Getting used to our pets

“I will give you a pill to ease the pain.” He stated reaching for his briefcase.

“Do I need a pill?” Rachael whisper in my ear.

“Yes you do, this is the disadvantage of having doctors as parents,” I whisper and my dad handed her medicine.

“Have you eaten? He asks

“No,” she replied.          

“Why haven’t you eaten, where is the chef.” He asks looking around.

“Dad it’s not the chef’s fault we burn our dinner and I already ordered pizza,” I assured.

“It’s was Steve’s fault, he went to the kitchen to distract Rachael.” My mum mumbled.

“No mum, I didn’t." I protested.

“You did, are you trying to say am lying." She asks attempting to slap me we all hear the doorbell, I use the opportunity to run to the door.

My pizza is here.” I said and open the door. I signed and took the pizza from the delivery guy and close the door with my leg.

I walk to the couch and handed a pizza to Rachael, but she didn’t take it from me instead she just stare at me.

“Can you see she can’t hold thing’s.” my mum said

“What do you want me to do? Feed her.” I inquired blushing.

“Give me that.” She said taking the pizza from me.

We finish eating and we all head to bed.

The next day at school Steve and Rachael walk into the school with their dog and Steve attempt to go and sweep he looks at the dog and then at Rachael.

“Can you keep the dog with you while I sweep? He asks bluntly

“You know I can’t handle dogs am afraid of them,” she replied walking back slowly

Steve grunts and tied the dog to a chair and the dog barks continuously.

“Steve why did you tide it to that chair don’t you know that’s the chair I normally sit.”  Rachael lamented

“Then learn how to sit with it if you want us to win the competition,”  he replied and she grunts and stands away from the dog resting her back on the wall.

Christian and his guys walk to Steve

“You are here early,” he muttered

“Stop talking to me and go and sweep”,  Steve replied

“Why do I have a strange feeling that you are the one that prank us yesterday,” he said stroking his chin

“You can think whatever you want but I don’t prank people like you, you are not up to my standards,” Steve said walking away and Christian looks at him and grunts.

“Let go guys,” he said putting his hand in his pocket.

 they finish sweeping and Steve walk to Rachael who was still resting on the wall.

“So you are acting quite stubborn huh? I promise you dogs are harmless and the cutest pet you will ever have”,  Steve said

“Easy for you to say”, Rachael said and Jane walks to them with Trevor following her with the hen.

“Why are you following me get that thing away from me?” Jane scoffed

“But we are partners” he added
