his parents were with her though she rarely goes home for unknown reasons.

Davids applauded her good work and told her not to worry because she has found herself in good hands. Clara smiled and leaned on Damien's chest. 

She wanted to say something but she didn't know if it was appropriate so she cleared her voice and went back silent. 

"So, aren't you going to claim your girl?" Asked Damien pointing at Daniella. Davids looked at the place he was pointing and Daniella stood there looking hopeless but Briann was by her side talking to her.

"She is someone's" that's all she said before getting inside the house.  Clara looked at her and was shocked by her words. She didn't imagine that Davids was going to use any of that to try and leave Daniella all stranded in their own house. She thought she will be welcoming as Damien but that was not Davids they knew about, she is somebody else. 

Damien grabbed Davids's hands and signalled for Clara to move inside the house. Walking with him to the kitchen section, Damien looked at her with an angry face. 

"What the fuck? We thought that this was us welcoming the whole group back?" Asked Damien.

Davids was not ready for this talk, she walked ahead into the kitchen and picked an apple munching on it. Damien grabbed the apple and threw it through the window. 

"Stop pretending man, look at me, look at me and tell me you don't live Daniella, look at me!" Shouted Damien.

"Look, I wanted you and Clara to be happy, you deserved it, man, look at how you looked, dishevelled. Getting every blond you can to your bed and then what? I am not that into Daniella, I have someone else and don't try to mess things up, fix yourself, we have a lunch that my mum and other house help have worked hard for. This subject is ov–,"

She couldn't finish her words, Damien slapped his face. He couldn't believe that Davids would be this heartless. He thought they had a deal. What was the need of bringing Daniella back if she knew very well she doesn't love her? This is going to be frustrating for Daniella every day. She is living in Davids's parents house and all she can do is try and be okay with everything, that is not going to be possible if Davids keeps acting like a jerk.

"Why did you slap me?" Asked Davids placing her hands in the area that he had hit. Damien claimed he wanted to give his head some sense since it didn't have any. 

Fixing his suit, Damien walked out of the room. Davids was left looking at the maid who stood by the door watching her all lost.

          "You okay?"

Davids nodded and asked her not to worry about her. She rescheduled her meeting that afternoon to an hour later. She understood the family lunch was going to fake lo her than usual so she had to be prepared. 

She walked back to the living room and found everyone already sitted down. Damien was next to Claire as if he was caging her not to run away. The three kids were seated next to each other, she watched as Rose helped them pile food on their plates. Vicky asked them to take a lot of food so that they can grow very fast. She remembered when they were kids and the only people around were her, Brian and their parents. They were always given a lot of food and told that they will grow faster. She didn't mind taking some from Brian's plate because he hated eating more.

She watched as her mother piled Daniella's plate with a lot of food and wondered if she changed her eating habit or if she is still on with eating diet. Trying to locate a place so that she can join others, there was only one seat remaining and she wondered whether she will be able to sit next to Daniella at this time of the day. 

"Davids, take a seat, we were waiting for you," said Black while looking in her direction. She caressed her forehead and went to sit next to Daniella. Everyone's eyes went to their side, Davids was squirming all over the seat, she didn't look comfortable sitting there, though she couldn't disobey her parents.

                "Let the drama Begin."
