I hit her with my car

“I told you to pray before you sleep to avoid dreaming bad dreams.” my mum said stroking her hair

“Okay mum I will and you didn’t tell me a bedtime story yesterday,” she stated with her lips pursed together.

“I thought we already talk about that you are too old for that now.” my mum replied

“But you haven’t finished telling me the story of beauty and the beast.” She grinned

“Don’t worry we can go watch it at the cinema this weekend.” my dad assured and Lily squeal clapping her hands.

We all finish eating and I follow my dad outside the house to the garage. He tries to get into his car and I accompany him

“Go away your car is over there.” he scoffed.                                             

“I am used to going to school with you,” I whined

“Don’t be childish I need to go.” He Said and got into his car, I pace a little and enter my car

I got so carried away acting like a baby, today is the day I talk to Rachael whether the devil-like it or not I speed up going to school and nearly hit someone on the way to school, I look at the person from my glass and I could see that it was a female.

“Sorry miss.” I apologize for trying to see the face of the person

“You can go, sir, it’s okay.” the person said picking up her books, I look at her and could only see the person's head.

How can someone not have a bag to put their book I thought and realize it was Rachael, should I offer to take her to school in my car. Nope, it’s not now I am still not ready for it I said and use one hand to close my face and drive away. But I thought she had a bag yesterday what happened today.

I arrive at college and saw my friends waiting for me in front of the class                

“Hey man you are here,” James said giving me a handshake and we all do your special handshake including Jane

“I nearly hit Rachael with my car just now can you believe she doesn’t have a school bag,” I said opening my eyes wide.

“What do you mean you nearly hit her, is she walking?” Jane asks

“Yes of course,” I replied because of her dump question

“But I thought I saw Lisa getting in a car yesterday how strange,” she said rubbing her chin I hate it when she does that.

“Speaking of Lisa we meet her at the club yesterday,”  John said and James pinches him giving him signals not to say anything.

“So you guys dish me to go to the club,” Jane said giving me her bag and clenching her fist. She is furious

“No, we can explain.” James protested running away from Jane.

“Explain what, I was all alone in my karate class yesterday and you are trying to explain.” she snapped throwing things at them.
