CHAPTER 69

My husband called 2 hours later that he got a job with a building site to help them carry 1000 blocks, tears just fell down my face as he told me that.

I didn't mutter a word, he knew I was crying and he said "my queen it's going to be fine, don't cry anymore, it's for a while" I closed my eyes and muttered Hmm. " I have to go" he said and he hangs While I threw my cellphone on the bed and I lie on the bed with my facedown weeping profusely.

My husband returned home at 6:15pm, I have already prepare beans for dinner while I was sitting inside the sitting room breastfeeding Jamie while mother in law was playing with Jayden while there was a knock on the gate, my mother in law goes to get the gate and Jayden was also done with sucking, I put back my breast into my bra cup and stood up to see who was knocking, it was my hubby dragging  his feet in.

I quickly walk to him and embrace him.

" you look so worn out dear" his mom said.

" All my body aches badly" he said.

I gave him the glass of water and he drank all.

" Sorry my king, I think we should still manage what we have, this job building site job will worn you out" I said.

 I go into the kitchen and bring him a pain relief from the cabinet while I set the dinning.

After a while he carried both his kids on his shoulders and soon they fell asleep and both of us go to lay them into their cradles after we lay the kids into their cradles, he brought out the N1500 and showed it to me.

" I took transport, this the remaining," he said as we walk to the dining. "I will use it for transport next week" he said.

Mother in law was already eating while I pull out my chair to sit and my husband pulls out his chair to sit aswell.

"Son, I and your dad discussed on phone and I explanation the situation to him and, he said he would arrange a particular amount he would be sending to your account and that he will help speak to few friends if they can help, so son I think you need to put a stop to this job" mother in law said.

" Thanks mom for your concern and I will call dad as well to appreciate him but I think it's better I continue this job" he said.

" You can't" his mom said, look how worn out you look today".his mom said

" I already spoke to the contractor in charge of the building I work today, he has promised to help me, he days he gets job all the time that he will add me to one of his laboured and they would pay N4000 per day and he says some of those jobs could last 3months, like the one I would follow them now would last 3months, that's 100k plus in a month" he said." at least I would be able to take care of my family" he said.
