"I have known Steve for a long time now, and he wouldn’t think of taking drugs." James muttered, stroking his chin. Hearing this, Trevor moves back slowly.
He attempted to leave, and Jane held his hand and glare at him.
"Where are you going?" she asked bluntly.
"I-I am going home." He stutters, sweating continuously. Jane noticed that he was acting strange and refused to let go of his hand.
"Tell me, why are you in a hurry?" she inquired.
"My grandma needs me." He muttered and withdrew his hand from Jane.
She stares at him, James and John stand in front of him, blocking him from going.
"Why do I have a feeling you know why Steve is like that?" John said, glaring at him. And Trevor sighted Christian. He was in his car waving him to come.
"I don’t know what you are talking about. I need to go." He said with his lips trembling, and JJ didn’t move out of the way.
Jane wanted to tell them to let him go, but for some reason, her mouth didn’t open.
"Tell us the truth, we won’t let you go." John stated, and Christian and his friends started walking towards them.
"What's your problem? Can’t you see he was coming to me." Christian said, rudely glaring at John.
"We are asking him a question. If he doesn’t answer, he is going nowhere." James declared
Trevor attempted to leave, but JJ stopped him.
"Guys, stop fooling around, I have no time for child’s play." Christian muttered and tried to push them out of the way. They moved away from him. He staggered and was about to hit Jane when she moved out of the way for him. He was about to fall to the ground when his friends held his hand. He balanced on his feet, glaring at JJJ.
Jane moves to the front and stares at Christian.
"Trevor is coming with me." She said, her lips pursed tightly together.
Trevor was trying to go when, James held his collar and pulled him back. He looked at James and gave him a toothy smile.
"Why do you guys want Trevor? He is not an object that someone will want." Jane stated glaring at Christian.
Christian stood on his feet and shoved his hand in his pocket, starring confidently at Jane.
"Alright, he can go with you." Christian shrugged, looking at Trevor. He winked at him and walked away.
"Trevor, what relationship do you have with Christian?" Jane inquired, starring at him.
"I was his errand boy, and now I am his friend." He muttered, avoiding her gaze.
"Friend, have you ever seen a lion hanging out with a tiger?" John inquired, and Trevor gulped.
Jane put her mouth in John's ear, whispering something to him.
"I think Trevor knows something that we don't. I will try to get him to open up to me." She muttered.
"Alright, take care." John beamed and she started walking away with Trevor to her car.
