295: A Letter!

Sitting in my office, I was busy going through a lot of things today. I wanted to make sure that I prepare everything for the final meeting. Mum and Dad are supposed to have their anniversary today and I don't know how to do it. Too bad neither Andrew nor Annie are around to make sure things go in place. I know Brian can be counted and so is Daniella. 

Speaking of her, all I have is smiles, smiles on my face, yesterday was amazing and mind-blowing, enough of the story I need to focus on my work. 

"Excuse me, you have a letter, I haven't seen you receive a letter in a while, who might it be from?"

All the happy faces that I had with me precipitated like dew on the grass in the morning. I asked my secretary to get me some gloves as I prepared myself to open the letter. I usually don't receive letters if anything. All the things are sent to my email and to have someone special deliver my gift. The person who sent me this, I don't know him or her and I need to be careful when opening this letter. I have heard people going blind after getting a random letter that contained some powder or someone contracted the flu through the powder. I need to take all the precautions to make sure I don't fall, victim, I haven't seen my baby girl in the white dress that is starting to dominate my mind and I haven't seen my grandkids yet.  Early to go blind, dont you think I checked the envelope that my secretary gave me, I was not satisfied with anything right now. The envelope looked old, unlike someone serious about sending a letter.  I asked my secretary to get me some glasses plus, I had to move to an important room to make sure that the letter was not intended to harm anyone in any way. I went into the conference room, I settled myself down and looked into the letter in front of me.

Fuck it, if I die, I die, it won't kill me to open the letter.  I look at it and carefully tear the edge without messing anything in them. With my mask and glasses in place, the gloves to make sure that I don't do anything stupid. I open the letter. 

It didn't have an address on it. It looked to have been written hurriedly. It wasn't long either.  So I didn't know who might have sent it to me.

'if you are reading this, probably I have done a grave mistake that I don't want to do but I have no otherwise but to do it. I have been holding this for a while now but allow me to say how sorry I am, Davids,  I am sorry for all the pain you had to go through in your life spending seven years behind bars for a mistake you didn't do. Daniella was taken away from you by someone who was so selfish and only thought about himself other than thinking about others. I am sorry and these are the coordinates if you want to find the man who did this. I am sorry but you might find him dead and his body decomposing I have the document that says everything about him. I have evidence of what happened that day, and I am not going to tell you unless I have a full immune and won't be jailed forever in prison. I might be asking a lot but, no, I am not asking for a lot. I am just asking for a favor to see my parents once more, I want to tell them that I say I am sorry for fucking this up. Please tell Your mum, Vicky, how sorry I am for blowing up the opportunity that could have changed my life forever. I was stupid and I was led into thinking that someone had his best intention for me. I was not seeing I was blind. He had an obsession with Daniella which disgust me and I don't think it's good for him to do that. He has hurt me enough and I think it's fine he gets what is coming to his wat, death, that's why I am going to do what I am supposed to do, kill him, decapitate his head and if possible fry it and eat the body parts because I miss the taste of meat. I have nothing but had to you, sorry justice takes longer than we expect. I hope you find peace after this. Please kiss your three babies for me because that is a gift I will never get a chance to lay a hand on. He jas hurt people enough and he is even crazy! Please hurry you might be able to save him if it's too late, just make sure you reveal his face to the media, I know the girls he molested will be flooding the police station and crying about their life taken away from them. I couldn't believe that Lady Bo was destined to finish Vin off!

Sorry mum, sorry dad but I am going to miss your anniversary, I am going to make sure I make it up to you. I wrote the card quickly and orders some huge bouquets to be sent to them after that, I had to call Damien, I bet he is still smiling with Clara in the office trying to seduce each other. 

"Please, tell me you have some mind-blowing information that you want to share because you are not supposed to be disturbing me at this time! 

Yeah, fucking yeah, just yourself and your video man I need you right now. Clara can manage the company while you are home and tell her to make sure she attends my parents' anniversary. I don't want any drama with them when I am not there. You should be in my elevator by the time I end this call. Ormy lobby. Damien in case you are not here by that time, I am fucking leaving your ass behind!

"Davids, what's going on? what's with the rush that you have to do to call me this time?"

This was not the man I wanted, this is his boss. It will still do

Dominic, I need your ass somewhere, I have a lead to whatever your investigator was doing and I want us to go there now. You won't give me no for an answer, bring your men, I need protection for my wife and children.

"Sorry, he is absent, he had to take his wife for an emergency scan in the hospital but am here and I am going to help you. Anything that you want to do will be done!"

I quickly briefed him we agreed to meet at the location. This was serious, I had to make sure that we get into the place and my children had to be removed out of school at this time, though that is is going to cause problems with their classmates, maybe just ask my team and everyone else to stay calm and wait for them. I will ask my parents to pick them up instead of Daniella picking them up. I also had to tell Daniella's professor to convince her that she doesn't have to go to her classes today. That is the only way to make sure that she doesn't get out of Brian's eyes. 

"is everything okay Davids, you been out of place? Do you want me to help you with something?"

I was confused, I had to handle a lot of things at once before I leave the place. I didn't want anyone to get hurt even a bit. I had to make sure that my family stay safe and that nothing happens to them not even a scratch. 

Yeah, would you make sure you keep yourself safe when I am gone, you are my favorite secretary and I love you very much. Just make sure no one disturbs you, The guards will be at this place in seconds, and make sure that you do your daily work as usual. Unless I call you, don't pick up any call from the number line that is not my number even my parent, okay?

My secretary stared at me as words were flying out of ng mouth until I was done.

She nodded and went to sit back in her station. She has been working for this family for so long and I don't think it will be good not to think of her. I quickly walked to the elevator but Damien was inside with his came man, I thought I said Lobby what part of the lobby is new to him.

"Yeah, you can start stalking now that you made me come here, what is it? Plus I am not going to waste my time if you are not going to make it look like have you proposed to Daniella, or, are your mother and father having a divorce? Did Annie and Drew break up? please don't say that Nimo had gotten a scholarship to play for the lakers at this time of the year, she is young?"

    Damien is never serious in life. 

Hey, switch the cameras off we at not broadcasting anything in my office. You will never try to do that and now let's head downstairs a Damien, get a grip. If you cant see dead bodies or a slashed head make sure you stay and let your cameraman do the job.

Quickly I shoved them back into the elevator and we all headed downstairs there I met Dominic who was helping me. He owns a big investigating group and it's from his team that I get all my bodyguards. 

He showed me the trusted guys that will help me. 

"Hello, I am Pete, is there anything you want me to do?"

Dominic introduced him as his most trusted brother and important person. There is no other place where I can take him if not to my three babies in school. And then in my home when they are picked up from school. The others were dispersed to various places that are important to me. Dominic and The rest of the team accompanied me in the direction of the coordinates. I hope to get something tangible mad not some drama-filled area. I hope taking Dominic and Damien to this ride is worth it and if not then I didn't know what I am going to do.

We used different routes and different cars to make sure we are not noticed.
