CHAPTER 254:THE WEALTH IS MINE ALONE.
Ivana was full of thoughts when she arrived at Alika's apartment. ' Does it mean that I have a relative aside from uncle Mukhongo and Mish? So who is this an elderly woman with her son? Can she be my mother and maybe my younger brother. But if she was still alive then why hasn't she come out yet,' Ivana thought.
She bathed her boys and left them to play with toys. She tried avoiding the thoughts but they were too much. So she decided to sleep on the couch as she waited for Mish and Milka if she will decide to drop by maybe to say hello to her.
After a short period finally she heard the car pulling over outside the house. She knew right away that Mish was back from the company.
She hurriedly walked to the house as she wanted to talk to Ivana about John.
"Hey how are you," she greeted Ivana upon stepping into the house.
"You are back how was the job?" Ivana enquired.
"Just as always, stressing and to add on that now that my father is in jail and the chairman position is vacant," she explained.
"You should just save enough money to use it as a starting capital. Being employed is more stressful than self-employment," Ivana suggested.
"Actually that's a good idea bit, not everyone can manage a business or rather can employ him or herself and I think I am among those people," Mish replied.
"Mish sometimes you just amaze me, you complain how stressful the work is. Yet you don't want to start your own business. Just take it as a risk, with that you will learn slowly as you grow into being a fine businesswoman," Ivana advised bit Mish had already spaced out as she was thinking about the conversation she had with John.
"At least now I don't have to stress myself over creating much wealth. What my father will leave for me and adding on what I have will be enough for me. I don't have to worry because I already confirmed that I am the only daughter and son of my father," she said smugly.
"What does that statement supposed to mean?"
"So today I mastered the courage and faced the guy I was telling you about sometime back." She said.
"Huh? You are talking about the driver you said that resembles your father?"
"Yes, I am happy that his surname is Olesya and he said that his father already passed. You know back then when I was telling you about him, I was worried about the wealth that my father have to be divided between the two of us. So when he said that he is not related to my dad. I was more than happy and I relaxed my mind over everything," Mish explained.
Ivana sat upright on the couch as she chuckled then asked, "How sure are you that, he didn't lie to you Mish?"
"I am sure because I know how my colleagues fear me. I know that I am very intimidating and no one dared to lie to me. Or else they, know what I can do to them. Too bad that my father is not the chairman again or else firing them would have been easy," she said with a smirk.
"Wow, I never knew that my cousin can be as bad as that," Ivana said with sarcasm.
"It's not like that, Ivana doesn't understand me in a wrong way," she said. Anyway, how was your day, I know that my nephews are not giving you the humble time," Mish tried changing the story
"They are fine and my day was okay. Today I visited my son and my father at the cemetery. I took my sons there too so at least my day was not that boring," Ivana said.
"Why didn't you tell me? I would have accompanied you to the cemetery to say hello to them. I don't remember the last time I visited the cemetery. I guess next time I will have to accompany you so remember to tell me when you will go visiting.
Ivana looked at her then smiled, she didn't comment on anything so that made Mish very worried.
"Hey what are you thinking? Mish asked
"There is something else that I don't know if I should be happy or do my Investigation first," she said.
"What is it, is it something you are comfortable sharing with me?
"So after I have talked to both my father and son I was walking out of the cemetery when I met with the man who takes care of the cemetery. He told me that he have spotted a middle-aged woman with a young man visiting my dad two times now," Ivana said.
"And, did he tell you their names?
"No, when he enquired about them, they said that they are the relatives to my dad. So I don't know if we have an aunt? Like a sister to our fathers?"
"No my dad told me that they were born only the two of them so I guess she is not our aunt.
"Then my intuition might be correct. Maybe that woman and young men are my mothers and young brother," Ivana said.
"Why do you say so?"
"I don't I just feel like maybe my mother is not dead but like the way Milka has been telling me," Ivana said.
"Why are you concluding Something that you have no idea about? if the woman was your mother why hasn't she come to claim you?" Mish asked surprised.
"I don't know Mish maybe she is just scared and thinks that I won't accept them. The good thing is that I have told the grave man to call me the next time he spots them," Ivana said.
"But I don't think if you are related maybe the woman used to work for the uncle that's why she visits his grave. I don't think if the aunt was still alive then uncle would have informed you before," she commented.
"I really don't know but I am just hoping that she is my mother I am ready to accept her into my life," a said.
