317: You Were Planning To Hit me Too?
"What? You mean this whole time I have been staying with murderous inside my house? I knew there was something fishy about you two, why did you even do that? I have been staying for years thinking about that day turns out you guys were responsible for everything that happened. You were the ones who made life unbearable for me as I tried to think who messed my head up that night, I hated that, I couldn't even remember anything in my life. To add the salt to the wound, one week later you guys decided to testify against my daughter, Davids, you made her life horrible, you made her life a mess. Do you even love her? Daniella, do you love her to start with? She is everything to me and my husband. After Brian, we look at her. She is the air that I need to breathe in this world. Daniella was broken the minute she saw the look on Mum Vicky's face, she felt dejected. She wanted to just go down and cry, hurry alive. She hated that she had to take care of things after this. She hated that her children will grow up alone fearing the same thing that they feared. They will be asking about, daddy whom she doesn't know. Even miss Smith doesn't know anything about him.
She went on her knees and cried, she wailed calling Mum Vicky's name and Mum Vicky was not looking at her, she was standing at the door. Her hands were at the door trying the knob but Clara couldn't let this go on. She run and stood in front of the door while looking at Miss Vicky.
"She was stupid and naive, she was never herself most of the time. She loves your daughter with every nerve in her body. She would even die just to let her children be with Davids. What if she could have stayed with Vin, imagine the kind of torture that kids looking like your daughter would have to go through. We might even be surprised to find out the they are truly Davids' children only that can't happen. Please, look at the girl who came to you today, doesn't even look at me, look at her. She has decided to come clean before she commits herself to your daughter. Though we know she is ready to commit to your daughter. Give her a second chance, I know Davids might throw her out of her house but with you, we know you would have forgiven her."
Mum Vicky sighed and looked down at the floor. She didn't know the answer to give the two girls in front of her. Though no one talks about the issue anymore, she didn't know how to feel about them. She looked up and Clara knitted her brows.
"Seriously, you are laughing, right now?"
Mum Vicky busted into laughter and looked at Clara who was standing in front of her. She asked her to go back to the sit.
"You guys are so stupid. Okay, Daniella calms down, stop with the cry, I am not going to throw you out. Maybe you should be worried about Davids, she might even cancel the wedding."
Daniella stopped crying and was just sitting with her running nose. She looked at Mum Vicky and rushed to hug her. She knew she was the only person she can call mum now ease no one else was going to replace all the things she has done for her.
"Thank you, thank you very much, please, I am sorry again for what happened."
Mum Vicky sat her down and looked at both of them. She knew that they were worried but they don't have to be worried, if Daniella had decided to come clean then she can as well tell Davida who will have to decide whether to forgive her or be angry at her.
"Look, it's not like I didn't know who attacked me, I had to play dumb. I didn't know that night, but after sleeping and waking up, I heard your voices inside my head and I knew you guys were the ones who did that. I couldn't confront any one of you because I knew you were sent to do something bad to my family but you decide to let everything be. I am happy that you have told me today. I am happy that you came clean. I told my husband after a month and I didn't want him to get angry. We knew that maybe you were also under pressure but every investigation that we had done didn't yield enough results. Maybe you will have to tell only Davids and if she will agree and be okay with everything, it's going to be okay. You know I can't influence her judgment right?"
Clara and Daniella nodded though they were in shock listening to Mum Vicky say that they knew already it was them who did that. They were embarrassed that they have been walking around but someone else knew what they did and they didn't do anything to them.
Mum Vicky assured them that everything is going to be fine and they had nothing to fear about. As much as she was trying to make them feel better and console them, Daniella had everything to fear about. What will happen when Davids knows about it? She feared that maybe Brian also knew but she never spoke about it. She started figuring out how she was going to tell Davids who was eagerly waiting for her during the practice.
"Hey, don't have that bad feeling every time, I know Davids will be mad but at the end of it she is going to come around, I will try to make her understand that you guys were naive and you were being used. Don't think much about it."
Clara was nodding but for Daniella, it was like she was glued and didn't want to say anything to help with the situation. She knew the possibility of Davids saying it's okay is at, zero, and the chances of her saying, get the fuck out! Is hundred percent. She stuck with the hundred percent while bidding Mum Vicky a goodbye.
"I think I will just write her a note and go for a while before I surface back, I will have to go and be somewhere for a while. Maybe hide at Mum Vicky's house."
Clara was sad too, She knew Daniella was going through a lot and her mind was packed. There is no way they were going to make things better by going into Mum Vicky's house. Daniella has to say everything to Davids, face her and let her take the necessary actions that are needed.
They agreed to tell them when they are done with The practice. They headed to the practice as how they agreed. They used Daniella's car while the driver took Clara's car back home. Daniella was thinking of how she was going to say everything to Davids.
"Are you sure you are okay, you have been missing steps in practice, that's unlike if you?"
Daniella was in the bathroom taking her shower when Davids posed the question for the fourth time. She insisted that she was okay and there was nothing to be worried about. She rinsed herself and stood in the bathroom rehearsing how to say everything to Davids.
She walked out of the room and failed to catch the sight of Davids, she sighed and did everything quickly before getting into bed. She sat on the end and looked at her phone.
There were thirty missed calls from Clara! Word, 'emergency' was written in capital letters. Looking at the door, Davids was standing there, looking all furious, her eyes were red and she had a drink in her hands. Something that she has never seen her do. She threw the glass in the way and it broke down into small pieces making Daniella jump in shock. She stood with her hands akimbo looking at Daniella.
"Is there something you probably want to tell me? I have been wondering which girl carcass can two ladies probably be going to speak about early in the morning, so you went to discuss how to hit my head too? Why would you fucking do that to my mother? Daniella, I could have taken it with me, I understood why you had to confess that I raped you but why did you hit my mother that night? Turns out she is fine with everything and she's telling me to be fine too, are you happy? No, I can't be fine with that!"
Daniella quickly jumped out of bed and rushed to Davids but she was out of her sight. She was left crying while Holding her bed sheet to her bosom. She didn't know what to do. She tried to call her but she was not responding. She was left all alone. She watched as the study room lights were opened and she knew she won't get out of that place. She will drown herself in books and won't speak to her.
Ashley was not asleep. She has been texting some guys who claimed to have a crush on her after the part that they want with Brian and his boyfriend. She was just satisfying their needs by texting back. When she first heard the shattering of glasses, she thought that maybe someone threw the glass accidentally. The second sound that came through told her that was not an accident and that something might be happening. She heard Davids shouting at Daniella for doing something that she didn't quite catch.
She has never heard them shout at each other. She has had her parents quarrel though but she didn't interrupt. As for these two, she has been with them and she knew this was not going to be good. She looked at Nimo and she was sleeping while smiling. Waking up from her side of the bed she opened the door for her to see Daniella crying on the door and Davids was headed to the study room downstairs. She sneaked and went to Daniella's room, she found her crying on the bed.
"Are you okay? I heard breaking glass."
Daniella tried to hide her face and pulled the blankets closer to her but Ashely knew very well that she was crying.
"I messed up, I did something very bad and she has found out. I thought telling her was going to make things okay."
