319: It's Cancelled!

"Look here guys, it's easy, you are either on my side or you are out mum, do you remember how it was hard for you to remember anything? How you were trying to remember and all you could do was shed your tears every day? I can't forgive her hat easily and I wonder why you forgave her and even allow her to come here."

Davids was called back home in the day because she was acting stubborn with the idea that Daniella should be forgiven. They were sitting at the table with her parents, Brian, Annie, Andrew, and Damien. They wanted to talk about how to go about the issue. They didn't see why Davids would create a fuss instead of listening to them. 

"Trust me, at this rate, I am even considering the idea of canceling the wedding. I can't do this, I can't live with someone who almost killed your mum."

Davids looked angered and wanted to smash anything that was in front of them over everyone else was looking at her, they all widened their eyes watching how she was spitting words like a snake that is trying to transfer its venom to its prey.

"I lied Davids, I lied, I remembered everything, and the tears were just made up. I didn't want to ruin what you guys had, it is not true that I couldn't remember."

Davids raised her brows and looked at everyone at the table. Turns out she was the only one who was surprised by what was just said.

She stood from the seat and held her head in her hands while pacing back up and forth in the room. 

"Wait, am I the only one who thought all this was true but has found out was a lie? I mean I knew mum had forgotten everything. Brian, didn't you know all this was a lie?"

Brian didn't reply to her. She wanted today something but Davids lifted her hands to shut him up. She looked at Uncle Drew who was now playing with his hands like a baby caught stealing sugar from the pantry. 

"What about you uncle Drew, did you know about this?"

Andrew raised his head and looked at everyone else but their heads were held down, for reasons unknown to Davids. 

             "I ....... I wanted to a...say bi...."

"Don't even say anything else, I can't believe that you guys were the ones hiding something from me. If all this time you knew about it,  why didn't you tell me, what did you take me for? You thought I couldn't the handle news?  Do you think, I don't know what to do when someone wrongs me? Or do you think I will cry? No, I don't cry! The last time I cried was when someone forced a fork inside my belly and I had to fight it so bad to make sure that everything is in control. That was the last time I cried and I remember, that was me in prison. I can't take everything, mum. Now that you guys divided to keep everything from me and now you want me to turn the other cheek, I think you all should forget about it. The wedding is canceled and I am not going to get married anytime soon, maybe never!"

David's pushed the chair back and stood from the table, she walked outside, signaled her driver, and was driven out of the compound. She headed to school to pick up the kids and make sure that they were safe. Nimo was dropped at her practicing place with the guards, God, she hated the idea. 

At home she didn't find Daniella there, she was happy that she didn't run into her because right now her temper was in her throat and anything small was ready to trigger her to do anything bad to her and she didn't want that to happen in front of the kids.

She dropped the kids off and asked Mirah to make sure they have a shower and do everything needed. Rose and Zeke looked at Davids and noticed that her tone was different from the normal tone that she uses on them. She didn't mean to be angry but she couldn't help but feel the anger and betrayal from her family members who thought she has not old enough to handle the news.

She left to pick up Nimo and asked one of the guards to pick Daniella up from her university classes. She was not in the mood of going there right now. Arriving in Nimo's practicing zone, she found Ashely was there already carrying the bag while Jade was not in sight today. She didn't need another person to make her angry for nothing. 

She honked the car for them to rush up and they started their journey back home.

             "You haven't picked mum from classes today?"

Davids didn't know which lie to pull now, she knew her daughter will know that they are not on good terms and she didn't want them to see that, she smiled and looked at Nimo who was can behind the bar.

"She left classes early and was picked up with the guards, how was your first day back to school?"

Nimo kept quiet then looked at Davids through the mirror.

"I am as good, just some mild images here and there but I did everything. Am doing pretty well and it's not like I left school and went homeschool for two months. I am happy that Jade's mother was a good tutor I will recommend her."

David's nodded and packed the car in the parking space. They met with Daniella and Davids didn't know what to do or what to say. She smiled at Nimo who went and hugged her mother. She didn't know how she will feel when she tells them, that they are no longer having a wedding because it can't happen. 

Ashley looked at her and shook her head as she rolled her eyes at Davids, she left her and want to say hi to Daniella who was standing there looking all lost while her eyes were still red.

"Dad, come see, her eyes are still red and she is having a running nose."

Davids didn't know whether to walk it just to avoid everything. She forced her body and lazily walked to her. She could see that her eyes were swollen and she tried her best to play along so that Nimo won't notice anything wrong.

She wanted to tell her that her mother was just crying because Daddy won't entertain her drama but she couldn't. 

           "I am going to get her some medicine, I will be back."

Davids escaped from them and went back into her car. She felt bad being there, she didn't see the need of standing next to a woman who almost killed her mother.  Her blood was boiling and needed some time alone to think everything through. She didn't know whether to forgive her or to just let her be. She was tired and thought the correct thing we to figure her out, but the more she thought of it, she couldn't help but get mad at her.

She drove just around and didn't know where she was driving at. She just drove through the shops looking at everything. She got into the mall and got hold of two big chocolate for the kids but then realized that they are four of them, she decked to get the jawbreakers and some chocolate though they were supposed to consume any of that until the weekend. She picked some groceries which she knew very well, there were not needed She picked some tablets for Daniella's running nose thought it was not important at that point. Driving along, she went up to the cafe and bought coffee for everyone though she knows very well the children might be taking supper, she probably needed to bribe them and make them forget everything.

The only days they are supposed to eat take out were on the weekends which is exceptional because sometimes they are tired or when Davids doesn't feel like cooking anymore. Lastly, she picked herself some mints from her favorite store that she takes because the previous one has run out and she needed some. Done with the shopping, she decided to stroll when she saw Jade walking alongside a girl. She whistled and they looked at her. Jade was pretending to have not noticed me until the girl looked over at me and started running.

"Do you prefer to walk a girl in the streets instead of going to practice?"

Jade shook his head and looked down. David's held her anger, she didn't want to transfer her anger and frustration at this boy though as much as she wanted to.

          Is she gone now?"

"Yeah, her parents live in the apartment near the mall I think she is gone."

"Goodlet us go home and you will explain how you sneaked from school and went to smash a girl, did you even use a condom?"

Davids was afraid to ask him anything at that point. He was ashamed as he walked with Davids, she ordered a cup of coffee for him and they went to her car. 

"Don't be foolish Jade, your life is in front of you. It's good to have fun but be cautious of how you are having fun,  you don't want to get her pregnant and regret that the rest of your life."

Jadeglaredd at him and almost choked on his drink.

            "I am only fourteen."

"Yeah and the last time I checked the youngest parents were only nine years old. Jump and go home before I call your parents.

Jade rushed and thanked her for the coffee. She decided on what she wanted to do. She arrived at the house with everything and placed the coffee cups in front of the kids and asked them to pick one each. Nimo took one to her mother and the medicines.

Daniel knew it was time to talk now and there will be no other time. Sje strolled to the bedroom and found Daniella sitting on the bed. Sje raised her head and looked at her.

      "Davids, can we speak?"

             "Yes to my lawyers about the custody of the children."

        "What, are my children?"

         "And I was the donor!"
