“ Oh thank you cupcake, you made my day now we just have to wait till my dad wakes up,” she said smiling from ear to ear.

“ it’s has been a long I hear you call me that, and yes we just have to wait.” He said and she hold his hand.

Suddenly a doctor walk to them

“ He is awake now, you can go and see him.” The doctor assured.

Bianca walk towards the door and Davis step back slowly, she notices it and grabs his hand

“Come with me, it’s time he accepts you for my sake.” She muttered  

They both enter the room holding hands                                      

“ Bianca my dear” Mr Miller said in a weak tone  and she hugs him

“ Am sorry dad for everything,” she muttered, he grasp her hand and stare into her eyes.

“Am sorry too my girl.” He said giving her a weak smile.

“Dad it’s time you accept Davis, he saved your life, he has also bailed you,” she said and he turn to look at Davis, he just stands at the corner looking at them with sweat forming on his forehead.

“ I know.”  Mr Miller stated

“ How did you know? Bianca ask with raised eyebrows.

“ I saw him talking to the inspector right before I collapsed, come here my son he said starring at Davis, he took Davis hand and place it on Bianca’s

“ Please take good care of my daughter.” He declared.

“ I will,” Davis replied with a smile.

“ Go wait outside.” Mr Miller said and Davis make an attempt to leave.

“ Not you Davis, I was talking to Bianca.” He declared.

“ Dad why me?” Bianca ask with pouted lips.

“ I want to talk to my son-in-law.” He replied

“Okay am going,” she said walking out of the room without looking her front, she bumped into the door and hit her head.

Mr Miller and Davis laugh at the sight.

“ Oops sorry am going.” She said holding her forehead she walk outside the room and put her ear on the door.

“ I know you are still there!” Mr Miller  yelled

She sighs and walk away from the door when she eyed Jake and he walk to her.

“How is your dad doing?” he asks curiously.

“He is alright now.” She shrug

“Thank god!”  he remarks.

“ You can leave now,” Bianca stated glaring at him with her hands folded.

“ Are you chasing me away?” he asks

“ Nope I ain’t, my dad was in danger you couldn’t help him and we fought because of you.” She scoffed twisting her lips.

“ You know I was on my way to the police station when I saw your dad being rushed out.....
