“Which kind of dog should we buy? A puppy, a bulldog or a German shepherd.” I ask and she twists her mouth.
“A puppy then,” I muttered.
“No, not a puppy we were asked to train a dog, not a puppy.” She mumbled.
“What’s your favourite colour,” I ask smiling at her.
“white.” She replied
“That’s my mum’s favourite colour, I will get a white German shepherd then,” I said and she weirdly looks at me.
“Let go to the dog section,” I said and she drag her foot on the floor walking slowly behind me.
“Come it will be okay am here,” I assured and drag her by the hand. We both arrive at the dog section and I slowly leave her hand.
I started looking at the dogs with her. And they bark as they see us, I myself am not a lover of dogs but my Aunt loves dogs she even has a dog named Swifty.
I saw a bog, it was white fluffy and it gazed at me with his sparkly blue eyes, wagging his tall.
“Let buy this one.” She said pointing at the dog shyly.
“Okay, manager! I will like to take this dog.” I said and they remove him from the cage and put a rope around his neck and handed him to me.
I pay for the dog and I hold the dog walking away with it.
Rachael walk behind me slowly I roll my eyes and stop with the dog. She stands and stares at the dog.
“Are you that afraid of dogs?” I ask and she walks back slowly.
“Remember this is a school project and I need your support in this.” I started and bend down stroking the dog.
She inhales and exhales and looks at me.
“Okay can I stroke it too.” She asks shyly.
“You can,” I said and she moves forward touching the dog slowly and the dog barks, she runs away frightened I couldn’t help but smile.
I carry the dog and lead it outside with me. And eyed Jane in the hen area.
“I don’t like that one it’s too ugly.” She lamented looking at the hen
“Then, what should we take when you are complaining about every single hen in this store.” Her partner said I just look at them with a smile on my face these guys are the worst combination ever, Jane doesn’t like working with strangers.
“I just hate hen,” Jane said resting on the wall
“And you were the one that pick the hen not me.” The guy said
“How do you expect me to know it was a hen?” she asks pissed.
“I will choose a hen and you will pay, I would have paid but my money got stolen I will pay you back tomorrow.” He said looking at all the hens.
I walk to Jane and she looks at me and then at the dog.
“Such a cutie.” She said stroking the dog.
“How I wish mine was a dog too, what’s his name? she inquired.
