CHAPTER 104

" what did you say?" I asked.

" I said I want to go and play with kids in their nursery, that I will be back soon and should I help you bring your food here?

" No, I will come to the dining" I said.

"Okay" . And he leaves the room while I returned to my call.

"Hello" I said over the phone.

" Make sure you come to work together" he said.

"I am not and will never come to work with you, do you hear me !" I shouted at him but in a low tone because I do not want anyone hearing me.

And I could hear him chuckled over the phone.

" You can run , leave my job but you can't run out of my reach because I will find a way to make you mine.

I don't even know where this boldness is coming from, maybe because I have cried out my eyes.

" Look I do not care whatever you plan to do, if it's because you gave my husband a slot that you feel divorcing my husband is the best, you just missed it because  I and my husband will remain forever, we will get a better job, we will get a way out, now get out of my phone" I hissed and I hanged.

With what I just told him, I felt relieved and when I remember going back to the life we lived in the past few months I felt sad, I stood up, entered the bathroom to wash my face and I go to join my family downstairs.

I decided to sleep over at mom's place and my sibling clears the dining table and go into their room while I and mom walk back to the sitting room.

Mom was switching the channels.

" Mom, Nini is looking fresh like she even wear limited edition, I got angry seeing her at Mike's office, she doesn't even do anything there or have you seen where a worker is allow to to gist during working hour in the boss office? As we were talking there was a knock on our door and Simi goes to get the door.

" Good evening sir" I heard Simi greeted. And next I heard Simi said " she's inside and Simi let's him in and it was Mike.

As I saw it was Mike I quickly began to use my hand to do my dress very well including my hair.

" Good evening Ma" he prostrate.

" Good evening Mike, to what do I hold this visit" Mom said while  smiling. " I will kill a cow just because you remembered my house today" she said jokingly.

"Good evening sir" I greeted smiling.

" Good evening kate" he answered me .

" Please sit sir" I said and he sat on one of the chairs.

" Kate go and bring water and soft drink from the fridge" mom said and I stood up to go bring it and he said.

" Don't bother ma, I won't be long ma" he said.

" Let her bring the soft drink and water, you cannot come to my house and won't even take anything" she said.

Am fine ma" Mike said. I came to see you for something important" He said.
