302: Daniella ......... Nimo

Davids looked at the phone and the person she was talking with. It was the school principal. She didn't want to imagine what had happened to Nimo. Just this morning they had a conversation about how she was going to get her watch fixed so that it can be tight on her hand. Right now, all she's hearing is that she is not fine. Which 'not' fine were they talking about? She quickly ended the call and grabbed her phone calling her bodyguards. They all rushed into the office and David's alerted Dominic and his team to arrive at school at once. She took the chopper and went to school. 

She wanted to calm Brian and ask her about Daniella but decided to keep quiet. Daniella will panic and start rumbling all over the place. The other person she called was her dad. She asked her to make sure her mom doesn't need to know anything that is happening.  Her father was frustrated that he can't help her in any way. He was sad that his daughter was making him take care of his wife while she battled everything alone.

Running into the school, she found the principal standing by the door all worried, she looked sad and feared that the next step Davids was going to take will be slapping her on the face but that didn't happen.   

Rose and Zeke we picked from their classes carefully without creating any tension. They were questioned if by any chance they had seen Nimo but Zeke denied seeing her saying he was busy in his art class while Rose was busy trying to make sure that Abrianna was okay from the little flu that she had. 

Dominic was already in the area, they were scavaging around the compound trying to look for any sign of Nimo, They founder her watch dropped in the girl's bathroom, looks like she was from her P.E and it fell accidentally. In the second opinion that was not the reason, they found her flops left in the washroom something she didn't do. She wears them when walking in and out no matter what. Her hair band was also in the bathroom and she can't do better with her hair all over the place messing her up. 

Jade saw Davids around the place and his dad in the school, he became worried that something bad had happened, he hid and walked close to his uncle Pete who was helping them search all the places in the school. 

                     "What is going on uncle Pete?"

Pete looked around and found him speaking trying to raise her head. 

"Your crush is lost and we can't find her, any idea where she can be at?"

Jade raised his brows, he was with Nimo this morning trying to confront her about the chocolate bar she took from his locker, and at the same time, they forgave each other and Nimo promised to get him a bar of new chocolate. During break time, they were together again, helping Nimi fix her watch that was falling off her wrist because she insisted she must have the watch. Jade later helped her with his P.E shirt because Nimo's was torn on the armpits.  Listening to Pete tell him that Nimo is not around shocked him, he wanted to be in the team helping out but he was taken back to class. That didn't hinder him from urging his classmates to start looking around for any signs of Nimo. 

Zeke and Rose were flown back to their grandmother's home while Davids and the team searched around. Unluckily for them, they didn't have any cameras in the school's washroom and the back entrance camera was disabled. 

Davids wanted to shout at the administration for not checking in the cameras but calmed down, she knows even in her organization, things might go south, and later on, she won't know what happened. They looked around until Davids's Phone started ringing. It was a new number and Dominic and the team were ready with their devices to track The call. 

              "Dad, dad it's me Nimo. Nimo remembers me, dad."

Nimo was shedding tears, it's like she didn't recognize herself or her voice and wanted her dad to acknowledge her presence when talking on the phone.

"Yes, baby I know you, baby, are you alright? Is everything alright? Where are you, baby?"

Nimo cried on the phone, Davids wanted to cry but she had to be strong. She didn't want to make her daughter feel like she can't do anything.

"I am sorry daddy, I am sorry I lost the watch, it got lost and I can't see it in my hands, and my hair is messy and the room is dark, I can't see anything in the room dad, it's like the pig sty and I can't see anything and I don't want to be in the dark."

David noticed that Nimo was frantic, she was having a panic attack, one thing she has never heard in her life.   she was afraid. After some minutes, cleared her voice dad and talked to her dad like she got all her act together which surprised everyone in the room. 

"Baby, it's going to be okay, you are going to be fine. Who is next to you? Can you see anyone next to you?"

"No dad, all I can feel is bleach and washing soap the one we use to wash things, and the smell that comes after we are done cleaning the toilets. I can't see anyone. "

While Davids was trying to talk with her daughter, Dominic and the team were assembling all the workers in the place, one person was missing, The cleaning lady.

"What about any noise, can you hear anything? Just focus on my voice then try to listen to anything outside."

"That is enough, David's, don't you think?"

Davids was familiar with that voice, she has a head with that voice somewhere. 

"Fuck, Amanda, what do you want with the baby? Why did you take the baby, just let her go?"

Amanda chuckled from the other end. She was laughing while looking at Nimo who was afraid but looking all tough in front of her. 

"You took something from Me, Davids. My only daughter, Davids, and now, I get to take the only things that you love in your life. This beautiful baby is in front of me. She is everything I wanted. You took my daughter and now you turned her against me, bi will also take your daughter and turn her against you?

Davids breathed heavily into the engine, trying to think of a way to save her daughter from all the drama. She was happy that Daniella was not around and become afraid of anything. 

"Amanda, you know very well that Nimo is Daniella's child and she will kill you if you take her child away from her. The children are the main reason she is still breathing after your brother almost killed her. You want also to kill her?"

"Take it slow Davids, we all know very well that you are not going to get this kid if you don't bring Daniella to me, I want her, and I will give you your daughter back."

Davids couldn't believe what she was hearing right now. How can she trade the people she loves? Telling Daniella that Amanda has her kids and wants her in exchange for someone else who is going to make her run mad. She feared Daniella is going to give the and let Nimo go freely. At some point, she is going to blame her but it's not like Davids is to be blamed but still, she was supposed to protect them.

"So, if I was you, I could be calling Daniella and telling her that her mother wants to meet her. She will gladly show her face to me without any pressure."

Davids was unsure about that. She knows very well that it's hard for Amanda to let go of the baby in exchange for Daniella. It's either she was going to take both of them. 

"Give me my daughter, I need to speak with her. Please make sure her hair is tied so that she can see around, also give her light, she loves light. Without that, I am not getting you, Daniella. "

Amanda gave Nimo the phone. Nimo was looking sideways when the lights were finally put in place. She wanted to save herself from everything and help her father find her easily. 

      "Dad, you know I don't love trains yeah? "

David was shocked because there is no day Nimo has ever said that she hated the train or anything like that. 

She had to agree with what she was saying, maybe Nimo was trying to give her some heads up on what to do. The other team was listening to what she was saying. 

"Plus you know very well China is a town where I love eating my sushi?"

That gave Davids an idea, it's either her daughter is near China town or the place is near the train station. She smiled listening to her stupid lectures which are going to help her. 

the team was nodding to Davids to go on talking to Nimo as they wrote about everything she was talking about.

"What about broccoli, would you still live with broccoli?"

"No, they don't have some nice broccoli in china town but in the nearby mall they might have."

"Enough of the drama, make sure you have Daniella in three hours, I will call you with directions."

The line went dead and no one was speaking from it. Everyone was quiet and they looked at each other. 

                      "What next?"
