New Rachael 2

She quickly washed the plate and put it in the drawer as Mrs Ray walked in glaring at her and Lisa followed behind.

"Have you finished cooking the soup?" Mrs. Ray inquired, her brow furrowed.

"Yes," Rachael replied.

"Where is Lisa’s phone." She asked, walking closer to Rachael.

"I don’t have it, I swear." Rachael said, lifting her hands.

"I don’t believe you. Why don’t we search her." Lisa said, moving forward, and Mrs Ray attempted to put her hand in Rachael’s pocket.

Rachael closed her eyes and Mr Ray walked in.

"What is going on here?" he asked coldly. And Mrs Ray withdrew her hand.

"Rachael stole my phone, dad." Lisa beamed.

"Rachael, is Lisa telling the truth?" Mr Ray inquired.

"No, she is lying. You know she is too careless. She left it at the dining table yesterday." Rachael stated, glaring at Lisa.

"You are lying. I remember I was using it in my room before I slept off." Lisa replied, gnashing her teeth. And they both started glaring at each other.

"Girls, calm down. Aren’t you going to school? Rachael give Lisa her phone." Mr Ray commanded, and Rachael put her hand in her pocket and handed Lisa the phone. Lisa snatches the phone from her and walks away.

"Honey, is the food ready, I have to go to work now. Be fast." Mr Ray said as he walked out of the room.

Mrs Ray move closer to Rachael and Rachael walk back slowly and she rest at the counter.

"I want to warn you to stop messing with Lisa. You know you are older than her and you should act mature." Mrs Ray muttered.

"Alright, I get you, blah blah blah." Rachael remarks, and pushed her away, and started bringing plates out of the drawer.

Mrs Ray serves the food, and Rachael carries the food and the soup to the dining table.  They finish arranging the food, and they all settle down at the dining table, ready to eat, holding their spoons. There was sliced beef, chocolate cake on the table as dessert, and soup and baked beans on the side of the table.

Mr Ray carried his spoon and the first thing that caught his eyes was the soup. He licked his lower lip and scooped the soup into this spoon.

He was moving the spoon to this mouth. Rachael wasn’t eating. She was starring at her father, trying her best not to laugh, and Mrs Ray took a scoop of the soup.

Rachael quickly inserted her fork into a slice of beef and put it in her mouth.

Mr Ray put the soup in his mouth and his expression changed. It was as if lava was coming out of his ear.

"Water! water! He yelled, sticking out his tongue, and Mrs Ray put the soup in her mouth and started pouring water into a glass cup for him.

He was about to take the water when she drank it.

"What is wrong with you? You used all the chili peppers in the world to cook and now you are not giving me water."
