Looking for a job

“Dad sister Rachael was on the news,” she stated

“Lily what are you wearing? Mrs Bianca ask

“Nothing mum,” Lily replied with pouted lips running to her room and Mrs Bianca run after her.

Steve takes the remote and plays the news back for his dad.

“Gosh! What are we going to do FBI are on to us.” Mr Davis exclaimed

“It’s cool as long as they don’t know our whereabouts,” Rachael replied.

“Your parents seem to be going to all the measures to find you.” Steve rubbed his chin.

“They are just looking for me to spank and torture me and I am never going back!” Rachael declared and Mr Davis look at her.

“They will still find you one day, the truth can’t be concealed forever.” Mr  Davis assured

“I need to live my life the way I want before that happens I want to start working so I can rent my own house and leave alone,” Rachael said

“Are you willing to work as a waitress?” Mr Davis ask?

“No she can’t a lot of eyes will be on her, why not find a job as a musician for her?” Steve suggested

“You can work as a musician at my friend’s restaurant but you need a singing partner.” Mr Davis said looking at

Steve.

“Steve, can you work with me?” Rachael ask                                             

“I can’t sing that much but I can work with you if my Dad agrees,”  Steve said.

“You can work as long as you come straight home when you are through with work.” Mr Davis replied

“I promise Dad thanks,” Steve said smiling from ear to ear and his phone rings.

“Hello, Jane.”

“Where are you, we have been waiting like hell.” She snapped.

“Sorry I nearly forget am on my way,” he said and hang up

“Where are you going?” Mr Davis asks

“Am going to see my friends I promise to meet up with them tonight.” He replied

“You can go don’t be late.” Mr Davis said and Steve run up the stairs and walks down holding the car keys he stared at Rachael who was reading.

And run out of the house and into his car.

He ignites the engine and drives out of the mansion to Jane’s house.

Minutes later  

He arrives in front of her house and packs his car. He steps out of his car and sighted Jane who was starring at him with her eyes burning with fury.

“Why did you take so long to come?” she asks glaring at him

“I was talking to my Dad,” he replied

“Daddy’s boy come with me JJ is waiting in my Dad’s shop,” she said walking ahead of him and he follow her closely. She stops at a big shop bring out a set of keys from her pocket striving to open the door.

“Wait did you lock them In there?” Steve ask

“yea, they ask me to since I wanted to go wait for you.” She replied and open the door.

Steve walk in with her and gaze at JJ on the couch drinking.
