Talent show 2

       Rachael’s POV

I walk around the backstage with the teacher. She is telling me what I need to know to give my best performance, I need to give it my all so I will be recognized by musicians all over the world, although I don’t’ do hip-hop music. I am so nervous. I wish Steve was here with me, holding my hands and making me feel calm.

I want to see him and maybe take his number, I haven’t taken anyone’s number, so I want him to be the first to have my number. After a series of lectures from the teacher that I wasn’t even listening to.

"I will leave you now. It’s up to you now." She muttered, walking away. I found a bench in the corner of the room and sat there. My eyes drifted to the foreign students. There were many students in here expressing their music and playing their different instruments. All of them know how to play an instrument to go with their music. That why I learn how to play the violent but I am not going to use it in my music. I think I should sing this girl is on fire.

                        Author’s POV

Steve and his friend made their way into the hall and settled down in the second row. Students started rushing in, and suddenly all the seats were occupied. And some students were standing outside the hall. There were a lot of students because they came from different schools just to take part in the competition.

"I don’t see Lisa anywhere." John said, scanning the students with his eyes.

"I don’t see her friend either." James remarks

"Maybe she is outside just like the other students, or she couldn’t make it." Steve suggested.

"I just hope she is outside. We can’t afford her not to be here today. Our plan will be ruined." Jane remarked, and the MC made his way to the front of the stage.

"Good morning, people!!" he yelled, and all the students started cheering.

"Thank you all for coming to watch these beautiful students showcase their talents. We won’t let you down. Enjoy the show." He said, calling the first student to the stage.

The student was only a guitar. He walked to the front of the stage.

Lisa and her friends were on top of the stage on the ceiling of the stage. Lisa and her friends were carrying a bucket filled with water that was bringing out smoke. They were all wearing face masks and covered their noses.

"Once she starts singing, we put it here and you will hold the rope. For like five minutes, you will drag the rope and spill it all over her body. " Lisa instructed.

"Guys, I am feeling guilty about this. Don’t you guys think it’s cruel?" one of them remarks.

"I don’t think it’s cruel, it’s what she deserves for stealing the spotlight from Lisa." Another one added.

"Guys, stop talking, help me set it, I already made a hole in the ceiling yesterday just for this." Lisa said, moving the bucket to an opening in the ceiling.
