CHAPTER 216:YOU ARE FAMILY.

On that day, Ivana asked doctor Masika about the copse of the other baby. Doctor Masika told her that she will be given the copse to burry, if that's what she wanted. Since it was a process to claim the copse and she was just alone, she was unable to claim the body.

So she informed Mish about wanting to burry her own baby, near the grave if her father. Mish agreed to her and told her that the best way it day to do that was the next day. She was to ask permission from her boss so that she can help Ivana do that.

So in the evening Mish had informed the girls that Ivana had given birth and the other baby didn't survive. So the girls went to work as normal to finish what they were doing. They agreed that in the evening Charo will have to take them there.

In the evening as agreed Charo picked them from the shop after picking up Mish. He took them to the hospital to visit Ivana. They bought fruits and some soft drinks for Ivana.

When they arrived in Ivana's room, she was sleeping. So Mish adviced them not to wake her up, Milka was so happy to see the baby. She was good with the babies so she held the baby in her hands and played with it.

After a short time of their arrival, Sammy arrived too. He was surprised to see girls in the room. The only person he recognized was Mish.

"I am sorry to interrupt, I guess it's a family mini reunion. I guess I will have to leave," he said.

"No, no, you don't have too Sammy, you are Ivana's friend, so that makes you a family," Mish said as she welcomed him in.

Sammy spotted Milka holding the baby in a lovely way.

"You seem to love babies,right?"Sammy asked.

"I love babies, my life was surrounded by babies sir," she replied and at that moment her phone vibrated showing an incoming call.

Milka handed the baby to Sammy without asking if he was comfortable holding the baby or not. She stepped outside the room and received the call. It was Mama Teresia from children home calling

"Mama Teresia how are you?" Milka beamed with happiness.

"I am fine Milka you seem so happy, can you share your happiness with me?" Mama Teresia joked.

"It's just that we have a new family member. You remember the lady we came to see you with. The first time we visited? She gave birth yesterday that's why I am happy," Milka explained.

"I know you love babies and you are good with them," she said then kept quiet like someone who was thinking about something.

"Mama Teresia,are you okay? Why are you silent all over sudden? Is something the matter?" She asked worriedly.

"I don't know if it will be possible for you to come back here for some months. I wanted you to ask permission from your boss so that you come and help me to take care of something," Mama Teresia said.

"What is it Mama Teresia, just tell me I will try and explain it to my boss. You know she is not a bad person, she will agree to it if the matter is crucial," Milka said.

"The thing is, yesterday we found a one week old baby at the gate of the children's home. I have been trying to take care of it for two days now but I guess it's difficult with me. You know I am aging Mish so I thought that you can be available for only two months. I wanted you to help me take care of this baby.

"Is the baby a boy or a girl?" Milka asked.

"It's a boy, a very cute boy," she replied.

"Okay Nana Teresia I can't promise but I will try and tell my boss. I will let you know about her reply," Mish replied.

"Okay my daughter, tank you so much," she said then ended the call.

After the call have ended, Milka returned to the room and fortunately Ivana was awake. The first thing Ivana asked was Milka's where abouts. She was informed that she was on call.

"Ma'am Ivana you are awake?" She said upon entering the room.

"I was even enquiring about you, how is the work at the shop?" 

"The work is fine, you can even confirm it from Stacy, Gloria and Nekesa," Milka said.

"I know you are doing your best girls l, thank you so much," 

Milka took the baby from Sammy's hands and handed it to Ivana. The way Ivana was looking at Mila then back to Sammy, communicated alot. She was like communicating to her to hand the baby to Ivana.

"It feels so good to hold the baby in my hands, he gave me the joy. A feeling that I can't explain." Sammy said happily.

"Yeah, it makes one happy," Ivana added.

"Ivana, Mish I will be on my way I don't want to be got up on the traffic Jam," Sammy said as he stood up ready to leave.

"Before you leave Sammy, tomorrow I am being discharged from the hospital. Then I am going to burry my baby at the cemetery where dad is. For those who are surprised, yesterday I gave birth to twins but unfortunately one if the baby didn't survive because if brain damage. I have decided to burry my baby tomorrow, so if you are willing you can join me at the cemetery I guess at exactly ten o'clock in the morning," Ivana informed.

"Have you made the all arrangements? Like the hearse that will carry the corpse and the priest that will lead the burial mass?" Sammy asked.

"As you all know, I am kinda a celebrity so I don't want the paparazzi covering or knowing what happened. I guess from the hospital we will go straight to the cemetery. I have already told the grave diggers. I will burry my child upon arrival," she said as she wiped away the tears that were flowing down her cheeks.
