CHAPTER 39

Finally, my wedding introduction is here.

My friends are here to help me, the've been here since yesterday.

My Traditional wear for the introduction is ready, Dayo made sure it was my choice of dress even I was the one who choosed the traditional wear which is known as also Oke and the style he would sew.

I choose a beautiful blouse and wrapper style while I choose the modern men traditional style.

We did our shoe shopping together, it was a limited edition and a matching clutch purse for me.

The catered are cooking, some people were invited from our former neighbourhood .

Dayo says he wants every moment in every single step into our union be a memorable one.

Every of our guests were fitted, I could see people who came from our former neighbourhood were wowed by our new house.

Kate also just drove in walking majestically into the venue, she came into mom's room since that's where I sleep because I have limited time in the house and moreover I spend most of my time at Dayo's place.

She embraced me, we discussed a bit and the makeup artist Dayo hired came to give me a makeover and help me dressed up and help me tie my headgear.

My friends also dressed up because they would dance into the event venue with me.

This is how it is done by the yoruba tribe in Nigeria even the grooms friends would follow him in dancing and postrating

The coordinator for the introduction ceremony started the ceremony while Dayo's family danced in and after a while Dayo and friends were made to prostrate and after other things been done.

I was called out to meet my future in laws.

I and my friends and kate  danced to the venue and I was blessed by my mom and my in laws, both of us were blessed as well and other things were said by coordinator and gifts were  given to my family, closing prayers were made and everyone was served.

The ceremony goes according to how I and my fiancé wanted it, we took selfies as well and post them on all of our social media handle.

After eating and seeing some guest off ,the 2 families, my family and Dayo's family decided to discussed on date including I and Dayo.

" I and my queen" he held my palm in his hand " thinks the end of next month will be fine for the wedding" Dayo said. While I smile and nod my head.

" Yes that date is okay" Dayo mom said " I think a month is okay for the wedding preparations on our side" said Dayo's mom.

"Yes" Dayo's Dad says.

"I don't think that date is enough on our side because, I have a lot of guests , my late husband family will also have their own guests, I have my church group, cooperative group that I am inviting and I have to choose a uniform aso-ebi for them and this is my first daughter s wedding, it's the first wedding in this family, it has to be special, so I think we should shift it 3 months time.
