CHAPTER 52

It's been months since Linda left and no day passes by that Joshua doesn't think about her. Sometimes you just say things or face and think about what she is doing where she is and how their baby is also doing. He knows that Linda will soon give birth but unfortunately he does not even know their baby's sex.

Zion and Amaka's relationship is progressing as he is succeeding in talking her away from her bad ways every day and making her see that there are better ways to live your life even though you have been through a lot. Zion made Amaka understand that whatever happened between her and Fred was just a phase that she had to go through in life to learn a lot and she doesn't have to take it out on others because it's not fair. When life teaches us lessons we are supposed to take from those lessons and teach others not to make the same mistakes that we have made in the past. The last question he asked Amaka a few days ago was her purpose in life. He told Amaka that nobody lives a life without purpose because when you do that you never get satisfaction from anything that you do.

When Zion asked Amaka her purpose a few days ago, she thought about it for a while before telling him "my purpose right now is to make lots of money so that nobody can talk to me anyhow or take advantage of me. Just imagine that we had money in my family, would Fred have been able to do what he did to me? Zion my only purpose in this life is to make money and I don't care how I make the money because the only goal is just to make it. When you brought me to see your parents the other day if your sister had succeeded in showing those pictures to your mother do you think that I will still be with you today? Or if I have not managed my resources and opened those businesses which I have would your mother have accepted me as a poor girl from a poor background with nothing? She would have seen me as a liability and will not even care about my character. I do not wish to be who I am or how I am, it is the world that made me this way and it is also the world that gave me this purpose. Many people say that I'm a bad person but does anybody decide to wake up one day and become evil or was any child born evil? The world made us all the way we are. Nobody becomes your friend or comes close to you because they feel like it. We are all each other's friends and partners because we want something from each other. I am with you because you keep me afloat at times when I am down and you are the only person who has ever known my story and not look at me differently. You are also with me because I can easily pleasure you as not every woman can take the size of your dick. So you see, we all use each other in different ways and it doesn't matter how you use a person. Whether you call it love, lust, or mutual benefit, at the end of the day it is still true that we are with each other because we can get something from each other. Life is all about business and nobody does business to lose that's the reason why love without money can dies easily. Probably, you would have taken Fred's treatment differently but I took it the way that I can understand and bear it and I don't think I deserve to be judged for that. I also take things from people by force because that is the only way to get what you want. Nobody gives you a treasure because they want to. It is either you steal it, buy it, or get it through other means. Zion, I understand your morality but you and I are not the same people and it will take me a very long time to see things how you see them and I may not be able to ever share the same views as you." 

Zion held her hand and told her that for the first time since he knew her, she spoke from her heart without being forced to." Amaka I would like to let you ponder on some things. Do you know that you could be a motivational speaker? You have been through a lot in your life and you have learned a lot.  How about you take everything that you have learned and teach every young person out there not to make the same mistakes that you have made? How about you add other things to your purpose of making money? You are very good at creating stories that do not exist and scheming. With good training on content creation, you can be a very good writer and there are also a lot of young men and ladies in the world waiting to hear your story and also waiting for someone who will tell them that the path that they are on is the wrong one. There is someone out there saying God give me a sign by telling someone to tell me to stay away from this man or this woman. There is that woman who has been abused like you or even worse and her mental state is not strong enough to take it so she wants to end her life and all she needs is you to tell her that it will all be okay. All she needs is for you to tell her that she can make it and she can become a better person who is valued again if only she will listen to your voice for guidance. Everything that has happened to you brought you where you are today and it is your responsibility to rescue others. This is also a purpose which I would like you to think about because you will make money for yourself and also help others out of their problems. I want you to imagine how you will feel when someone comes out and says I am alive today or I am safe today because I listened to what Amaka said." 

 When Zion was done talking, Amaka began to ask herself the good that she did in her former life that made her meet a person like Zion who will never judge you for who you are rather he will try to steer you on the right path and make you see more options to life by making you see that you have potential. Zion does not believe that anyone is useless as he will always tell you that you have not found your potential that's the reason why you feel useless because nobody is useless.

Kamsy and Lota have gone to registered their marriage because she is in the ninth month of her pregnancy and will give birth at anytime soon and he does not want to have children outside wedlock. They invited a few close friends to their reception and Joshua was also there. Every time he sees Lota, he remembers Linda as he wonders how she is doing because even she will give birth very soon as the time apart in their pregnancies is close.

Kamsy looks very happy as he couldn't believe that finally, he is married to the love of his life. He looked into Lota's eyes and said "before I met you, I was hanging out with my friend Joshua and the two of us were known as the Notorious Two, and many ladies in town knew us as some of them wanted to have a taste of us while some do not want to encounter us at all after the stories that they have heard. Some who have encountered us, do not want to have a second encounter with us as they ran away from us like plagues every time that they see us. I never pictured myself getting married and having a family someday as I have always thought that I will live the kind of life that I am living till the end. I was married to a devil incarnate who I was hoping to get free from but she refused to let me go until she pushed me to meet you. Although you are young, you still came into my life and changed it as you made me see that life is beautiful. You made me learn what forgiveness is and you also taught me how to love. Today I am promising you that I will always love you and our children and I will never do anything to hurt you. You and these babies are my only family because I have none. You made everything that has always seemed like a dream to me come true and I will love you till the day that I die. Even if something happens and you walk away from me, I am promising you that I will never give up on you as I will keep waiting for you." 

Lota was already in tears before her husband was done talking. She was wiping off her tears when she said to him "I thought that my life was over when I just met you, but little did I know that it was only the beginning of a better life for me. You are my beginning and you will be my end because you are all that I ask God for. You are my husband, my father, and my everything. I don't know where I would have been or what would have happened to me if I never met you. When Sade told me to always remember the father, I never knew who the father was but now I know that the father can also be you. We cannot see the future so we can never say anything about the future, but if a day comes that I forget who you are, I will like you to always tell me our story and never forget not to omit the part where we spent the night on the road inside your car after having an adventurous night because it seems that part is one of the favorite parts of our stories to me. I love you and I will always love you." 

The couple decided to have a dance and while they were dancing, her water broke so they went from the reception to the hospital and a few hours later, the good news was heard that she has given birth to a boy and a girl.

Kamsy became the happiest man on Earth as he couldn't believe that he also became a father on the same day that they registered their marriage. He smiled to himself as he said "this day is really special as it has made itself a day that we will always remember." He couldn't wait to go in and see his wife and babies as he could feel his hands shaking after he imagined carrying the babies because he knows that they will be very little but the funniest thing is that he has never seen a newborn baby before as all he has ever seen are pictures and videos but for the first time today, he will see and hold newborn babies and the happiest part is that they are his.

 By the time he walked into the ward, his wife has been cleaned up along with the babies. He quickly walked towards her and gave her a kiss on her lips as he thanked her for the blessing that she has given to him on this special day. He smiled at her but noticed that she looks tired and he felt sad in his heart because his wife went through a lot to bring their babies into this world.

She held onto his hand as she said "what are we going to name the babies? We never picked names before they were born and now they're here so we have to call them by their names and not call them baby." 

 He walked up to the babies and they looked quite small. He smiled at them and said to himself that this is how every human being came into this world looking small and innocent until the world turned them around to show them a new phase but he prays that his children never know suffering and pain. He walked back to his wife and told her to spill because he knows that she already has names in her mind. He told her that whatever name she gives the children is okay with him because he loves everything that comes from her. She smiled sheepishly and told him that there are a few names which she has been thinking about for a long time because, with everything that they have been through, it seems those are the appropriate names for their children.

I'll like us to name the girl who came first Chimamanda which means my God will never fail and name the boy Chizulukeme which means my God is too mighty (or great.)

Kamsy smiled and said so we call the girl Amanda for short and we call the boy Keme. I love the names that you have given to our babies and I pray that these names work for them anywhere they find themselves. Kamsy believes so much in names as he believes that our names have a lot to do with our personalities and our journeys in life. His wife has named their children well and he hopes that those names follow them and also work for them. He went to his children again and began to call them their names as he couldn't help it. He held their little fingers and smiled at them again as he told his wife "I can't believe these people were living inside that stomach of yours and even the day that you and I slept on the road after our crazy adventure, these guys were there inside you. I respect you so much because you have done something that I would have never been able to do."

She told him that she feels very sleepy and will like to have some rest so he walked up to her and kissed her forehead before excusing her and immediately he left, she fell asleep as the sleep seemed like the best sleep she has had in a very long time.

Doctors in the hospital were very busy on that day as victims of multiple accidents were rushed in and nobody knew when a group of people came in and kidnapped Lota and her son. Immediately those people left, another person came in and took the girl.

 A nurse who was walking in and saw a strange-looking woman carrying a baby felt uneasy so she walked into the ward and when she entered, the place was empty so she raised an alarm.
