Both Tina and Bella went into the city in search of a loft apartment to rent for the time being. Bella was overwhelmed by a hurtful emotion that was eating her up gradually, she couldn't think straight and had not stopped crying since the news.
"You know this isn't good for you, crying will not solve the issue at hand, I would have loved you had stayed back to listen to your mum than leave," Tina suggested, not having an idea of what to do for her friend at this point. Being told that the family you grew up with is not your real family and that you were picked from the roadside was not easy to take in.
She could understand what her friend was going through, they meant everything to Bella, everything she ever did, accepting Lilo's crazy proposal, letting herself get used by a billionaire if not that he developed feelings for her along the line, was for her family, to enrich them, to lift them from poverty. And just when she came back to do that, she was cast away by her father.
Bella wanted to know who her real parents were or what they looked like, but her mother said they had no idea on who she was.
.
"We saw you crying on the street crying that day without your parents my dear". Bertha started cleaning her tears, and left for her she would have carried this I formation to her grave if she had to. Who knew Paul would say anything to divide the family. Bella is her child, she cared less if she birthed her or not, but she has taken the girl as hers. She loved her as a mother would to her child.
"We asked you severally about your parents but you kept on crying calling daddy and Lily. We went back to that place to wait for them just in case someone came back for you, but none came. No one came to search for you, you're a blessing to us Bella, we gave you the name cause you had none. What happened to you my love, who left you there that day?"
.
Jolting back to reality, she sobbed even more ignoring the call from Antonio, who could her parents be? Why did they leave her all alone? Did they not want her? If only she could recall what had happened to her and why she ended up at the roadside at that time. She retired to bed after the long crying hoping to take a stroll around that area the next day.
Maybe if she takes a stroll around the city, she'd be able to recall some truth about her family, her only prayer is that they're not dead.
.
.
"Where the hell is she?" Vivian asked the slender-looking tall advanced man before her, his brown hair with a hint of white was parted to the side as his doll grey color eyes stared at her. she's asked them to look for Belle anyway they can, just a few moments ago her daughter got back home sad, saying Antonio was really done with her this time. He made it clear he was married and loves his wife, being Bella.
Lilo was the one getting hurt for the favor she tried to render to a poor unfortunate whore, a whore that deliberately stole her man acting all innocent. They were going to have a great name in the community, being feared and respected by all, becoming inlaws to the Willans, the biggest family in the city, and have grandkids together of such a bloodline of greatness. It was no news the heir of Antonio Willan would succeed in his father's business according to their family law. Yes, Antonio would have an heir, but that heir is from another woman who's not a part of their family. Vivian was angered, she would do anything to take Bella out.
"We have no idea where she is at the moment but we're still trying to find out about it." The man said with a bow, "What am I paying you for, find her." "There's no way she would be out of this world, I don't want her returning to this place, I want her gone," Vivian added. "What are you suggesting we do Madam?"
"Is that a question? I'm very sure I was clear when I said out of this world." She gestured her hands for the man to leave. "Who's that?" Lilo stepped in, "He's just one of my workers, he came to report about the company, we've been going short on supplies lately and even if your father doesn't want to admit it, I think we're going bankrupt." She said changing the conversation quickly. If there's anything she wants to do is not get her daughter involved in her mess.
When she decided to deal with Bella she wanted it done quietly, no one has to know it should be between herself and her worker. "What do we do about that, dad can hire business intellects, there are a lot of people willing to handle businesses around the world. An idea from them would make a great change." Lilo suggested. She knew nothing about businesses, but hanging out with Ruben and his family has taught her a lot.
"I hope he listens, cause personally, that's a good idea." Vivian smiled. "Now, let us let the men handle their businesses, let's talk about you." She pats the chair next to her for Lilo to sit and she did. "What about me?" Lilo asked.
"Lilo, every woman has one purpose in life, having a family. This is above every other achievement you can think of, having a family of your own." "How can I have one when mine Is stolen from me?" She wiped her tears. One thing Lilo cannot do is hide her feelings, she's always been an outspoken person from the beginning. She didn't know how to sit alone in a room and cry all day or week cause of some man, she would always talk to people so as not to feel depressed.
But for the first time in her life, she could not talk about Ruben, the man buried inside her heart. It's like he owns a place in there. She just could not forget him no matter how hard she tried. All she wanted to do was work like every other woman in the world, she had thought a replacement would be great like Tina suggested, but no, it was only a plan to steal Antonio away from her.
