243: It's Going To Be Okay.

The journey back home was not tiring. The students were excited and they kept talking about the school in New York City every minute. They talked about its beautiful classes, the gymnasium, and the way their food was nice. Other were happy that they got to meet some new friends. Some girls were talking about how cute some of the boys were from the school. The teachers were smiling hearing them murmur in quiet tones that were audible. They knew that it was a nice idea to pick a new York school for their field excursion. Some showed off the small souvenirs that they got from their friends. Some got their usernames on various games site, some got books and others got clothes.

Noelle was busy on the plane feeling cosy in the jacket that she was given by Rose. She kept herself warm feeling the softness and the tenderness that came with it. She wanted to twist the bracelet that she always has in her hand but it was not there then she remembered that she gave it out to Rose in exchange.

"I thought I was the only one who gave out their bracelets?"

Zeke was talking to her sister who sat in silence as she was smiling while holding her hands. He had also given Adrian his bracelet. He didn't know if it was okay because he always asks his sister if it was okay to give out something but he didn't ask this time around.

"You know Rose helped me with the jacket so I gave him in exchange. He gets the bracelet I get a jacket that way everyone goes home happy."

"Do you think we will ever come back? I want to see them again, they are good you know," said Zeke while looking at her sister.

Her sister chuckled and watched him frown. She knew their mother and aunt will try every means possible to make that hard for them. There is no way they are going to drive their car from home to New York, that is a long ride and their mother will be tired.

"Maybe if we ask them to come over, I know their parents can allow them to come though it's going to be hard," said Noelle.

Zeke sighed and looked out of the window. Noelle picked the snack from the jacket's pocket and gave one to her brother remaining with one and the other two she left for her mother and aunt.

When they arrived at their home Airport, parents were waiting for the various students. The school didn't want to take the children back to school because it was a tiresome job.

Daniella stood at the door of her car waiting for the children to be brought to the exit gate. Clara was busy on her phone looking at nothing in particular.

"Can you at least put your phone down for a minute?" Asked Daniella.

"Jeez, I was just trying to check if I got paid for the work that I did yesterday."

Clara walked closer to her and sat with her as they waited for Noelle and Zeke.

"What's bothering you so much?" Asked Clara.

"I just hope they are back okay and nothing happened to them. I don't just don't know what is wrong with me," said Daniella.

Clara held her hands and they waited for the two kids to walk out of the gate.

They watched as students started walking out one by one, sister and brother holding hands as they walked out.

"I can't see them," said Daniella when he saw adult people walking out of the exit and other children and already walked out.

Suddenly the two kids walked out of the exit.

"What is Nimo wearing? That is not her jacket she doesn't even wear jackets?" Shouted Clara when she saw Noelle with a big jacket covering her body.

Once they saw their mother and aunt, they quickly run and hugged them. Noelle hugged her mother and then went to her aunt, and so did Zeke.

"Wait, who's perfume is that?" Asked Daniella when she smelt a funny perfume on Noelle's body.

"Mom, come on, it can be anybody's. We were in a plane and there were a lot of people."

Daniella didn't believe that, she placed her nose on the jacket that Noelle was wearing and she could feel the smell. It was the strong perfume that she was familiar with. She wanted to think where she had smelt the perfume but at the same time, she was afraid to know the answer. It can be anywhere. Maybe from her employees or some other people whom she doesn't know about.

"Whose jacket is this?" Asked Clara.

"Rose!" Shouted Zeke.

Noelle wanted to say the reason she was wearing the jacket but too late Zeke had already said the name.

"Uh, who is Rose now, looks like you are excited about this girl Rose." Said Clara while helping them settle into the car.

"Rose is a bot and not a girl. He was Noelle's director for the day and he plays jazz, like a pro."

When he was done with his taking. Clara threw a glance at Daniella who shook her head in turn. She didn't want Clara to start talking all over the place because of the name.

"Noelle, so how was he? You have been quiet, not even giving us something."

Noelle just looked at them. She had seen the way Her auntie and mom exchanged looks but she didn't want to talk about it. Sje pretended like she didn't see anything about that glance. She didn't know which explanation she was going to give out to her aunt. She didn't want to talk about Rose because she didn't know what they wanted her to say.

She smiled and looked at them, getting them the two snacks that were in the picket sue handed them.

"Who gave you this?" Shouted both Claire and Daniella.

"Uhm, Rose, WHY?" asked Noelle.

"Nothing, just asking," Daniella said but Noelle could see how they were trying to lie to her that everything was okay but she knew that something was not okay. Looking at his brother who was lost in his thoughts she didn't know how she was going to tell him that something doesn't seem right here. There was no way she was going to ask him that.

She assumed everything and left them to drive so that they can arrive home in peace before they start an argument the way they always love starting their shouting.

Arriving in their home, the kids went to shower as they waited for Mirah to get them food. Danielle and Clara remained in the car.

"Please don't start, it can be anything." Said Daniella.

"Don't forget to tell me that Daniella. Who else do you know who loves these snacks? This is Damien and the perfume, can you feel the Gucci faint perfume? That is Davids. Tell me that was a coincidence? Just tell me it was coincidental and I get going."

Daniella didn't reply, she just held her head down and focused on the steering wheel. She knew anyone can wear the perfume and the snacks, anyone can get the snacks.

"So, you want to tell me that Davids is now in school teaching? Or she is married and has kids who are now going to school? Or what do you mean?"

Daniella was trying to think straight but she couldn't.

"Maybe Damien is now married and has kids, that's what I meant," said Clara in a low tone.

"So he had married Davids?" Asked Daniella looking at Clara with a shocked face.

"Wait, what? Fuck you not that? Jeez, that can be the worst disaster. I am not thinking about that. Maybe Davids just visited and it happened that they met with Damien's children and then it happened."

"It doesn't add up yet Clara. Let's just assume, maybe it's just coincidental. Remember they went to an expensive school. In there, they could have met anyone but not Davids and Damien again," said Daniella.

She was not content though, she knew very well things might take a drastic channel. Then Daniella remembered that her son talked about Jazz. The only person who plays jazz is Davids. Though she might not be the only person in the world there is no way another kid would have sang the song the way Davids used to. She used to have this unique way of adjusting her tune using the jazz instrument. She wished she could see this kid that her children were talking about. She also remembered that Zeke talked about Adrian and how funny he was.

She did t know if the idea of letting the kids go to New York was nice, she hoped that things won't change because she didn't want them to change. Prying at Clara, she watched her look at something. She was so engrossed in the picture that she couldn't even lift her eyes. Looking at the picture on her phone, it was the picture of Damien with her in Hawaii

Daniel let her be because she didn't want to fight with her anymore. She understood she was suffering and didn't know how to help her through it. She wanted her to be happy the way she used to be. She stretched her hands and placed them on her shoulder.

"It's going to be okay."
